We have been trying to resolve improper billings for 5 months. They continue to send claims to a provider we changed 2 years ago. We have sent letters and called an they still continue to fill claims improperly. We have seen no improvement since March from this company.
Negative 5 stars. For some reason Cone Health uses these ignoramuses from Patientco to bill for medical services. I set up payment plans on several occasions and everytime they sent it to collections anyway. The last time Patientco just stopped billing me after I had been making regular, and on time, payments. I reached out to Patientco only for them not to respond. After two months of no bill from them, here comes the collection company calling, again. Patientco must be operated by people so incompetent, they can't even keep track of the accounts they "manage."
Received a final notice on the mail. Called to enquire as I never received anything from them only for them to blame the post office. Tried setting up a payment plan only to be told that when I call back I should hope for the best as this might already be in collections. What s the point of mailing a final notice if there is nothing that can be set up? This sounds predatory.
Horrible company! Their accounting methods make no sense.
I received an invoice for balances for 3 service dates in January. I paid the entire balance. I assume all was well.
The next billing cycle ran and I received a notice indicating my account was severely overdue and they threatened to send me to collections - for a balance from January! They took my payment and only applied a portion to the January balances!
Incompetent company. I cannot believe anyone uses these people.
I have receive billing communication from Dekalb Medical now Emory via Patientco for many years and there continues to be issues surrounding accuracy. How does a hospital of this magnitude operate with such a negligent and insufficient billing system. How does a patients account get placed in collections if they never received for the service rendered. Some auditing needs to be conducted, and lawsuits need to be filed as a result.
Trying to pay my bill, but you sending me a verification code to my email seems to take over 24 hours. Your system stinks.
Patientco is horrible. They don't file with insurance properly. Their invoices are inaccurate and lacking in detail. They don't recognize when a payment has been made and the information on their website is inaccurate. I will find new physicians with a company that does not use Patientco rather than go back to my physician as long as they are using Patientco.
Ever since starting seeing our new physician we've been using PatientCo regularly. During the payment process our payments are easily entered and a receipt is immediately e-mailed to us. We've had no problems so far.
