Six hours waiting and still was not seen. They ha...

Six hours waiting and still was not seen. They hand pick who they want to see. If you came after or only speak Spanish , they will see you first. This is actually scary because my reason for coming to the hospital was a potentially life threatening emergency. I was patient waited 6 hours that I will never get back. To add insult to injury there is a 5 dollar fee to exit the parking lot. Which is fine but if you weren't seen , that has to be waived. Staff is condescending, nurses are unprofessional, doctors are managers but at the same time these doctors don't comply with Federal Regulations im sure , and they take management roles that they can't handle properly. When you ask to speak to them, they are always super busy with a patient so there's no way they will ever talk to you. This ER is not an ER, this is a very bad managed walk in clinic that you pay to stay on standby. The city of Dallas should investigate this hospital and so should the Attorney General.

I had a really good experience at Parkland Hospital. I had to go to the ER on yesterday. They were kind, patient, and respectable towards me for the most part. I appreciate the fact they actually ran test on me as needed. A lot of hospitals kind of brush you off, and act like it's in your head, or that it is only this or that. I thank God for keeping me. I thank God for my experience. I did have to wait for awhile to be seen, but I know they were assisting a lot of people. Any emergency room will treat first come, first serve as long as you are not in some type of trauma, or getting ready to have a baby or something. We all know that Dallas is huge, and they have a lot of people to treat/take care of. Show the employees a little bit more kindness. Don't tell at them and curse at them. I heard so much disrespect in the ER on last night. That only make matters worse for you, others around you, and the staff. Everyone have a blessed and prosperous day/week in Jesus name. God loves you all and so do I.

This hospital is a really good place to deliver your baby. Everybody is doing a great job, they are so friendly and helpful. Everything went so well. Thank you for your wonderful help. God bless this place. For my soul it was a new experience being here after 55 years experiencing this place brought my daughter to Life. God bless this place and everyone who will ever be here. God bless America and it's wonderful people! Thank you so much!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! My son-in-law was injured in an explosion at work yesterday. He was transferred to this Parkland Hospital, without our consent. His care is subpar at best. The communication with our daughter, his wife, has been non-existent. They refuse to allow her to visit, as they are attempting to hide his poor care. " As long as no one is a witness to the poor care, it does not exist", is the game they are playing. He is in intensive care. We have spent the past 16 hours attempting to communicate with the nursing staff, the physician on his team as well as the administrative team. I'm sure the housekeeping team would do a better job of providing the information a family needs in a time of great crisis! We are doing what we can to have him transferred out of this horrible environment! What ever you do, AVOID PARKLAND HOSPITAL LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Parkland is THE BEST HOSPITAL! Had all 4 of my babies here and each time was better than the last! Nurses were so attentive and helpful they always went above and beyond. About a month ago I went in the ER for gallbladder issues and although I had to wait almost 12 hours (there were about 100 patients so it s understood) once they got to me they were very nice and helpful very informative with what they were going to do! Thank you Parkland because I know I can ALWAYS trust in that you ll take the best care of your patients even under all the stress

You should only go here if you re delivery a baby....

You should only go here if you re delivery a baby. If this is a life or death experience, go somewhere else. This hospital is short staffed, especially now with the pandemic. Have to wait 3-4 hour to see a doctor while I was in pain. Unacceptable

My husband went in cause he used the restroom and his bowels turn black and was bleeding red. We worried it was something critical.. left to the hospital. Literally did nothing.. took his vitals told him to wait in the lobby and waited for like maybe 6 hours or more don t seem to care at all!! I m sorry but they again DONT care at all. They want the pay but don t want to

Absolutely worst at seeing patients in timely mann...

Absolutely worst at seeing patients in timely manner. Sister been waiting 12 hours and still hasn t been called to the back, I m sure a shift change has happened, she s in severe pain can t walk and people are hiding to keep from working. Haven t had any serious emergencies come through so what is the hold up. Thought a new look would bring about a new mindset, blaming short staff on Covid, it was like this before the pandemic, no one wants to work anymore, just riding the clock for a check . Ridiculous. Glad I m not a uninsured individual. Trash treatment in ER
