Almost as good as I remember it... ordered an "emergency" cheese, meaning, at the end of the drive through. That burger tasted like what I remember as a kid, not dry, and drippin' in sauce, and of course, delicious.

A Calgary Land Mark! Best thickest milkshakes in Canada, and the burgers are great too. This is a destination to be planned out! No indoor seating but lots of outdoor seating and lots of parking. Worth the wait in line.

Best place in town for milkshakes, ask them to make it thinner if you're using a straw or get a spoon. Usually come here for bike and hot rod nights, always a good gathering place to lots of cool and unique vehicles. Great atmosphere.

Peter's is a Calgary nostalgia hot spot. I love going here. This was a last minute "let's take the girls for a milkshake" trip. It was awesome. I love their bubblegum shakes and their fries are delicious.

Peters drive in has been a local hit for as long as I can remember, my father used to go when he was a teen. In the recent years it has come under new ownership and the quality has decreased but it is still pretty good. I would recomend ordering extra sauce on the burger because they can be quite dry without that. The milkshakes are still the same as they always were.

Leaves a phlegmy aftertaste of, "Wow! That was super gross!" Rude hick town service, soggy fries, greasy congealed meat. About the same as McDonald's but a whole lot more expensive. One star for the milkshakes. Historically a great pit stop for a long haul cross country on the T-can. It's next to a gas station. Still, not the quality you'd expect from a well known fast food place in one of Canada's major cities.

Iconic Drive-In so popular in Calgary that they now have added another location in Red Deer.
For years operated with only cash, it is now possible to pay with Debit. They still do not accept Credit Cards.
For years they operated with hand-written orders and staff calculated totals without the use of electronics. They have finally installed cash registers - revolutionary upgrade!
The menu has not changed much over the years.

Burgers are fresh and made from 100% grade 'A' ground beef.
Buns are made especially for them.
Burgers come with their own special recipe BBQ Sauce.
Hot dogs are made with 100% beef wieners.
If you care about cholesterol - fries and onion rings cooked in premium, cholesterol free, trans-fat free, 100% pure canola oil.
Onion rings are my fave - but always ask for them to be 'well done'.

It's wrong to stop and not enjoy a Milkshake, made of course with real ice cream and real fruit.

If you are visitor to Calgary - this is a fun stop.
They are open at this location DAILY from 9 AM thru Midnight.

This burger place is always busy and has a big line up. The burgers and onion rings tasted decent. The fries was OK. The Milk Shakes are awesome. There were lots of selections for people to pick.

Peter's drive-in is my favorite place for burgers, for milkshakes, and for fries. They serve things EXACTLY how I like it. And their double lane drive-through means things always operate smoothly.

I heard so many good things about petes so I gave it a try. Their milk shakes were good. burgers were small and very greasy. The fries were also greasy. I felt sick all evening. I won't be going back.

This little restaurant is a very busy one of a kind experience, and a must try.
I must begin by saying that the lineups are huge, which usually means the food is good. In this particular case, I agree that the food is good and it is worth the wait. The restaurant itself is like an old fashion diner but there isn't any inside sitting areas, at least to my knowledge. There are sitting areas outside however.
The food in question produces mixed feelings. The burgers are large and messy, which most people don't appreciate, for me however, the messier the better. The milkshakes are to die for... so thick and creamy. Plus, they have tonnes of flavours you can pick from, as well as mix and match.
The cost of the food is surprisingly quite cheap for what you get. Its less expensive than a fast food chain and there will be food left over. The fries taste as if they've been cut fresh on site and you get lots of them.
I will return here when back in town as it is a great experience for a hungry man.

I came across this place by word of mouth. Someone heard that they had fantastic burgers; so I thought, what the heck, lets give them a try.

When I arrived, I was presented with a decent size line - must be good then, right? Nope. I ordered a double burger with cheese, and their small fries. The older woman serving me looked really pissed off, which didn't give me a great impression of their service; but I was there mainly for the food, so whatever.

As soon as I got back into my car, I started digging in, because I was starving. I first tried the french fries, which were hard as rocks, and tasted even worse (if that's possible). I had about 3-4, and then I just put them aside, and reached for the burger.

I opened up the burger, eagerly; and what I found, was a poorly put together slop of a burger. there was ketchup splattered all over half of it, and half of the inside wrapper was also covered in it. By the look of it, the burger had been sitting like this for while (under a heat lamp or something), because the bun was all moist from the ketchup being in contact with it for quite some time. At first look, it was disgusting - even McDonalds puts more effort into their burgers.

After the initial disgust, I finally took a bite. It reminded me of a Mcdonalds burger (microwaved patties), but much much worse. It was by far the worst burger I've had in that past 5 years; and definitely the worst in Calgary.

The strawberry milkshake is fantastic, as are the onion rings. I love that this place stays open late every night, the service is always good and everyone is friendly. A great place to stop on date night!

Horrible customer care. Belittled after advising I have a brain injury with severe conversion disorder. Their horrific customer service lead to my having a seizure episode in their parking lot for 2 hours.
