Its changed a lot. Use to love the burgers and fries. Even the hotdogs seems small and have a funky oily taste. Use to frequent Peter's especially with the kids but now even our teens don't want to go there which is unusual...

The fries aren't perfect, and the burger is a burger, but the milkshakes, oh the milkshakes! There's almost too many flavors to choose from. Just a heads up, it will be busy no matter what time you go, so plan on a 15 minute wait.

I've been coming here for almost 60 years. I no longer live anywhere near Peters, but tonight there was a traffic tie up we were avoiding, and our detour took us right by, so we dropped in for a late supper. It was the first time trying it for about a year. I can't believe how they've actually improved over last time. The burger was fresh and great like always, but the fries now might be the best in Calgary. They appear to be hand cut. Fantastic! I very rarely give 5 stars, but it is deserved in this case. Fast service, friendly staff, lots of condiments, fresh, satisfying, honest, good, food.

massively overrated

massively overrated

Too much mustard

too many LARGE chunks of white onion

bag was messy

Girl that took payment was clueless and gave me a stunned look instead of acknowledging when I said thank you

Boy at least window was brutally unorganized

TLDR= massively overrated and not worth the line up

Peter's has redefined the term "fast food" which their competition has all but forgot. I love their burgers but find them inconsistent. The success of the Peter's burger is the bar-b-que sauce. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much consistency. Sometimes the burgers are dripping in sauce and other times I leave disappointed, with barely a teaspoon of sauce on the burger. Their burgers used to be GST in. If I'm not mistaken in 2017, without announcement they changed to the GST extra model. I'm very happy to see them finally embracing electronic payments but why did they do away with the tap? Every other burger joint has it.

Amazing food. Friendly serivce. It has been a long time since i have had the chance to eat here burgers, fries, onion rings, hotdogs, shakes ( so good ) and 2 drinks for the kids. All of that still came out to less then when we eat at other burger places. Might have to make this a weekly trip. If you have not had the opportunity to stop in i would definitely recommend you do.

Shakes are great, many flavors and generous portions. Service attitude falls short of food quality, but given the price, can't complain. Food (burger) was pretty gross. Stick with the awesome shakes =)

Rudest drive thru attendent ever. Was angry that it was noisy outside while taking our order (it s a drivethru there s going to be noise) and told us we were speaking too quickly after I asked her to repeat the orderly kindly. After she continued to get mad I completed my order and commented on her lack of professional behaviour. I then got whatever as a response back. The most unprofessional behaviour ever from staff. Disappointed in Peters. When reporting her behaviour to the lady at the window, she simply walked away without acknowledging besides saying oh no . The drivethru attendant apologized, however still absolutely a problem. Peters needs to address professionalism and proper attitude with their staff.

Peters Drive in is a must do, especially being a native Calgarian who has been going there for at least 35 years of my life. I will admit the food seemed better in previous years, but is still really good! P. S. If you order the family size fries, you better bring an army of hungry people!

Great assortment of milkshakes and excellent prices for the amount you get. They get really backed up/busy on a sunny day but it's an old Calgary legend. I don't really care for their burgers but it's tradition.

I went to Peter's and had a raspberry sundae and a regular sized cheese burger; all I can say is wow! The sundae blew me away. It was delicious. The ice-cream is very cold, soft, but not too soft, with cold fresh raspberries and real whipped cream. Every bite was fabulous! The burger was tasty. Some burgers are too dry but because of the barbeque sauce (not too spicy), the Peter's burger was just right. I ate every bit and was full afterward; I couldn't have eaten another one, and I ordered the single burger with cheese. I'll be going back for sure. It does have a 50's feel to the place too (like something out of Happy's Days) and that makes it all the better. Order your meal and park in the very large parking lot to munch and chat! You can go through the drive-thru or stand in line order in person. The wait isn't that long; faster than at some coffee shops. It is a busy place and no wonder!
