Great for a travelling stay and if needing to fly again soon after, rooms are well equipped for an airport hotel and service impeccable... Would definitely recommend if needing to stay clise to the airport, especially if having a next day early flight...
It is not our first stay at this hotel. We found the room was a bit dated, with poor maintenance and not what one expects from a hotel in this price range. We had a dinner for 12 people at $589, in the dining room and staff were a bit short with us, and orders were not what we ordered. One diner ordered Cheesecake and a Cheese plate was brought to the table. This visit our guests had to pay for validating their parking tickets, this too did not occur last visit. It was very annoying indeed to have the alarm clock go off at midnight, which we did not set. Perhaps staff making up the rooms should check that the alarm is off.
A most convenient location but this visit was disappointing. One highlight was Angela in the dining room, very pleasant.
Checked in late after landing at midnight and staff were really helpful with the whole check-in process. Had trouble falling asleep due to works happening on the road outside (constant reverse alarm noise). The room is not as sound proof as I would have liked, as I was woken up by people chattering away in the hallway as they walked past. Mini bar is electronic. Fantastic late check-out time of 11am though!
Was there for a work conference. Very nice facilities and the catering was lovely. Venue was also very lovely. Only thing would be that hotel guests sometimes walked through the event, with some in their dressing gowns which was quite awkward.
Amazing friendly staff. Really delicious room service. Rooms are always clean. Perfect location for anyone on a short stop over. Even has a heated pool, spa, sauna and gym.
overpriced parking and you have to walk quite a distance before you get to arrivals
We spent a night at the hotel in between flight transfer. Great location if you need to stay at the vicinity of the airport, just few meters away from the departures.
The reception was very friendly and they even upgraded our room. We got a room at the 9th floor. The room was clean, ample and with plenty of light. Furniture was a bit old fashioned without any design wow factor.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable !
Also, Blackout curtains did an amazing job keeping the daylight out!
There was some noise from the airport (unavoidably) as well as from the floor. We could hear people coughing from rooms nearby which was a bit unpleasant.
A good selection of tea was provided as well as filter coffee. No espresso though.
Basic amenities were provided but neither cotton buds nor shaving kit.
In terms of facilities, there is a well equipped fitness room, an indoor swimming pool as well as sauna and steam room.
All in all, a decent hotel if you have to overnight at the airport but considerably overpriced for what it offers.
After an 8 hour flight and if your domestic connection is a few hours away, take the 3 hour stay which allows you to recharge the phone and yourself. Gym also available
Great view of the runway. Very convenient and clean.
Friendly, helpful staff and decent rooms for an airport hotel. Free shuttle service to send from the airport, which is just a few minutes away.
Nice but too big and hence confusing airport. We were searching for Return Of rented car office for more than half an hour and making round trips to find it out. So be clear about your destination.
What a delightful place to stay overnight to catch a 6am flight. Room is clean, sharp looking and well presented. Staff are friendly, polite and looked after us well... from Reception to the Restaurant.
Lovely room. I really liked the location of the desk in the room, so I could see Melbourne in all its glory. Food great, we spent a bit of time at the bar, and enjoyed the quiet there. However, the Muslim call to prayer in the morning when we left ruined the whole thing, and we won't be back. Was there a version of "Onward's Christian Soldiers" as well? If not, then that is totally favouring one religion over others.
Organized workshop here. Was such an easy, smooth process. Great service from friendly staff. Really happy with the quality of the food and drink service. AV and general room set up was great, again, service was great. Really pleased with the experience. Would book again.
Convenient short walk to Melbourne Airport. Comfortable even for the more discerning traveller.
This place was our saviour from a bad hotel that we left in st khilda. Really nice room and nice staff.
Great hotel, absolutely beautiful and perfectly located immediately in front of international departures, so very stress free time management. The price though, I get that I just said all the the above, but the nightly rate is usually more than twice that of the hotels in staying at on my holidays. D:
Went there for dinner. Food was really good. Service could have been better
Visited to participate at a conference. Good and comfortable meeting rooms. Clean wash rooms. The food was good too.
Great airport hotel. Quiet, convenient, good beds, good food.
Great experience, hotels, plenty of restaurants in walkable distance
Stayed overnight before a morning flight and had a wonderful time. Great gym and a lap pool, spa and sauna. In a room facing the Dandenong Ranges and watched the sunrise over them - spectacular. Rooms were lovely - separate bath and shower and retractable clothes line over bath. Fox TV channels included.
Buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had. Barista coffees included. I especially enjoyed the fruit loaf, cheeses, fruit and yoghurt. There was a juicer with plenty of ingredients to make your own juice. Very friendly and attentive staff.
And so relaxing to just walk across the footbridge to the terminal.
Bed was comfortable. Room was big. Lots of stains and worn spots on the carpet. Bathroom floor didn't look very clean either. Expensive. But you pay for the location
Good food provided. Internet facilities were a bit slow.
From checking in to checking out, the reception staff were not friendly if not rude. You don t expect them to give you the big eye treatment when you question how a mistake they made should be resolved. Having stayed in many high end hotels I expect better when you are paying nearly $400 a night.
Staff are good but it is starting to show its age. Floors and fixtures getting worn.
Very expensive 350 Aus dollars per night. Milking the fact that they are nearest hotel. Airport needs to provide better facilities for transiting late night passengers.
Validated parking, the food and beverage staff were excellent and the front staff lovely
A fantastic hotel with great access to the airport. Its just a shame that it is expensive.
Good hotel with friendly staff. Just a short walk to the airport. Hotels cafe had one of the best burgers I've had.
Lovely place for a break before flights. This is also a hidden gem to relax before a flight.
Stayed here before flighting to LA the next morning. A very spacious room, clean and well presented. The restaurant food was delicious.
The venue was excellent and the reception staff were wonderful. Finding the car parking was TERRIBLE, CONFUSING & TIME WASTING!! This was an experience described by other conference attendees too.
Getting my ticket validated and being able to pay at reception eased my feelings a little.
Quiet, close to every thing , studios perfect for a short break
