A beautiful and wonderful guesthouse! Always good company. The center is Serene and inviting. The food is simple and delicious! The rooms are cozy. Stay a long while. Heal your body. Heal your mind. Heal your soul!

This is a beautiful monastery. If you happen to be the only one, or one of two people here, you have the pleasure of eating with the monks in silence, and it's a very unique and wonderful experience. A very loving and welcoming community

A blessed place in which to get away from the noise of the world, and contemplate--the mysteries of the Rosary, the Eucharist daily, sacred scripture, and God's beauty of creation in the mountains of Pecos, New Mexico. Spent a week there in the Hermitages. Had utmost privacy, and was able to form my own personal retreat. The most wonderful, prayerful experience to seek the face of God without the distractions of modern society. The monks and priests were there to offer counsel, too if requested.

A beautiful place to reflect on your life. Serenity, peace and calm prevail. The priests and monks are very open and pleasant to talk with. And the homemade food is great while being healthy. Spent almost 5 days there, walking and sitting by the river. Cannot wait to make another private retreat.

Wonderful place for a retreat. Beautiful grounds. Very quiet and secluded in a beautiful environment with beautiful pathways for prayer and reflection. The Monks are very helpful in your spiritual journey. I highly recommend this place. Been here many times and love it!

Saint Paul about those who love self, money and it s seen in their actions: it s just a superficial faith, a superficial God. He tells Timothy to avoid them, because they are superficial people. Prices for retreatments are expensive; and Sunday Mass sermons are shallow, topical homilies that massage people s egos and focus on fairly insipid subjects like human relationships, "successful" living, emotional issues, and other worldly themes. These messages without substance, are really cheap leaving little more than an ephemeral impression on the minds of the congregation.
