Saint Paul about those who love self, money and it s seen in their actions: it s just a superficial faith, a superficial God. He tells Timothy to avoid them, because they are superficial people. Prices for retreatments are expensive; and Sunday Mass sermons are shallow, topical homilies that massage people s egos and focus on fairly insipid subjects like human relationships, "successful" living, emotional issues, and other worldly themes. These messages without substance, are really cheap leaving little more than an ephemeral impression on the minds of the congregation.
