Children's Mercy ER staff is very caring and compassionate... They were WONDERFUL with my 23 month old grandson... My grandson was in excruciating pain upon arriving 7/06/21 and after a 5 minute procedure he was back to his wild happy self... 2 before photos and 2 after photos.... This hospital is such a great hospital. My son had the best care and was looked after so well. I was worried to know that I had to leave him for a day by himself but once I got there, all of my worries faded. We were treated with so much respect, the facility was immaculate and the staff was absolutely amazing! If I could rate the staff 10 stars I would. Thank You so much Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. You guys were great!
Children s Mercy is an absolutely wonderful place to take your child. Our 2 month old was sick with RSV/bronchiolitis and every single nurse, doctor, and respiratory therapist that worked with us provided great care for our son. Everyone took time to explain what was going on and what our next steps would be. I never felt confused or unsure about what was happening. Our son s care team acted quickly when his condition changed and helped get him all of the support he needed. I felt like everyone there truly cared about our son and family.
Although I hope my children don t end up sick enough to go to the hospital again, I can rest easy knowing that Children s Mercy Hospital will be there to help.

Top Notch hospital!! I would give it more stars if I could my son was here as a newborn with jaundice then again when he was three months old with a virus. Both times he received phenomenal care and they treated us with respect! All the nurses and Drs I came in contact were so caring and nice! If my child needs a hospital I Wouldn t think of going to another one except here
Very very poor service today. Being rated as one of the best is probably due to all the new technology that they re using However the actual care and effectiveness should be at the bottom. Atleast here in Missouri because I had to go to KANSAS for treatment that was needed

I had to take my 1 year old son to Children's Mercy because he was having difficulty breathing. Within an hour he was seen by an emergency room physician where they confirmed he had RSV. They admitted him for 2 1/2 days while he recovered. The nurses and doctors checked on him and myself very often and were so pleasant to be around. I felt like they genuinely cared about us and his recovery. Each time they came in to check on him they asked if there was anything they could get me. They kindly brought me water and Gatorade while I was there waiting for him to get better.
Very Sweet Nursing Staff! However, bedding was disgusting! Tests were promised that were never done. When we asked the doc about it. He looked shocked that tests weren t done. Then he said they must have not got to us because they were busy!?! They still did not run the tests!
The staff is very polite and friendly. The doctors and nurses are amazing. They always keep us involved in our son's treatment. We've been coming since 2007And the staff is always amazing
