Every time I come here and buy tickets I am stunned by the incompetence! The will call booth also sells tickets so it completely pointless to buy them using will call. The lines form up at each window...PSYCH thenoinenyou are is sharing one open booth. This is astounding.

One of the best venues for trade shows in the country. Extremely clean and very well managed building the is the size of a professional ballpark. Easy access from the regional train line and SEPTA transit. I've been there for the Auto Show, Flower show and other conventions and I'm always amazed how well the shows are managed.

This place is amazing to host a conference! The variety of locations, space and opportunity for local eateries was great. The only reason I didn't give give stars is because parking in the area is fairly limited and the garages are quite pricey.

A very spacious facility covering several city blocks. Prepare to walk a lot if you are attending a conference. Restrooms are old and in need of refurbishment. The food catering was average.

The convention center had so many issues for our STEM Forum Expo. Wi-fit rarely worked, bathrooms weren't attended to, no water provided, and the sessions were spread so far apart that it was hard to arrive to each one in a timely manner. Colleagues and I were frequently approached by homeless people as well.

I only come here for the Philly Auto Show, which keeps declining every year. The crowds get out of hand and the cars keep diminishing. There's a reason they add local car clubs to this event because it's a filler. I've seen kids climbing around the cars, ripping shift knobs and emblems, sticking candy in the interiors and sitting on the hood of cars. No wonder the exotic cars are roped off. And I also don't blame Cadillac for not participating. Security don't do anything. People lack common courtesy when you're trying to look at a car or take a pic. If you're a true gearhead, go to a smaller, local car show.

Went to the Philadelphia Flower Show for the first time. The displays were amazing. I love cactus, orchids and succulents as well as outdoor garden design. This exhibition had plenty of those. It made my heart sing. My husband even said he would like to return in the future and now understood why I was so eager to come all that distance to see plants.

Entrance from the train station is direct and very much appreciated. The center is entirely spacious (even when crowded), is impressively large, and I easy to navigate. Stairs, escalators, and even elevators make traveling between sections a breeze. Though, I didn't notice any map (physical or digital), making it possible to get lost of you don't know where you're going/are.

This convention center is not the best. Despite looking new and being fairly well designed, the staff and surrounding environment leave much to be desired. I saw employees sleeping in public areas, playing games on their phones, in filthy uniforms passing food and bartenders openly soliciting tips during planned events where tips were included. There is an overall lack of work ethic within the staff.

Coming and going to this convention center is downright scary. There are homeless people sheltering around entrances, defacating on sidewalks and doing drugs openly. It doesn't feel safe.

Finally, unions have a stronghold here, making things more complicated and expensive all around.

It's a union shop, so if you're an exhibitor, you'll pay out the nose for everything - hundreds of dollars for plugging and unplugging a few electrical cords because you're hiring professional electricians at inflated union wages and paying for 30 minutes on tasks that take about 1 or 2 minutes. To those who plan conventions: keep your vendors/exhibitors happy and more willing to return by selecting non-union venues when there's a choice, as places like this make us less likely to want to return or more likely to choose smaller booth sizes to offset.
