Great place for couples, The hotel is a little bit cramped but the beach is excellent and clear water. There also offer complimentary recreational activities at the Hotel.

Lovely place for no staff to talk about wonderful food great people with the variety of themed dishes every night
A very nice hotel with nice workers! Great selection of food, i still miss your indian spices haha
The place is nice and cosy. Good for children to spend time. But the only thing which was not appealing was food. There were not a variety of foods and at times we were bored eating it.
Quiet beach nice restaurant great cocktail on the beach
Beautiful hotel... clean and comfortable. Service is awesome. Friendly environment. Sea activities are rocking. Food also delicious. Overall, great hotel!
During our stay on the island, it was Pearl Beach that my fiance chose for his marriage proposal.
The hotel staff are just exceptional!
I have a primary affection for NITISH who organized everything down to the smallest detail, with great professionalism, to make this an unforgettable evening.
The hotel is very clean, the rooms very comfortable and the food is very good.
We spent a few exceptional days with this wonderful team
Very nice hotel, had an awesome experience in here. The buffet is really nice!
Highly recommended.
Great staff, nice rooms and awesome view. Only minus in my book is the constant loud music at the pool.
No good welcome
No good service
Went there for lunch and I just loved it. It was a buffet lunch and the food was yummy. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I went there for my birthday and they surprised me with a birthday song
Rooms, pool area and food was fairly good. Service was not great and many staff members were not friendly and unhelpful. Everything is overpriced. Music is also too loud at night and I could not sleep.
It's a very bad hotel... Nothing good here.. Reception ladies are not at all helpful. They will not respond you properly. For small small things people has to run for facility or house keeping but they will work at their pace.
They have mentioned free WiFi it's wrong..you can only access wifi from reception area
Please don't opt this if you bwish to visit Mauritius
"Quarantine" My stay at the hotel allowed me to discover more the Mauritian culture during this difficult period (COVID) I will not complain, because during it is 14 days the welcome was pleasant, the service very good because they were all always attentive and available. The room is warm. Employees always courteous. Thank you to all of you (IQBAL and NITISH) and good luck. Room 216 Living room - 25 Jan 2021 to 8 Feb 2021. The lady of Trou aux Biches Ms. Louis
The hotel itself is laid out like a semicircle, with the reception, restaurants and the pool in the middle. Everything looks very elegant and stylish, it starts with the unique view from the reception over the pool, then the sea with the bay Tamarin and then on the Le Morne Brabant! Everything is therefore in max. 2 min walking distance. We were from our room 205 in 30 seconds at the beach or pool. With only 98 rooms, the hotel complex is very well arranged, even in the evening at the buffet or at the pool / beach it never seemed overcrowded, only once at 10 o'clock you couldn't get a lounger on the beach. Deduction for cleanliness, we saw 2 cockroaches on the floor once at dinner, and every now and then there was bird droppings on the chairs. But not so wild, cockroaches don't stick to stars and at breakfast you get an insight into the Mauritian ornithology;)
Hardly any families with children, the hotel is not very child-friendly due to the lack of facilities - whether a curse or a blessing, you have to make the decision yourself :)
In the beginning there were mostly older guests, after a week the relationship was more balanced. Otherwise the guests were very pleasant, no loud or noisy
The location is very quiet because the Sands is the last hotel in a row and the street ends there. The disadvantage is that e.g. Can't buy water within walking distance. A much bigger disadvantage is the heliport behind the hotel, a helicopter lands and takes off there 2-3 times a day, which can be quite annoying at 8 a.m.
Breakfast was okay, lots of fresh fruit, cereals, omelets, juices, etc. to choose from. Unfortunately only boiled ham and the coffee wasn't that great ... We had half board, at lunchtime a pizza for two is easily enough, it costs around 8 EUR and is quite large and good. Alternatively, the sandwiches with fries are good too!
So far everything is very good, sailing, pedal boats, water skiing + wakeboarding, snorkeling, surfing - all included!
The beach is beautiful and is well-kept, as almost everywhere in Mauritius you should wear bathing shoes if you want to splash around in the water undisturbed. But you can also do without it, if you swim properly :)
The rooms are very nice and large, well equipped, clean and well-kept. Except for Euronews, no German channels. There is a German power plug on the table. Be careful with the refrigerator, as a beer can often fall out. And the power cable was already sticking out of one of the lamps.
ATTENTION: when booking, insist on a room in the south-east wing, the beach is not that nice there, but you have a sunset view and more peace and quiet in front of the band - it was sometimes very loud in our wing!
- Shopping: Wolmar is closer, but we were always in Flic-en-Flac because we walked there (approx. 45 min), and then back by taxi (approx. 3 EUR) - the drivers are used to that, when someone is driven to the hotel with 24 bottles of water and a couple of beers.
- Excursions: we only booked the dolphin tour (organizer from Flic-en-Flac, as it is cheaper at 20 EUR p.p.!) And the south tour organized. About the south tour: The price is okay, because with good food + entrance fees, but you don't stop at the beautiful curve in the south and drive past the large temple in Grand Bassin.
- Taxi tours: ask a driver from Flic-en-Flac, these are much cheaper than those waiting at the hotel. For 40 EUR you get a fancy taxi, you are driven and all the sights are explained - better than a rental car (same money, left-hand traffic!) And cheaper than an organized tour (approx. 75 EUR - p.p.!)
- Casela Bird Park: is relatively close, you should definitely do the "Walk with the Lions". Be there at 9 o'clock (possibly make a reservation beforehand) and then go for a walk for 2 hours with 2 lions and guides - very impressive, you have to have done it!
As a off the street visitor the drinks here were cheaper than the pubs along the beach in flic n flac. Amazing environment to enjoy a few drinks. Would love to stay here one day.
Due to the pandemic going on worldwide, Pearle Beach Resort is working closely with the Mauritian authority to accommodate locals and tourists in a very safe manner. My 2 weeks quarantaine is coming to the end and I would like to thank all the crew who are working very hard, day and night to make the quarantine system safe. There is a reason why Mauritius is one of the safest country to be right now. Thank you Jenita, Iqbal, Nitish and the Chef for your service. I will be back.
Fantastic staff at the top smile kindness professionalism
The hotel is one of the best I can only recommend, the staff was always very attentive and courteous, the room was big enough, nice pool and also the beach. Glass bottom boat was offered for free for everyone who didn't want to snorkel or couldn't snorkel. I can with a clear conscience recommend
Love the seaside from the hotel..nice service friendly staffs..tasty food..
Home chalereux, open buffet, service and very good atmosphere
Very good location beautiful beach nice rooms attentive staff
superb place for relaxation with perfect service and very friendly personal
Small fine hotel right on the beach. Breakfast modest and lack of vegetables and fresh things. The dinner is very good and varied. Nice and attentive staff. The beach section is very narrow and you can enter the sea through the many corals and sea urchins only with bathing shoes or fins. Bus lines go to the cities right in front of the hotel and are well-marked and very reasonably priced. We had promised ourselves more from Mauritius. Culture or sights we have not discovered and the boat tours are the pure Touristenverarsche.
Very pleasant little place with a warm welcome. Just a minor downside in terms of infrastructure maintenance. Otherwise I had a great time.
It is in a great location and has a beautiful sea view. Start with compliments for the never intrusive and always engaging animation: thanks to Giulia, Carlo, Fabio and the "international" guys. Then, if you need info More
Mr Raja is kind. He made my stay more enjoyable. The place is beautiful. Frankly better than Anelia resort and spa. You should try it.
Have a wonderful moment there with my love. The food was great despite it was an opened with the theme Italian. Pleasant atmosphere and the service was excellent.
The Pearl Beach Hotel was the first of 2 hotels we visited in Flic and Flac.
A good 3 star hotel for the price top
Perfect when you travel a lot.
Hotel beach is rather narrow and a number of hotels, actually always something free. Attention, water shoes are a must !!!! Stonefish and sea urchins are numerous!
Hotel had a nice view of the sea so book with a sea view. You can see the sunset very nicely. (Attention there is also a house on the other side of the street) that I would not recommend, directly on the street.
Food is in buffet form, ok but not the best either. But ok for the price!
There are 100 local food stalls next door, which are certainly an alternative for lunch.
There is a terrace so all meals can be enjoyed right by the sea.
A diving school (a well-known bigger one from the place) is also directly at the hotel. However, we have preferred a German language from Flic and flac.
Animation is funny but subtle, you are not forced or something;)
Rooms were clean.
All in all, I can recommend it centrally and well connected.
Stayed October 2016
Positiva: right on the reptiles, spacious room (2 washbasins in the bathroom and a large and comfortable mattress)
Negatives: hotel for "Egyptian" guest (fat, all day on the couch, burned back, unmarried), at the reception nepysyslejici service, unpleasant odor in the dining room, variability of meals for breakfast, in the vicinity of the hotel minimal sance to naveceret normal quality.
The wifi does not work in the room
Just got back from here absolutely fantastic hotel is gorgeous with a location to die for the view from our room 308 was amazing opening the curtains in a morning to a view of the Indian Ocean is something we'll never foget. The staff More
What a show. Small but well-kept resort, very kind staff, guys cooking here you eat DIVINELY, the chef of veraclub Italian guy cooks amazing so if you care about the line change village. Very nice rooms with each comfortable and very very clean and spacious. Unfortunately the beach has few umbrellas and few sunbeds but this takes a back seat because everything else is impeccable. Brava Veraclub good Pearle Beach Resort. Matteo Leardini
We had a wonderful honeymoon, you must go there.Cleanliness and good food diversify.the animations at the top.super well placed and there is the beach in the hotel.Take these meals watching the ocean and the sunsets and just idillic.
AND ESPECIALLY A BIGGER WHICH DOES ALL the employees of the hotel are friendly and we had a big crush.
Thanks to Patrice and those colleagues who gave us a little punch.
At Sandhya, which brighten up our breakfast and lunch, and Jenny who is great and her colleagues, we did not remember all the names that made us shine our evenings.
This hotel has a soul thanks to them
Thank you to all of you. Room 409
Fantastic.... had a great time with friends and family.... Special Thanks to Nitish and Viraj.....
We have been coming to Mauritius for 3 years for work and we know a lot of people as we employ more than 30 Mauritians.
Being Associate Director of the CALL Center we come twice a year and this is the first and last time we will stay at the Pearl Beach Hotel.
Poor reception, no welcome drink and, worse, no towel to cool off after 16 hours of travel.
No internet in the room although I had to specify that we were coming for the bisness. their magic sentence: no worries. During the first 3 days they made me believe that they were going to put the Internet in my room but after this time they told me to put myself on the terrace in the full sun on all fours to be able to work very good working conditions .
, as we came for work, I had taken the trip on half board knowing that there were evenings when we would be invited to our Mauritian friends with whom we work so we had asked that the meals not taken be removed on the note at the end of the stay thing that was granted by the girls at the reception and surprise at the end of our stay all this was not done so words words words.
Mr. Fodar, the so-called director of the establishment, a person known to our friends even from the same family, did not even take the time to talk to me to meet me no politeness no savoir vivre.
After explaining our stay to several of our Mauritian friends they told us that this hotel was really poorly attended and poorly managed so he would recommend going elsewhere next time.
On the other hand I would like to thank the staff who clean the rooms and Juliana and Julie who served us with a smile throughout our meals, thank you to them and a pity that she works in such a rotten establishment.
signed room 111
Love it. Food is top... hospitality 10 out of 10...simply very good
small hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant with delicious local and Italian dishes, poor table service, all inclusive with paid alcohol (excluding local beer). I found the staff on site and the animation of the veratour very efficient.
shallow beach full of dead coral pieces, but well equipped, however flic en flac beach is kilometers long and a place to take a decent swim is easily found. free excursions and snorkeling to the reef, such as skating and kayaking. hot humid climate, with rain clouds every day, fortunately, otherwise the austral summer punishes you. the coral reef is suffering from climate change and is shrinking.
overall positive experience, money well spent, even considering the parsaging beauty of mauritius
The staff are friendly and helpful. But you can tell that this is saved everywhere. For once is ok. Twice I do not have to have this.
Food is baaaaaaaad !
Pooooor activity !
Absolutely not recommended...
Staff is cool
Very expensive to eat there. But if you can afford their prices food pretty good
Veratour staff truly exceptional, the animator Alessia was very kind and the chef Paolo very nice. For the rest there is not much to say ... Magnificent view and panorama, I recommend going there during the Mauritius winter, corresponding to our summer.
The only thing I regret is I went there for only 1 day! Nice welcome from the staff. The rooms are in good condition and clean. I chose the Deluxe Superior Room and had an amazing view of the sea.
We went as a couple and on the All Inclusive package. The food was really good, there was a variety to choose from including healthy and vegetarian food. (Vegetarians will not get stuck with salads here). The waiters and barmen were friendly and always ready to attend.
There was Sega night when we went there, after dinner we sat and enjoyed the show which to our surprise was not just a show, the presenter tells you a bit about the history of Sega and instruments used. Towards the end the Sega dancers invite you to dance and they even teach you a couple of moves before ending the show with everyone dancing.
We enjoyed the swimming pool, nice walks on the beach, the beautiful sunrise and sunset. We had an amazing surprise there, on the departure date while we were checking out, the receptionist told us that Udit Narayan (World Famous Indian Playback Singer) was coming to the hotel.
Awesome staff with plenty of smiles to go for everyone, perfect location right on the beach, good food, beachvolley +++ Absolutely a place to visit!:)
We are absolutely excited. That was the best holiday in our lives. The staff friendly and accommodating. The service is just awesome. Defects will be rectified immediately. The location of the hotel is also a dream. I can only recommend!
Customer service is very bad ... duty managers are helpless .. the rooms and furniture are very very old... the toilet room smells bad.. even when my room safe was not working and i called reception to open the safe for me they said sorry the manager is in a meeting youll have to wait ... the parking spaces closest the resort entrance are reserved for the managment team of the hotel so guests have to park in the far parking spaces to leave space for the resort staff... to be clear ... this resort ruined my vacation. I even had to carry some of my luggage to my room when i checked in. Such a disappointment.
NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
POOR SERVICE, DISAPPOINTED.. Do not waste your money at Pearl beach Mauritius, it's not worth it. Spent so much money and got the same food everyday. Booked the hotel online and when I reached after a long flight they made me wait for so long to check in.. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS
Very nice place staffing and food. Had a very nice time
My friends and i went their to celebrate our birthdays. The only things that were nice abt this "hotel" was the waiters, the view and the bar. The food was horrendous.I got served a piece of raw chicken. There is no variety. The Chefs i so want to know from which culinary school you graduated from.On their website they mentioned international cuisine. What a joke. Your local snack has better food than there i swear.
We had to carry our own luggages to our room. When we had issues no help was given. There is only one pedalo boat and one kayak available. Its the worst place i stayed at.4Stars what a joke. This place deserves 2 stars at most. Totally not worth the price. Totally would not recommend. Just stay at home.
Beautiful hotel. Right next to the beach. So far my stay is great.
Very nice hotel.
Same staff
VERY good situation
30 meters from the sea
Really to recommended
My first visit to the original hotel was in 1995 and another 3 times there after ending in 2004.
It was always the lowest price for the best deals, the locals of the island also stayed at the hotel.
Some used the conference facilities and spa.
It started out where you had to walk to nearest small shop for drinks and eats, which was more than a 20min walk and then over the years the shops moved closer.
The hotel eventually also got a whole new make over.
My friends Paul and Susan went there for their Honeymoon in 2015 and from the photos and feedback of their great stay it still is a Great hotel to have a holiday at.
You WILL experience the best sunsets from the west side of the island.
You also have a great beach to walk for some exercise or just to meet new people from the other hotels.
So treat yourself for a few days of fun and relaxing in the sun.
Had a poor start. Arrived at the property at 10 pm. Was advised that due to a problem they needed to put me up in a sister property next door. I informed I would have none of it. Within 30 mins they found a room for me. Things are getting better since. Room was better than expected. Will update before I checkout. I'm here for 6 nights.
Very good resort with good food and helpful staff specially Laxmi at reception and chef Rajat .
Great hotel, where you can get more out of it, especially in terms of management. Rooms are spacious and beautiful.
We spent a week-end there for our honeymoon...it was great. ..nice staffs..very caring..really tasty food...good service..
1st day .. top
Staff pro.
Food good.Management top.
Looking forward to day 2.
Very nice hotel. The staff always tried hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Great loungers both at the pool and on the beach. The reception upon arrival was very warm and relaxed. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready until 2 p.m. But we had the opportunity to change and enjoy the morning at the pool / beach. Many leisure activities are offered.
The hotel comes highly recommended.
Unfortunately the pool area is filled with music all day.
One of the reason to love Mauritius is Pearle Beach resort. The staffs are always with a smiling face greeting you time to time. The Pool is as clear as ice. The beach touches the Resort. Sunset is beautiful and can be seen from the balcony of the sea-facing rooms. The food is awesome. Wi-fi is bit slow but its good since we are in vacation with our loved ones, so talk to each other ;-). The resort provides you free beach towels and water activities that makes your vacation memorable. The room service people are equally good in their work and made our honeymoon as comfortable as we wished. (Feb, 2016)
Beautiful place . Small hotel, what is a great advantage. Starting point for a lot of nature, mountains, Monkeys... All rooms have seaview and are well kept. Be careful not to book the budget option. Better book yourself....
