One of the oldest and busiest stations in Calvert County. There service provided by this 100% volunteer organization is exceptional. The recent upgrades to the station and equipment making is a very interesting place to visit and tour.
They had an event today for breakfast with the Easter bunny. I have brought my daughter, Fiance & 3 kids & my 12 year old nephew. The Kids were 4$ to get in for food, Adults were 7$ . They told me that my nephew who is 12 years old who kinda still believes in the Easter bunny & who has autism, They told me at 12 years old that there an ADULT so I had pay 7$ for him not counting that he didnt even get TICKIT for grabbing the EGGS! I'm sorry but a 12 year old is NOT AN ADULT! 18 is! & the lady with the short hair , in the front was extremely rude & told all the kids they were aloud to grab an egg till they ate, & told us just grab 2 dont shuffle them around & be picky . They didnt have no crafts for the kids but coloring, the other fire department had Easter egg dying & legit station to take photos. My whole family was very disappointed by age limit!! I wish I known this was gonna happen cuz I would definitely go to the st leanord fire depot next time. Maybe next time when they advertise the crafts & egg hunt & ages, maybe put it out there. instead of showing up to find out.
