I have been using Park Ave. Radiology for over 30 years, always with great service. Now I trying to schedule a cat scan and have been held on the phone for over 30 minutes. i guess your acquisition has changed your respect and accountability to your patients as it's changed for the worse. I used to be able to call and actually speak to someone. Now, I cannot get a live person on the phone. Waiting for someone to pick up the phone used to be easy. Shame on you.
Obnoxious & incompetent staff! Indecisive and unorganized doctors..you will lose a full day waiting for them to either make up their minds and/or to be seen by an obnoxious doctor. Note: if your tech has not had lunch, be aware that she will be cranky and even more unorganized and rushed so she can eat her lunch. Go to Garden State Women s Center! They re more competent and sincere
I was really pleased with the servuce provided me from the reception through to the MRI pricess. I, actually, was impressed with the expeditious manner in which I taken care of.
I arrived a bit late due to the wonderful MTA of NYC. Lenox Hill Radiology at Park Ave was very welcoming and humble to addmiting me even though I was late. Thank you for the amazing experience.
Every single person I dealt with from the telephone scheduler to the MRI technician was friendly and SUPER helpful. I love Lenox Hill radiology every time I need an image, which is more often than I d like, I request a referral to Lebox Hill. One of the few bright spots in an otherwise dispiriting healthcare system...if we even believe there IS a system.
First time here. Fast and friendly service. Staff helped with check-in. Nursing staff and Doctors very knowledgeable. I would use this service again if the need arises.
Positives: clean, quiet, convenient, easy to schedule appointments, quickly got read and results accessible electronically.
Room for improvement: Front desk staff were not rude but not particularly warm or inviting. Ultrasound tech was cold and bit on rude side. She asked questions like why did your doctor want this? Are you sure about your pregnancy dates? And did not respond to my questions because she is not supposed to say anything about findings. She then should also not be asking questions. She was sighing and huffing/purring when the study seemed to be taking long time. Very inattentive to my comfort level. Did not make me feel comfortable or ask if position was ok for me. As a patient who is getting an invasive procedure in private parts for the first time it was u peasant to say the least.
No one informed me that the results couldn t be given right away. Every other imaging place my results were given on the spot. Then you guys faxed to the wrong number and my doctor had called and no one returned her call.
The check-in kiosk is gone and I dealt with people at the desk. There was no line. The woman was very nice, but her scanner wasn t working properly and she had to make several attempts to scan my ID. Once checked in, I was seen promptly. The office is being remodeled and the changing area is much nicer. I liked the technician s demeanor at first, but the 3-D breast imaging machine was awkward and I she had to get a bit rough with me to get the images. Overall ok, but a little rough around the edges.
I waited forever to get my MRI done. I waited an hour just to put my stuff in a locker. Then I was left alone for another hour standing there...I wasn t sure what to do so I tracked down a random person (there was no receptionist,) and he led me to one of 2 seats where I could sit and wait. After another hour I went in for the MRI. I needed an X ray taken, so after the MRI I waited another hour for the X ray tech, who freaked out my mom because supposedly he spent so little time in the restroom that she was 99% sure he didn t wash his hands.
My podiatrist (and the MRI tech) said it takes 24 hours to process results. I took my MRI 5 days ago, and when I consulted my podiatrist he said they didn t have any results. They didn't even know I took the MRI. Meanwhile, I ve been walking on my foot without crutches because I thought there must not have been a big problem if the results of the MRI weren t even worth relaying to my podiatrist. In short - if I need any sort of radiology work in the future, I ll choose to travel a bit just to avoid the horrible service here.
