Peta have been our training partners for a few years and have helped us source and train skilled IT technicians that have become valued members of our team. One of our trainees has been awarded Best in IT at the apprentice of the year awards. The support and training from Peta has been first class.

Joined PETA in late 2017, with the help from John and Andy I was able to complete my Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship. Throughout the Level 3, I achieved five vendor certifications (from Microsoft, BCS and ITIL).

At the end of my Level 3 Apprenticeship, I was offered an oppotunity to progress to a Level 4 Network Engineering Apprenticeship. This was a no-brainer option as I am able to achieve/earn more qualifications and experience which will allow me to progress through the ranks of the IT Industry alot faster.

I thank PETA for helping me kickstar my career and I recomend PETA to anyone who is looking into apprenticeships (hiring and becoming an apprentice).

I would recommend Peta to anyone looking to take on an Apprentice. Over the past couple of years not only has our apprentice been great but the structure and quality of the Peta training and support for both the apprentice and me as the employer has been superb. I am looking forward to taking on another apprentice with them early next year.

We have worked with PETA to hire and train software development apprentices for coming up to 2 years. Having had bad experiences with a previous apprenticeship consultant, working with PETA has been a dramatic improvement in terms of quality and professionalism.

PETA is a brilliant training provider, and have not only helped me to win their regional Apprentice of the Year Best in Class for Business, but have enabled me to go on to win the GTA England National Apprentice of the Year Award for Business Services. They have made me realize that the opportunities provided by Apprenticeship s are endless.

PETA were their to help every step of the way-before, during and even after my Apprenticeship. My assessor came into my work place every 6 weeks to help me with my coursework and track my progress through the course. I also regularly attended training days in their training centers which gave me the skills and knowledge required to pass my course. Their standard of training is excellent, and my assessor was only an email or phone call away if I had any questions.

What makes PETA a unique training provider is that they recognize and celebrate your achievements in the course. They are excellent and I would recommend anyone looking into an Apprenticeship to give them a call.

Today I visited the PETA apprenticeship open day, taking time out of my 1 day off this week in hopes to find a better career option than my current position. They had a range of apprenticeship roles available in areas I have had previous experience in. One that stood out to me was one for a CNC machinist, for an undisclosed company working in Tangmere.

While I understand with an apprenticeship the idea is that you receive training along with the job, however CNC operation is not a skill that must be rigourously taught in an academic manor. Working with modern 3/4 axis machinery can be incredibly simple, and mastered in a matter of months. But PETA would have you commit to 18 months, at this rate of pay, at the same company. This sort of apprenticeship is more like a slave labour contract that allows companies to exploit young people and government loopholes to make higher profits. I'm sure PETA gets a hefty kickback from filling these roles.

I don't usually leave Google reviews, but I personally think that conning young people out of a fair paycheck and a chance to learn and grow freely (which can often mean changing company or field, something not available once you have signed away 18 months of the most valuable time of your life). I am only giving this review 2 stars as the staff were friendly and polite, however I was truly sickened by the idea of a more naive individual falling into one of their traps.

I implore all young people to avoid this company and any positions they may advertise. For there is much better out there in life. Paying 4.92 an hour should be criminal, it is only due to the abuse of the apprenticeship scheme they can offer you so little.

I would like to say that I have completed 4 out of the 5 courses so far for my Level 3 Infrastructure Apprenticeship and have been fantastic. They DO NOT train to just pass an exam, they train you to use the skills, abilities and technological knowledge that you can use in your job and industry practices.

All the lecturers for the courses are incredibly supportive throughout the whole course and apprenticeship scheme. They show true willingness and passion for their job and the course subject. The course lecturers are happy to support after course hours to any queries or questions relating to the course.

The PETA Charity Institution, provide a wide range of learning resources during and also out of hours from the course. This includes but is not limited to the following, online work labs, topic review questions, group activities, independent work and engaging quizzes.

I would highly recommend the training and course variety here to anyone wishing to start, progress in their career or to gain a better understanding and practical awareness of a particular course that inspires them.

I have been with PETA for 3 years, completing level 2 and level 3 apprenticeships in IT. During this time I was assigned a tutor who was very interested and supportive in helping me to complete the coursework and exams needed for me to pass both apprenticeships. The courses were challenging at times, but the trainers were patient with explaining the course material, and ensuring that I had a good understanding of the content. I will hopefully be returning to PETA in the future to complete more courses, and would recommend PETA to anyone looking to undertake an apprenticeship.

I was an apprentice at PETA for 4 years, they have an excellent team and provided me with a well structured learning path. My trainer was always there for support if needed. Highly recommended for those wanting an alternative from the normal university route.

Couldn't be more thank full for all the support i received from PETA, from the moment i signed up with them to help with finding an apprenticeship that would suit me best to then starting my new role and doing training at their center which led me to achieving a distinction. So happy to have been offered a full time job after my apprenticeship and continue to be apart of the PETA family.
