I had heard about the restaurant and peach coffee. I ordered the peach special with a a cup of the peach coffee. The coffee had a bit of a odd aftertaste that I can't describe. The potatoes were sliced and diced without seasoning and served. The pancakes were very fluffy. From the time we walked in and out was a bit confusing but our waitress was overly welcoming and that's the only reason for the 3 stars. They really need to work on the greeter actually greeting people.

The food is delicious. The customer service is good. You have to be patient sometimes the are under staffed. It is worth the wait. They will inform you when there is a wait due to being under staffed. The wait staff is courteous and nice. I loved it

I went planning on spending a certain amount of money, however every time I mentioned another item, my waitress showed she had some sort of issue with getting me something else; I still tipped.

Good local spot. Had the shrimp and grits that were good but not the best I've ever had. My friend had the catfish and collards. I should've gotten that because she was raving over it. The service was excellent and the prices were good. I would definitely go back.

Well another adventurous try in the south side Chicago for brunch Historic Bronzeville area since I am a northsider. I came there during the lunch time hours and my oh my was it BUSY! With Christian natives coming out from mass. I am glad I did this solo and not as a group or on a afternoon date. I ended up sitting at the bar instead of a table since that would take longer. I will remember to make reservations since they said they take reservations and it is RECOMMENDED to avoid the wait for a table and to be served. Anyways I had ordered Duck bacon bowl, the Salmon Croquettes and the greens (AKA collard Greens with some meat, not sure if it was ham). The Duck bowl was OK. Nothing super special. It was a curiosity to try since it was Duck bacon and never had it before. It is similar to turkey bacon taste wise which I never really liked. The signature dishes I should have ordered as the main was the Salmon Croquettes. That was delicious! I did order it but as a side dish or appetizer. The "Greens" or the Collard Greens was yummy too. It was savory with meat inside. Portions we're good but not generous or BIG like some breakfast lunch places. I would come back for the Salmon Croquettes dish. It's another Southern comfort State inspired restaurant. What I did not like was at the bar the waiter and the staff was not as responsive in my order of certain things. I also did not get my utensils to eat my entrees right away. I do give them some excuse since it was busy but they should not treat a customer any less important. Especially 1st timers who write or type reviews on websites such as Google,Yelp, and Trip Advisor. Again, I would come back since the food was great! A little pricey on some dishes FYI. Some interesting names of Entrees in the menu such as Fresh Prince and Bananas in Pajamas LOL.

THE WORST SERVICE. MANAGERS ARENT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. CHEFS ARE LAZY & BARELY ADD ENOUGH OF THE INGREDIENTS OF THE ENTREE.

AND WORST OF ALL: AN ARMY OF FLIES PATROLLING THROUGHOUT THE PLACE!

I BARELY ATE ANYHING;WITH A SIDE ORDER UNTOUCHED.I GOT SICK TO MY STOMACH..
I PAID $20 FOR A SMILE & "POLITELY" ASKED TO LEAVE AFTER THEY WERE INFORMED OF THE ISSUES.

ALSO,THERES A FEMININE CHAUVINISTIC ATTITUDE/ENERGY PREVELANT HERE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR HARD EARNED MONEY !

INSTEAD OF PEACH'S; IT SHOULD BE CALLED TRASHY'S OR PISSPOORLY'S.

Been wanting to get here and try out the food and staff. I always support Black Business. Had me on starving mode, I had some issues with how long it took to get food to the table, I thought the kitchen had closed! Staff was decent, but could (and I say this with Love) use some tough management. I'll be back for another try, I'm sure the second impression will be better. No photos, ate my food as soon as I got it.

I'm glad I gave this place a chance because my dining experience was absolutely WONDERFUL! We went on a Saturday during brunch hours when you'd expect a long line but there was no wait! We were seated quickly and promptly greeted by a server who explained the menu. Everything we ordered was excellent! Peach coffee, steak & eggs, pancakes, and salmon croquettes with cheese grits were winners! Everything was delicious! The restaurant's environment was upbeat, welcoming and cozy. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back! Great environment, great food, great service and great price! What else can you ask for? I <3 Peach's!!!!

After reading several reviews and seeing some amazing food pictures I was excited to visit. Sadly to say It was a total disappointment. I love breakfast, and I go crazy for some good shrimp and grits. Today I have very few words for the shrimp and grits I had. Very tasteless and unattractive. My friend had omelette and potatoes also a disappointment. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because:

1. The Peach Coffee was a hit
2. The Peach french toast was tasty
3. The customer satisfaction was A1

I was so disappointed. We went 2/16 @10:30am we were seated within 10mins. However, that's the only thing that happened quickly. The waitress was nice than she disappeared. We looked around, people around us had been served and still no waitress or food. Really..then I asked for the hostess she investigated and she apologized for the delay. The Manager came out and stated the order was put in late. Then it took another 30 mins or longer. Needless to say the food was not hot and the peach house omelet was bland. The Manager gave a 15% discount well they should have compensated for the entire meal. Needless to say the Manager was pleasant and assisted us moving forward, however poor customer service makes a bad first impression. I will not recommend this restaurant at all!

Great spot with delicious coffee, good food, and great service. Really enjoyed grits and greens for a late breakfast. I would love it if they would add veggie sausage. They have a great menu, and it is a little frustrating to see duck sausage without veggie sausage when the latter is so easy to obtain.

I had seen this restaurant on Check Please and knew I had to check it out. Went with 2 other people and we loved every single dish. We tried each other's and we're all jealous of each choice. Tarvis was incredibly helpful and made our eating experience excellent. Between the shrimp and grits, peach bourbon French toast, fried chicken, greens, duck bacon, bacon bowl and 7up pancakes.... You can't go wrong.
I am excited to return and try other items as well.

One of the best breakfast spots on the Southside, with incredibly friendly staff and some great items on the menu. Creative specials will pop up from time to time, but the salmon croquettes with the cajun sauce is really the star of the show, in my opinion.

Like many other breakfast places, space can be limited on weekends, but there's usually bar seating available if you don't have too large of a party.

A word of advice: no matter what you get, order a side of duck bacon to go with it. And while the peach coffee might sound tempting, I think the plain coffee here is much better.

Open 7AM-3PM 7 days a week, and they take cards.

I've passed this place many times on King Drive and I've never had a chance to try it so I finally did. As expected for a Sunday morning it was very busy but they took my takeout order quickly and we're very friendly. After about 15 minutes my order was ready, I ordered pancakes, sausage, grits, and a biscuit. Everything was very good... especially the biscuit. At 2 dollars a biscuit they are pricey but worth it imo. I would definitely go back!

Every time I go to Peaches the people are nice, the service is great and the food is good. I have not had a bad experience there. If I am eating in or taking the food to go I get the same quality of service and food.

Great takeout, but even better when dining in. The food is very tasty, but not greasy, unlike the pancake House down the street on 47th. The wait staff handles patrons well and the prices are reasonable. The food is always seasoned well and hot. Worth a trip!

I had breakfast here last Sunday.. I was referred by a friend.. I give them 3 stars based on the atmosphere and waitstaff... because I was really disappointed in the food... my potatoes were served cold and very dark..seemed to be old... had to send them back and they looked totally different when cooked fresh still had too much paprika... my omelette was ordered without mushrooms and it came loaded with them... there were only 3 tables occupied at the time so how can you get the order wrong and serve cold food... I'm willing to give them another chance because I know the owner and chef would never serve food of this stature...

I only ordered eggs and chicken patties and they were amazing. I really thought there's nothing else you can do to a scrambled egg. But, their eggs were amazing. My friend had a real order, grits and crab cakes, and she loved hers.
