When I first moved in to my new apartment, I tried setting up autopay directly through my bank account since that method of payment required the lowest fees. However, I encountered an error and reached out to Zego via email. After waiting more than a week for a response, I was informed that my bank account was blocked in 2017 (before I had an account with Zego or my property management company) and that I would need to use the phone support line. After calling the phone support line I was escalated to level 2 assistance and told the issue was on my property management company's side of things and told to contact them. After contacting my property management company, they assure me the error was on Zego's side and referred me back to Zego. After once again calling Zego and being escalated through the system, I was informed that indeed my bank account was blocked in 2017 by Zego and that no reason was listed nor were they able to unblock my account. I inquired about reducing the debit or credit card fees to match the direct transfer fees as an alternative option, but was told that was not possible either. So after several emails, phone calls, incorrect information, and a great deal of inconvenience I will NEVER be using Zego again.

I have been trying to call and wait around 30 minutes for a live agent to speak only to have me transferred to another rep and wait another 20-30 minutes. I had to have two cases in high volume just for someone to reply through email when phone did not work. Not good customer service!

Riddle me this.... Funds in my account, chose from your given options to withdraw, then you state you cannot process the transaction.... But you can charge my account an NSF fee for the same amount as the application fee you stated you couldn't withdraw originally. So you take the original funds for the application fee to pay your NSF fee then don't clarify the transaction when sending the transaction to post to my bank? When speaking to their "human" representative, they don't have a clear explanation of how you get the funds for my original requested transaction but take funds for an NSF fee... Update your script. Update... I understand how NSF Fees work. I don't understand how you can pull funds from my account after you stated there was insufficient funds to begin with... I contacted my bank and they stated you received your funds which you all claim takes 3-5 business day to pull but the only thing you pulled was a NSF fee...

For about 7 months now I can't pay rent like all other residents. I just noticed the same thing they did to the last guy writing a review here they did it to me too. I've called customer service several times and I wonder how the choose their people. Nobody knew what to do and I still I have to work hard to pay rent. I mean it's a problem every month. We're in 2021, how is this so hard to fix? From a little problem this has become a torturing sit for me. I don't recommend this company at all.

Zego ruined many renting properties. Every time you change a properties, you will need to a different email address to register for online account (verified by customer representative). I cannot imagine any worse online system.
