I am an employee of this company and have been here almost a year. I come from 8 years of staffing from another staffing agency and honestly Grus has by far exceeded my expectations when it comes to the way they handle their employees and clients. They are very transparent when it comes to pay, per diem and client expectations. Just like every agency, we are unable to control client needs or job site changes. Also, the best thing about our agency is that we do everything over the phone! How great is it to be able to interview without having to go physically into an office and go through an hour long process of paperwork just to never be called?! This agency will contact you about anything that opens in your trade.

As for reviews as working as an employee here, I feel like the training for working here is tough and very thorough, but if you can t handle constructive criticism and someone overseeing your work until you get it, then you definitely won t make it working here. But that should be the case for any company. I love the people I work with and honestly we all work cohesively.

I am a current employee at Grus of over 4 years. I gave us 4 stars because I put on my realist hat and realize we all can improve. The construction industry itself is intrinsically chaotic, ever changing and always evolving. I do my part there to give a worker a realistic outlook of what he or she should expect from taking a skilled construction position, while also working with our team to exceed a client's expectations of the worker we will send. I appreciate being a catalyst to help projects be completed, and listen as America's infrastructure is being built and renovated. Grus is a family owned national staffing firm. If you want to work there you will need thick sales skin because you will communicate with many clients or workers who may not be in need or qualified. Honesty goes a long way in this industry.
