We had a wonderful tour guide, Reg Denny, he was very informative and knowledgeable. He was humourous and clear in his delivery. He happily answered our questions. We were with a mature group of over 60's ( we were not this old!) and he made sure we had 'sit breaks'!! It is a long tour with lots of steps not for people with walking or health difficulties. I had pedometer on me and did over 9000 steps!! Would recommend the tour, really enjoyed it.

Went for the audio tour of the place. It was worth it. Generally the tours of places of interest in london is good with a lot of history explained. This explained alot of the parliament of UK... like house of common and house of lords... and alot of history as to how UK reacjed its current state of political adminstration. You only can take photos at first 2 halls.

Royal residence from the 11th to the early 16th century as well as in the neo-gothic style in the middle of the 19th century. built of golden brown limestone and equipped with three towers building complex as the seat of the two Houses Lords and Commons of the British Parliament in the midst of political and royal power center Westminster in the cosmopolitan city on the Thames. The best view of the impressive Palace of Westminster can be had from Westminster Bridge. From here you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the prestigious and imposing building complex of the UNESCO World Heritage Palace, Abbey and St Margaret's Church.

The most staff are fine, but the staff who is giving the visitor badge has a horrible attitude to visitors. Using a scold tone to tell visitors as if he is the ruler of everyone. That African guy is a shame of the U.K. parliament. He even threatened to have law enforcement come just because the visitor can't understand his bad English speaking like a mad man!

The guided tours last about an hour and fifteen minutes and are really interesting. The inside of the building is stunning. It is a beautiful place full of history. The oldest part is over 900 years old! A must see!

Make an appointment to enter 18 pounds.
It is the most magnificent tour guide on the 11th Parliament.
The language guide has Chinese language and is slow to read. Compared with the free visit of the German Parliament, the language guide will automatically play backward. The guided tour is mainly about the history and current system of the British Parliament.

During the parliament, the public corridor is open for free. But does not include the upper and lower parliament hall.

The Thames Barrier is a marvel of engineer to keep London safe from flooding by high tides and storm surges. Have visited the information centre before and never written a review until now. Looks amazing. We took a gentle walk from the O2 along the Thames Path to the Thames Barrier. There is a small information centre situated below the cafe and it is well worth a visit.

One of the greatest places I've ever visited! Makes you feel great just being able to relate to the place. Again like others u thought big Ben was a huge clock but in reality my owns clocks was maybe as tall. Unfortunately I visited during the repairs so a lot of it is covered whilst works are undertaken.

One of the most peculiar and imposing buildings of the English capital with more than a thousand rooms and incredible five kilometers of corridors. That's where Big Ben is. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as being a symbol of the strength of the British and the political heart of the United Kingdom.

On a sunny day whilst in Victoria Street, I decided to take a short leisurely stroll to visit The Palace of Westminster which serves as the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords; the two houses of government commonly known as the Houses of Parliament.

I wish that I hadn t bothered, for the scene that greeted me was truly depressing and indicative of the times we live in. Parliament is cordoned off for security reasons and surrounded by armed police to protect the self-serving political mediocrities within.

Parliament Green is so full of tents and semi-permanent structures on scaffolding erected by the BBC and many other media channels covering the BREXIT debacle that it resembles a UN refugees camp.

Forlornly standing in parliament square is the statue of our greatest Prime Minister Winston Churchill quietly watching the unfolding chaos before him. The sad irony of this thought was not lost on me.

British parliamentarism, the Brazilian inspiration is a British inspiration, which was born from the British Parliament building, where the Chamber of Lords and the Chamber of Commons still meet today.
In Brazil, there was a period since the second half of the 19th century when Brazil was ruled by Dom Pedro II. It was a parliamentary system, where there was the emperor and the prime minister. Born in the British parliament, the story that the king reigns, but who governs is the prime minister.

Get your tickets on line before you go to avoid disappointment. The tour is excellent with a lot of insightful facts that I had no idea about beforehand. The tour guides are excellent and really know their history. The buildings and art are a must see.

Beautiful building inhabited by mostly hapless/spineless career politicians that are running the country into the ground whilst simultaneously lining their own pockets. I make an exception for the Rt Honourable Dennis Skinner, who is a legend.

This building is a world landmark on the outside, but definitely look into the guided tours to get a detailed look at fascinating periods of English history. I'm still trying to unpack Parliament's complicated relationship even today with Cromwell.

Beautiful building and the inside was full of history and fun stories from our enthusiastic guide. I enjoyed all the stories of parliament, the monarchy, and events that have happened in this building over the years. Getting to go into the House of Commons was a highlight for me.
