When it comes to tourist resorts in Pakistan, one of the tourist resorts that really stands out in terms of scenery and luxury is the Pearl Continental Hotel in Bhurban. Situated about 9 kilometers from Murree, Bhurban is a small town. The main feature of this beautiful hilly town is the presence of the magnificent Pearl Continental Hotel. This 5-star hotel provides some of the best views and is surely a pretty good place to spend your vacations.

The location makes this PC stand out among all its siblings across the country. Food, though expensive, is good. If you are here with your partner enjoy the outdoors and have loads of photographs with scenic backgrounds.

It was fun staying here but I can't give it 5 stars. Overall room was good but cleanliness wasn't upto the mark. Food from their Nadia restaurant was too expensive and tasteless!

Its super expensive so I had great expectations.

Getting good into this place as a visitor is blood...

Getting good into this place as a visitor is bloody frustrating & sometimes humiliating. They charge Rs 500 (US $5) person just to enter the hotel. This amount is adjustable in what you spend in the hotel.
First you pay a toll tax of Rs 200 to the punjab govt. Just before entering the hotel then at the main gate they count the number of persons in the car. Then you pay Rs 500 per person. Then they search you thoroughly. Scan all your belongings in the machine. By this time if you are fuming and decide to turn back they won't refund the security. You have to then spend it in the hotel.
Not worth so much hassle.

I visited it yesterday and was very disappointed with how they have not maintained the place and the customer service is bad. The terrace cafe service is super slow. I had to ask 4 times and wait 30 minutes to even give my order. This place is over rated!

This place is sorta overrated, the bar is pretty chill tho. It's like a confession box for some reason

Edit: I'm not dissatisfied by your hotel. I just said I only liked the bar. The rest of it is just as meh as the rest of the hotels associated with your chain. Hotels in Pakistan are generally overrated garbage for elite pushovers.

If you are used to western style hotels and want to stay in Murree Bhurban area, this is your only reasonable choice. We have looked at many hotels in the area and found multiple issues in other places.
The only problem is that it is significantly more expensive than surrounding hotels. But if money is not a big issue, then this is a no brainer choice.
You have to pay PKR 200 toll just to approach the hotel. There are many security barriers on the way and you have to answer many questions before you are allowed in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Water supply is good and reliable. Service is good.
Food is clean and delicious. Food is relatively inexpensive compared to room prices which are high even by western standards.
The place is often nearly full and if you are going in peak season, make your booking in advance.

Poor sanitation of washrooms, the HVAC system is noisy and you feel like you are living on a boat, aloof staff, which basically does not care about comfort of the guests.

When i was visiting, there was a sponsored workshop of at least 50 people. The crowd consisted of bachelors, and the place resembled downtown mall road, Murree. Shoving and pushing during food hours.

Overall, my experience was poor.

Honestly, everything was great. The views were perfect, the rooms were extremely clean, the one we stayed in was an attic room as it was mainly kids and young adults, so 4 people downstairs and 6 upstairs with the help of mattresses and extra sheets/pillows. The pool is great too and is kept very clean. You're not allowed to bring things like shishas in so those have to be kept with security for the duration of your stay. The only issue I faced was with the dinner staff, there is a rule of not wearing shorts to dinner as a dress code which I agree is a perfect thing. The main issue was that the staff would turn away children, I speak from my personal experience where a child in our group had to go upstairs and change out of his shorts. During our dinner, a few of us looked around and there seemed to be a lot of adults wearing knee high shorts, doesn't really matter about the height, shorts are shorts. I did personally go and speak to the staff who were running their shifts at the dining area but they just seemed to find the entire situation funny. It's not funny in the slightest and I did let them know that if they found it funny they shouldn't have been working in such a professional working environment in the first place. Rules are there for a reason and everyone should obey them, whether it's children or adults. If adults don't listen to the rules then they should simply not be allowed in, same as what you do to the children. Your rule of no shorts should be enforced on everyone or it sets a bad example. You might want to get new staff that seem to understand the value of a customer and not laugh in their face when they bring up valid problems. I'm away from the country atm but I would have no problems emailing higher management regarding issues like this. I didn't really want to end such a great experience on a note like this but it is what it is.

Very expensive with less friendly staff they money you are paying their is much higher even food of this place not tasty as PC Pindi or Marriott Islamabad although this is belongs to the same group. Apart for that location is beautiful nice side walks and views they don't have hot swimming poll its not easy to swim in a cold water they must thing and provide the facility of hot open water lovely place to visit and sit as don't have any other choice in this area but still want them to improve their food quality and taste in this venue. Apart from all of the bad things you cannot find any better place than this the situation of this hotel is amazing if you are staying in room in valley view then you can sit on your balcony for hours and see to the sky limits your can see even snow top mountain range it s breathtaking view if you like tracking you can find lot of tracks around better to visit this place and enjoy
