Hotel in the center, 10 minutes walk to the pier with many good restaurants
Beautiful room.lovely time with family. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Lovely service. Couldn't have asked for more.
Awesome hotel great service and excellent location right in the cbd
Quiet and clean rooms. Stayed on 12th floor. Hotel is in a geat location. Shops, cafes, grocery store, and restaurants close by. Very good restaurant on the third floor, however, don't expect the same quality of food for room service after the restaurant is closed. I ordered the angus burger at 8pm and it was obvious it was not made by a chef. The burger was overcooked and the buns burnt. Fries were ok. The cost of room service food is a few dollars more with an additional $5NZD delivery charge. Don't order room service at night.
Aimed at the business traveller
Good restaurant down stairs
Room and bath are very clean. Spacious and has all the kitchen utensil: micro wave, stove and everything. Can tell hotel is old but seem newly renovated. Would give it a 4 or higher but the service was poor: ask for ice and said no oven when they are suppose to have room service. Reception lady was willing to help but says the parking is full but after circulating street for 20 min found out that parking is only half full. So in short not very helpful or knowledgable staff but room is great.
A,wonderful place, I would come back in another time
A new accommodation offering: earnest responsive staff with an affordable nightly tariff and excellent disability wheelchair access and extra service. Thank you team Park Hotel
I would have preferred a better couch. Their couch was a small stiff two seater which became uncomfortable with long TV watching or reading so couldn't recline comfortably. But the service was friendly and they are well located in town with a suitable restaurant on site
Rooms were fine. Service was not. Had to ask for everything that should have been included at check-in. Booked a king bed, showed up and it was two twins. Would not stay again.
Home pro, small rooms but very cleans. We loved this place.
Good situation. Comfortable. Accessible to everyone.
Great central location, modern comfortable rooms and friendly staff. My preferred place to stay in the capital.
Great hotel at a great price. Rooms were clean, had access to laundry, and the front desk was very helpful in welcoming us to wellington.
Generally good place to stay, excellent central location and good value. Friendly and helpful and looked after our bags for an extra night. Great breakfast. Room we had was small made worse by too large bed and TV on a warm that meant you banged into when you walked by. Some small maintenance and housekeeping issues but nothing serious. Also watch out if you check out at 11AM as there can be a queue of people questioning the 100$ preauthorisation. However good nights sleep up on the 12th floor and room has pretty much everything you need including plates and washing up liquid. Top tip check the parking in Carlton st opposite as can work out cheaper.
Nice tidy well kept rooms. My preferred hotel in Wellington city when I go to watch the ANZ Netball at TSB Arena
Clean bed. Big shower. Quick access to the main street. I like it.
Very friendly staff, room is clean, tidy and comfortable. Check in was easy
Great hotel situated in the heart of Wellington.Everything clean, tidy and efficient.Lovely friendly staff and very well decorated. Awesome restaurant.Thank You..
Awesome restaurant. Staff are very professional. I ate here all week and tried most of the menu. My two picks are the Angus eye fillet - one of the best steaks ever. And the lamb shoulder is delicious. If you want something different try the bone marrow entree
Staff, location, rooms, breakfast you couldn't ask for more. Enjoyed our stay will stay again on our next adventure to beautiful Wellington
Room was spacious but found the washroom to be cramped. The wash basin was tiny and I banged my head on the wooden stand right above it while washing my face.
Very clean in a convenient location. There are 2 entrances. If you can't find parking, street parking is free after 6pm. Rooms are very modern and well kept. Felt right at home.
Extremely good value for money, outstanding location. Compared to the James cook this is vastly better. This customer is changing my preferred hotel in Wellington.
We had a booking 21/09/2018. When I went to the counter to check in the lady at the front desk ignored me and then 5mins later she called me to check in she seemed like she didn t want to be there. Then we were given an access card that was broken therefore didn t work so we took it back. Then we got to the room and there was a queen size bed when we had book 2 singles. So I rang reception and complained. They said they could sort it out when we had gone out I said we will be going out in 30mins. 5mins later two staff arrived which was awkward as we were trying to get ready and I tried to get them to come back as they weren t listening.... we also did not the get the gym passes which came with the hotel booking that we asked for. They also take an extra $100 deposit on top of your payment which they do not advise till you get there. I regularly stay in Wellington but would not stay here again.
Great location, friendly staff, clean and modern rooms.
Lack of noise, draught control. Old sinking mattress, cleanliness not up to the scratch
Great location. Rooms are very good and for a good price. Would definitely recommend
Great place to stay in Welly
Best service in town with professional and friendly staffs
A new and modern hotel. Service is friendly and the hotel well organized/run. I stayed in three different rooms during my stay and all were the same in quality - high. The only criticism I have is minor - there is next to no storage for personal bathroom items, storage for clothes is limited to hanger space only in the last room I stayed and the TV size in the last room I stayed in was a bit too small to watch movies, but adequate if all you wanted was to watch the news or shows. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but you also pay a pretty penny for that. The wine list showcased some very nice examples from NZ regions, but again you can expect to pay top dollar for that. All up, a very good hotel to stay for a day or two, but if you stay longer, be sure to ask for a room with storage for your clothes unless you want to live out of a suitcase.
Rooms were very nice but only 1 elevator of 3 were working. Very bad. Breakfast was also poor.
Modern style, clean and very accessible to transport but the elevators are a bit dated.
A really nice room and comfortable bed. Lovely amenities. Great parking
Work trip just a 1 night stay great views and central location
Quiet location, friendly staff and clean with a good restaurant. I'm not giving full stars as the room was small and the bathroom tiny and unventilated with poor fan. And also despite an email and a follow up phone call to secure a parking spot we had no confirmation or anyone come back to us. They did accommodate a space on the condition that would be blocked in behind the managers car and despite not being able to use it as a functional space charged us in full. The stay was fine but I'd probably try somewhere else next time.
Even though I live in Wellington, sometimes it's nice to treat myself to a little staycation in the city! I've stayed here twice now and it's very affordable for the quality you get! Make sure to book through their website for the best deals!
Rude staff. Never kept my booking. Bad service and attitudes. No customer service. Should not be in Hospitality Industry. Zero service. Avoid like the plague.
Typical city centre hotel, no character, no atmosphere, clean room
Dust in the bathroom. Toilet seat not fitting properly. hand basin too small to wash your face over. Shower over the bath. Pillows flat. The worst was having to pay an extra $25.00 to park our car over night.
Lovely for a staycation - even got a room with a view straight towards the harbour. Breakfast on a Sunday morning a little busy but delicious once it arrived and was easy with our included breakfast rate.
Room was well equipped - a better hairdryer would have been nice though.
Great location in the CBD. Helpful check in staff. Rooms looked like they have been recently refurbished. Very clean and tidy. Room had a kitchenette.
Lovely hotel in the city. Easy access to all amenities.
Very small and cheap furnishings, but good location. Bad for parking.
Room was clean and service was OK. We asked for a parking space, but upon arrival were told there wasn't one for us after all. We spent the holiday parking and reparking the car lol...not quite, but pretty much.
Hotel is great but adjoining restaurant needs improvement. Service is very slow and staff are inflexible. I believe the restaurant is separate and franchised - if so, it's letting the hotel down.
Smallish rooms as one wpuld expect in major cities, manned by excellent staff. Highly recommended.
Quick check in and out process. Wonderful staff. Check out was a breeze. Kudos to John for the speedy service
Will definitely be coming back to stay
Access cards don't work at front door, elevator buttons don't work so every ride is a mystery tour, air conditioners are ineffective, rooms are very small, bathrooms are tiny, the shower changes temperature just to keep you on your toes.
The facilities in the hotel are fine, and the location is central to the CBD.
The room service is run out of the restaurant which is open to the public, which made for extremely slow service whilst I was staying.
I found the reception staff particularly unfriendly and unhelpful. They also tried to overcharge me twice, and the cleaners seemed to always be cleaning the lobby floor and the lifts at very busy times.
Great hotel close to everything, can walk to all the sights. Comfy bed and pillows. Love having a kitchenette and restaurant has great food too. Definitely recommend staying here.
Our stay was excellent. Worth every dollar of the price of admission. The staff are excellent especially a young man named John
Nice room right down town. Room had a very open feel, kitchen included and a nice shower. Clean and modern.
Lovely comfortable hotel. I was ill and so used room service for dinner and breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bed and room was modern and really well equipped. Great location on the Terrace.
Nice and clean ... only a proper breakfast is missing
Good breakfast, otherwise meh. For the money, much better options nearby.
Lovely room, clean and modern. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Was really handy for us in walking distance of the venue we had to go to.
Very clean, tidy large room. Walkable to heart of CBD and yummy breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. Happy to stay again when next in Wellington :-)
Doubled the price for one night because of a concert. Had to pay $400 instead of $200 which it usually costs, ripe off.
Excellent one week stay in this hotel in middle of the CBD. Well done the staff and the management. Keep the good work going.
Nice Hotel, very clean, good restaurant with excellent selection for breakfast and good service
In town for business overnight then this is a handy spot in the CBD, short walk to Parliament Buildings, shopping and restaurants.
Urban hotel in downtown Wellington. Close to everything. Small but Clean. Walking distance to the Green Parrot
Third stay there, clean, nice rooms, laundry facilities, and located in the CBD close to ALL amenities.
It's in the heart of Wellington.
Lambton quay is very close to all Welly CBD's attraction.
Wonderful service from wonderful people.
Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable with good bedding and seating areas. Location is fantastic. 5 min walk from the Wellington cablecar. However on our second night there were construction / drilling sounds in the area around the hotel- part and parcel of being in a city.
(+++) super central location
(+++) very friendly staff
(++) Small but very comfortable and modern rooms
(++) quick check-in and check-out
We had booked the hotel with frequent flyer points as part of a New Zealand holiday of a lifetime. We had to cancel our trip halfway through due to a medical emergency back home. My mother in law was in ICU dying. We cancelled our hotel there with plenty of notice. But the hotel refused to reimburse the full points used to book. They showed no empathy towards our dire situation. Very poor and very heartless.
