My experience with Alicia has been great, she touches base every two weeks, shows me some things I can be doing. The whole parkbench experience has been good in that it has fast tracked my knowledge of the area and allowed me to get to know some great people. I haven't gotten any leads from it yet. I know St.A is a tough area b/c of all the RE agents here, so we will see. Either way, it's a fun experience eventhough hard work.
My wife and I joined with Parkbench.com about a month ago now. We are liking the site and company's platform. We have done about 7 interviews so far and it is helping us get some great connections with other local business owners. We even had one place that we interview said they liked it so much and were getting great response from it that they asked if we could come back and cover a comedy event that they were featuring. It definitely takes some time to meet with the businesses and conduct interviews but is a great relationship building model. I am the Local Leader for Asheville and Arden, North Carolina and am beginning my second year with Parkbench. When I was first contacted by them a year ago and presented the opportunity that they offer, I was told by Silas on the sales team, that Parkbench was not for everybody; that only certain types of Realtors would be able to make appropriate use of their platform. How true this has turned out to be! After a year of, honestly, not making the best use of Parkbench (8-10 interviews), I can say with certainty that, while I was not the best local leader, I got more out of it than I put into it.
Part of what held me back was that, while I loved the idea of building relationships and providing value on the front end, I could not shake the inherent urge to see each business owner I contacted and interviewed as strictly a source of potential referrals, i.e. money. I am really big on authenticity and my inability to reconcile this conflict not only hindered my Parkbench experience but nearly drove me out of the real estate industry altogether.
I was unsure that would renew my subscription to Parkbench.
And then I talked to Ray...
He singlehandedly talked me into it without selling me. He did this by listening and taking genuine interest in my situation and what was driving my hesitancy. He also helped me to actually articulate what my problem was and develop some action steps to develop an appropriate solution.
The team (and especially Ray) at Parkbench is amazing! Iv'e been to their office in Toronto and they're the real deal. Now for a little soul searching.. If you REALLY see yourself as being in the relationship and community building business and not in it solely for the money or the next transaction, (insert long and hard thought here) then Parkbench is an amazing opportunity! If, however, you are thinking about this as just another fancy marketing ploy to get your name and face out there, trust me this deal is not for you. You will see yourself as "working for free" rather than investing your time and if your heart's not in it, it will show in the form of inconsistency and resentment.
That's the biggest thing Parkbench did for me. It helped to point out my own inconsistencies; where my actions and motives were not quite matching my values and where I was lacking faith in my own principles. I don't think this was their intent and it was a bitter pill to swallow, but I think I got it. This year, Parkbench will be my tool of contribution with which I will build authentic relationships and community with people and businesses without expectations for anything in return.
Thank you Grant, Cam, Ray and everyone else at Parkbench! I look forward to making the most of the next 12 months!

I am a very new agent, three months into my new career before COVID19 hit. I was completely paralyzed and shut down. I was at my lowest about how to move forward when Rashad from Parkbench reached out to me. He began to describe the mission and vision of parkbench and its ambassador sponsors. I nearly cried. It was like hearing me repeat my business plan but on a much larger scale with a larger reach than I could do on my own. First, hats off to Sydney Crawford, our On-Boarding Instructor, Motivator, Advisor and the first person since Cole that we connected with once taking the plunge and joining Parkbench. Cole Rowden, by the way, is awesome too! Very nice guy. He was our sales specialist and was super helpful. Sydney got us started with our initial website and how-to training and helped to build confidence. Everyone we ve connected with has been super helpful, listens and responds, answers questions cheerfully and honestly. We had our first call with Ray Recek last week. Ray is all over the place. You can find him just about anywhere. There is no shortage of training with this company and Ray is one of the leaders. I can tell we are going to love working with him. Lastly, as an option, Parkbench will post local news and events to your social media sites. You can adjust the amount of postings so you don t overwhelm. Since we are not the most devoted social media posters (we were terrible at it), linking our social media sites has been impressive and a relief to us. The cost to have another company manage our social media was not cost effective and therefore just didn t happen. Parkbench does this as part of our membership and does an awesome job at it. Totally recommend this option. Unless you are all over your media sites everyday - let Parkbench do the work for you. We are impressed and you will be too. Our overall first look with the Parkbench experience has been 5 stars!
Parkbench has been amazing with the support. There attitude is a can do or let s figure out how to get it done attitude and has never been no we can t do that . Plus what Parkbench has done for the notoriety in my business has been invaluable.
Not happy with a company as unethical as this one who refused to refund my wife after Hurricane Michael changed the course of her career. She had not even used their website at all. Gimmicky training overload no one has time for and anyone motivated and professional enough can do this themselves without paying nearly what they charge for it.
The worst lead generation concept! On the phone they'll make it sound like it's great but after you sign and get the full concept you realize how stupid and impossible it is to pull. Once you paid they'll never refund your money no matter what. Be careful and stay away.
Two great things, the concept: unique, provide a platform to businesses and the support, they give the latest technology with old school teaching and training. If you are a new Realtor come get the right way to start off, if you are a seasoned Realtor like me, come catch up to the technology blend with service. This is a brilliant business plan. They aren't about how many zipcodes they can get but how much they can do what they do best so Realtors can work deeply for their community!

This is a great new platform I was introduced to by a local contact, Donna Mechura. She interviewed me and gave me the opportunity to establish my business on Parkbench. The set-up was fairly simple. I did have to learn how to add photos, but it wasn't a huge learning curve. There was an issue with a coupon I created, but Tom and the team hopped right on it. This business unfortunately acts as a predatory business to local real estate agents, ensuring that with use of a "system" they can generate leads for you. Unfortunately, even after attempting multiple times to schedule interviews, and engaging in conversations with ParkBench - and their unfortunately useless coaching calls - they simply aren't able to preform. I disputed my transaction with my credit card issuer and their response was predatory in nature and blamed me that their systems did not work. I look forward to the long dispute to get my money back after their failure to provide appropriate service and cease their predatory business model.
If you're looking to spend your money on leads, genuinely pay someone who has a proven track record. When you sign up with Parkbench, you become a parkbench employee - they harass you and harass you to get them interviews to push their brand forward. Nothing is actually about the agent.

This is a very high pressure company that sells you on the service of creating a neighborhood community where you can interview business owners and post their business on this website. Park bench sales staff sells it to you as they will handle all of the promoting of this, via Facebook social media sending newsletters to your clients for you. However in truth they will do none of this and you find this out after you pay an exorbitant fee , get into the website and speak to their "onboarding specialist".. I paid $3,500 for basically a static website and they refused to refund my money, stating that they gave me a website with my Town's name on it and they fulfilled their obligation. NO, They sold me a service which they never intended on fulfilling. They claim and sell to you they have a money back guarantee, however it is full of so many stipulations that they do not inform you of on the sales call that could hardly ever be met. The sales rep " went over the contract" on the phone however he never mentioned there was no refunds he never mentioned it was a final sale just kept reiterating the money back guarantee! Intentionally left these out and misled me. I have spoken to a dozen other Realtors who the same thing has happened to. Some quotes were up to $7,000! $4,000 $4,500 $3,500 - they were all misled and lost all their money!! Stay away from this company!

Do not waste your money! They do not respond. I have called , emailed and messaged them over the last week because they are posting "Local" information from a completely different state on my Facebook! I asked them to stop and they do not. Newsletters go out with this incorrect information. I also paid for 2 sites but they use the same information for both sites.
Jessie is our technical point of contact for our sites we sponsor. She is always offering helpful advice and tips and tricks for cross marketing. We have learned a lot since we started sponsoring sites from not only Jessie, but Matt and Grant as well.
If you work the Parkbench plan you will get business. They lay everything out for you and you just plug in with businesses and off you go.
Sal C with Parkbench is slowly but surely helping open new territory for me in this thing called video interviewing. Being one who needs to 'see' it i one transitional piece from beginning to end, Sal had the super idea of doing a join.me session and simply showing me the steps . Since joining the Park Bench family, I have gone through many different learning experiences. Lets be honest, I am a person who is set in their ways. However, Alicia has been awesome in getting me to try new methods regarding advertising. My biggest goal is to get the Homes for Heroes program rolling in the Delaware Valley. This is an opportunity for a realtor to give back to the five groups of people who are the back bone of our community during crisis and everyday activities.
A special thanks to Ken Pitts (Keystone Funding) a lender who I have worked with for 20 years. He is from Delaware County and invited me to become active in this group. 9/11 attacked our very being. Unfortunately a good friend lost his son in the towers on 9/11. It was so difficult watching his family go through this horrific situation. We can never let this situation ever happen again. Parkbench has been a lot of fun. It is sometimes difficult for me to put myself out there in unfamiliar situations, but I have found that every single interview I have done has resulted in a new relationship that I can continue to cultivate. It is really easy to sit down with someone to talk about the city that I love and get to know about their business or contributions to the community. Real Estate is about nurturing relationships and Parkbench is the perfect platform to do that. Before my last interview, the business owner did her homework and knew more about me than I did about her, and she was prepared to ask me about real estate after the interview without me even having to bring it up. I am going to their home this week for a listing presentation, and hopefully sell them a piece of property to build a new home on. Piss Poor , on getting pushed to buy and I was seriously considering , I told the sales person I will get back to you in a day , as I need to analysis the program , she asked me what is your scale of interest , I said its 5 as of now . On that she said may be you are not a right fit for the system .
Very 3rd grade sales approach . I could not pick her call so she called in 5 mnts from a different number .
First they said its exclusive territories/communities , when I said the community I work is not available , on that I was advise - oh you could take a neighbouring community and you can still interview business of the community you work ( though some other person has paid for its exclusivity ) as long as that business is serving people from other communities as well . OF COURSE every small Retail or Service Oriented industry is catering to people from various communities. Then How is this exclusive .
Please ask for a trial ..........every Genuine IT SERVICE company dose that . I am thank full that I got told you are not FIT FOR IT.

I have been using Parkbench for 3 months and am finding it to be an effective tool for me as a real estate broker. I obtained my license shortly after relocating to a new area, and was looking for ways to help me learn the area and meet people quickly. Parkbench provided a natural avenue to accomplish that. The business owners I contact for interviews are appreciative of (and surprised at) the fact that there is no charge to them for the opportunity to promote their business.
