There are lots of outer clothings. Quality is good but it is expensive a little.

I've been here before and the service I've experienced wasn't the greatest I Love the clothing but there's been times I've been here before and I've been looked down because of what I was wearing or because of how I look. Dont judge a book by its cover.. The service we recieved today was great from a a guy in his 30 men's department, thank you !!!

Friendly, helpful staff, nice but expensive clothing. Hard to get a stroller up the front stairs.

Durring the Thomas fire in Ventura the Patagonia company sold warm clothing at discount to the WILDLAND fire fighters that were working out in the cold. It was a great moral boost and kept them warm.

The original and classic Patagonia store. Very friendly staff and as always great clothing and gear. Easy access from the 101 highway and plenty of parking on and off the street.

If you're coming to Ventura, make a stop at Great Pacific Iron Works, the flagship store for Patagonia. It's next to the corporate offices and in an historic building at the far north end of town. The staff at the store are friendly, helpful and kind. Ask them for guidance! They will not try to sell you something you don't need and will help you find the right gear. Growing up in Ventura, I came here often and remember full well being told to buy something cheaper elsewhere for one trip, but that a specific jacket would be a good purchase for the backpacking trip I was about to take. What other store would guide you like that?!

I was buying equipment here in the mid 1970's - what a great contribution to society this place has offered over the years!!

If you are getting Patagonia, this is the only place you should be getting it from. The staff is extremely knowledgable and very helpful.

Finally made it to the original. Great store but not necessary better than others I ve visited which was surprising.

Cute store. Historic building. Not a huge fan of the colors for the ladies and the prices are not in my range. Everyone was nice.

Love this store! Has everything you could possibly want Patagonia. And they hold some super cool events here. It s awesome that they bring in the community and the topics they care about. The employees here are really helpful too!

Nice, expensive, trendy clothing and stuff. I thought there would be fly-fishing gear, but not so much.

This store is like no other I ve seen. I was really impressed as to how it s setup and the selection offered. Patagonia is one of those companies that actually takes pride in their products. I ve heard many stories about how Patagonia coming through doing the right thing for the customer. They don t outsource their clothing to Chinese sweatshops, therefore the pricing is justified in their opinion.

Too much good stuff. Lots of history. It is a must visit location for the history alone..

To all that mention "pricey"....you get what you pay for. I have Patagonia gear that I've been wearing for 40+ years. If you ever have a problem with an item they will either repair or replace. The flagship store is beautiful and like all Patagonia retail outlets, extremely professional and knowledgeable staff. A pleasure to visit any and all.

I had a wonderful old Patagonia jacket and the gortex had been failing. I was offered a brand new jacket in exchange!!! Thank you so much Patagonia. I never expected that.

Patagonia. What's not to love? They don't have quite as much stuff here at the flagship store as I was expecting thought. Still cool to see a living catalog.

Pantagoni decided to get political with there labeling, with that they get the lowest star rating possible.
Hope they go out of business.

So expensive! A buddy of mine got a $500 gift card from his mother so he could buy nice warm clothes for his trip to Idaho, all he was able to buy was 1 jacket and that 1 jacket was over $400. Yes the jacket was warm and came with a warranty but he was only able to get one thing with that gift card.

The people at GPIW are very friendly and very helpful. The Patagonia clothing and gear they sell is exceptional. And Patagonia itself is a great company. Highly recommended!

I love the Patagonia store. I tried to buy the Patagonia dog one time but it wasn't for sale. The locations is kind of hidden but is worth stopping by. Prices are higher than other similar stuff but you buying Patagonia.
