Total nightmare got pulled over with expired sticker when i had legally applied for new registration at AAA ! Game fish commission fined me $164 !! for nothing What Jerks its about the money not safety . Then i find out they screwed up title want me to send title back to issue a new one. months later no sticker afraid to use boat .in Maryland go to the courthouse walk out with sticker for $16 not in Pa its $80 and still no proper title or sticker .

There was a officer at the ramp at West Fairview. I think these guys have the best job in the world. He acted like he was secret service and I was a threat to national security. Not cool and uncalled for.

Got a fine 125 for not having a life jacket in the shallow end of confluence river lake didn't even get a warning both me and my wife you hired the worst cops they where completely disrespectful felt harrassed thinking I should just sue

So, tried to buy a launch permit online. The form doesn t work. Oh, excuse me, when I called Harrisburg to tell them it doesn t work, I was informed that it is not a form, it is an application. Not only did the form not work but the form to report problems also didn t work.

So if I get cited for not having a launch permit, I will fight it on the basis that it isn t possible to get a launch permit and that Harrisburg staff cannot help and are unwilling to help.

Felt harassed and belittled by an officer in Southern Bucks County for parking in a public area next to the Delaware river where he claimed I was not allowed to park, though absolutely no signs indicated this law. My car was not even turned off before he was approaching us and giving me a citation. He said aggressively that he never gave warnings and gave my friend and myself two options of either citing both of us or we could stand there in front of him and decide which one of us gets cited, which to me seemed unprofessional and just plain cruel. From reading these other reviews it sounds to me like this department, which is supposed to be an asset to the public, has some major issues with misuse of authority.

This department needs serious rehab. The time it takes to process paperwork is ridiculous. You need to fire the old bags that are snotty on the phone with you and replace them with younger people that can actually multitask. Answer phones and process paperwork. Waiting 45 days for a title to be issued is absurd.

Not sure why the negative reviews.. I drove from Philadelphia to register several kayaks and other boats and walked out in 10min from start to finish with new stickers in hand!! Hummm???

This organization needs additional funding. I lost my boating certification and the only way to receive a replacement is to mail a form and wait 6 weeks. There is no option to order online or by phone, nor is there an option to receive a temporary replacement certification (the one that's emailed to you after you complete the course expires 60 days after you take the test).

It's the 21st century. Why isn't there an option to order online? At the very least people should be able to request and receive temporary certs via email while they wait 6 weeks for a new card. I'm willing to bet the people who work here are fully aware of this, but given that millionaires and corporations need more tax cuts, the government can't spare a few thousand dollars to hire a web dev.

There's no reason for the Pa fish and boat commission officers to approach my boat and harrass me and my family when we are doing nothing wrong and trying to enjoy a decent day of boating, I docked my boat and went to my truck to grab an anchor and when I came back they were onboard checking everything they could trying to find something to write me ticket for. They were arrogant and unprofessional.

They're doing their best, but they didn't reply to my concerns about the degradation of the native trout at Segloch run
