On April 7, 2019 a 911 call was called in at 12:30 p.m. for a 83 yr. old woman in respiratory failure and unresponsive. Whte Rose ambulance arrived at the nursing home at 1:45 p.m.. That was 75 minutes later, I know because I got to the nursing home at 1:00 p.m. and I looked at the clock when they came through the door. By the time they pulled off it was after 2:00 p.m. Why did it take that long for them to show up? My mother was unconscious and turning yellow when I got there at 1:00 p.m., she was already dying. She died 16 days later at the hospital, April 23. I blame the nursing home for waiting that long to send her to the hospital and the ambulance co. for taking 75 minutes to respond to someone in respiratory failure. By the way the nursing home was not in the wilderness but in York County PA.
