Extremely nice and helpful staff. Went in to get a bike fixed a year ago, have been going since and have since bought a bike from them. No complaints at all and don't forsee myself going anywhere else.

Well....minor problem with my chain and gears on way home.
Walked in off the street.
Politely directed to the lads at the back in workshop.
Gentleman of a man said no worries.
Quickly found the problem .... fixed it.
Cleaned my chain a bit for me and stuck some air in the tyres.

5 mins of his time and bike perfect again.
With no charge.
Just polite chat and smile as I went

Worst bike shop experience I ve had in Dublin. The staff was very unkind and not professional. After speaking to a few guys who clearly where just there to sell brand new bikes because they had zero clue about technical questions, I asked kindly to speak to the mechanic of the shop (I m a bike mechanic myself) and mocking me one of the guys pretends to be the mechanic and simply says no . Shameful behaviour and completely lack of respect to the client. Avoid at all cost.

Fixed my tyre but badly damaged the pedal! I only realised it after I left the shop on the way to work. Waited 10mins after opening hours, for it to open... running late to work as a result

Excellent customer service and friendly, helpful staff. I had my bike in for a small repair which they sorted out straight away, and was on my way again within 5 minutes. Would highly reccomend!

Top lads, all of them. Have bought two bikes from them so far. Personal attention is exemplary. One of the guys remembered me from 5 years ago! Went in recently looking to buy new cleats, but they gave me the missing part on my old cleat for free saving me about 50. Great selection of bikes and accessories. The sales guys on the floor are really knowledgeable, approachable, attentive and in no way will pressure you into anything.

Just dropped in on the spot in the hope of getting an annoying problem with my saddle fixed. Lad in the workshop absolutely sound, and refused to take any money for sorting it. In and out in 5 minutes, couldn't praise them enough.

Amazing shop! Had to get a brand new VanMoof repaired and they were quick to fix it and the staff also super friendly. They even finished assembling my bike. Can t recommend it enough!

Best bicycle shop in town. My wheel was wobbling after a bad job done in in a different bike shop, and the staff corrected the wheel free of charge. They have an excellent attitude and have been super helpful to me on many occasions.

I went in to Penny Farthing Cycles today as I had a number of problems with my bike... The shop was really busy but when I came into the shop one of the lads working there approach me to find out if he could help me. I explained to him that the brakes and gears were not working properly and that the wheels on the bike had slight buckles that needed to be fixed. I received great advice and professional service and was able to collect my bike the same day..... I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to get there bike serviced or looking for any advice on bikes.

Bought a Giant Defy 3 on the bike to work scheme of these guys last year and couldn't fault them. Great service from start to finish. Great choice of bikes and always return for any accessories I need. Have been back twice for full bike service and work always completed to highest standard. Would definitely recommend them.

I live on the Northside and exclusively visit this shop for all my bike needs anyway. They are friendly, well informed and willing to help with whatever you need. Over 4 years in dealing with them and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Obviously I highly recommend these gentlemen. Stop searching, and go already.

Great service and very well priced. Usually same day turnaround which is very handy when sorting out commuter bike. Gave me a loaner wheel to keep me going while mine was rebuilt with new spokes for very reasonable money. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff, mad into bikes!

Went to ask for help fitting new tyres I had bought online: Ben sorted me out. No questions asked and it only took 5 minutes. Excellent service!

These guys are legends. Shop was closed but they still brought out a pump for me for my front Tyre. Great customer service...

Good selection of home mechanic tools and staff seem willing to supply parts if you want to fit these yourself. However, be cautious of the insincere niceties of staff. Based on price comparisons with another bike retailers, Penny Farthing charges 14% more for home mechanic tools and 20% more for bike parts. I cannot account for service repair costs by Penny Farthing but would recommend you price compare with other bicycle shops before you purchase accessories/parts or give your bike to Penny Farthing for repairs/service.

Nice shop, friendly service, but pricing of accessories needs to be watched and compared to online offers. A bit peeved having paid 170 for shoes and pedals I could have got online at a discounted price for less than 100. I like to support small businesses but this is going a bit far.

I travelled from tallaght to this shop as I have heard good things about them.
I bought three bikes today, one for me and two for my son's who's birthdays are close together, soon to be 4 yrs and 6yrs of age. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and knew exactly what bike I wanted without hesitating after I explained my cycling needs. My sons got bikes that perfectly fit them. They gave me a good deal on the three bikes, one being the brand new trek ds 2.
I also had brought my eldest sons, (13 yrs old), bike in to get repaired as my wife had a well known call out mechanic on Facebook attempt to fix it before Christmas. He made a pig of the bike and left it dangerous.
I collected the bike later that night from penny farthing and the guys in the workshop had done extra work on the bike free of charge as they felt sorry for me getting shafted by the mechanic on Facebook.
They even knocked a couple of bob off the service price as I had bought 3 bikes off them that day.
It was a lovely gesture and things like that matter. I wouldn't buy a bike anywhere else and all future servicing will be done here.
I'll be back again in October for another bike.

I purchased a bike from Penny Farthing a few months ago. The bike was a present for a friend and while I was unsure of just what I wanted the staff were very helpful and patient and the range available made my indecision a nil point.
When I did decide to purchase a bike they gave me a very competitive price.
My friend has been really happy with the bike and I know that he has also been very happy with the follow up service he has received.

A colleague recommended Penny Farthing to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone purchasing a bicycle in Dublin.
