My 15 yr old granddaughter works there. Has since Spring. But we have to DRIVE her up and back. She has no other means of transportation. Wish Dennis Spejgel would take care of that! He was in 7th grade at AMELIA when I was in 10th GRADE at Amelia. Ask him what he did in Mr. GOFORTH's ROOM after my class was over!!

Had a really great time here when visiting with friends. Definitely go on an overcast day to avoid the sun! We had issues with using our meal tickets at the kiosks that involved us having to get refunded for things we shouldn't have been charged for but it was sorted out in the end.
Hoping they add some more vegan friendly options to the park dining!
I had the amazing time at Kings Island this week end. Rode my favorite rides then walked into their Timber-wolf Amphitheater for Spirit Song 2016. For tons of fun find this place on yours Google Map!
Kings Island is a great park, but my husband and I went there for the first time for their Halloween Haunt. It was fantastic, and WAY better than Cedar Point's Halloweekend. If you've never been, you need to go next year!
The rides and attractions are great. So many to choose from of varying degrees of intensity ensures that everyone will have something to do. The only flaw is the heavily inflated food and drink prices in addition to requiring those carrying bags to purchase a locker at some rides.
Did not have all the rides going. They then closed the main rides to make everyone go to the carnival that was about to start, they blamed it on weather that was at least 15 miles away.
Go here every summer! I set aside money for a pass and try to go every weekend. Great food, fun rides, and a good time. Only problem is with parking, if you dont get there early it will take an hour to park and an hour to get to your car. Shuttles would be a really good idea to add to help people to and from their car.
Also more places needed to rest and cool down, it's very hot and overwhelming, maybe add quiet rest stations for people that are getting too hot or tired. There should also be more benifeits to a gold pass, like free drinks included in it. Or maybe an all year food thing should come with drinks.
I love that I live close to have a lot of family fun at one price throughout the summer. However these past 2 years I have been highly dissatisfied with the employees attitudes.
Nothing bad but prices. The best idea is to make some sandwiches and bring drinks and go back to your car find somewhere to sit and eat then go back in. Saves money.
Fantastic roller coasters!! Food situation is terrible, but I guess that's normal for a theme park. Not only is it overpriced but it's terrible quality unless you want to wait forever for a franchise meal.
As fun as it was when I was a kid. Go on a Monday or early on a weekday to avoid the crowds. The beast is a classic. Backlot stuntcoaster is a fun fast alternative for roller coaster rider that don't like a huge drop. We didn't do Banshee and Diamondback, next time.
Awesome lights display. I haven't been in years, so didn't expect to ride a rollercoaster in Ohio in the middle of December. All round a great weekday evening stop. Fun, festive, polite, "Christmas" atmosphere.
Ever since Cedar Fair purchased this world-class amusement park in 2006, things have been looking bright for Kings Island. Since 2007, they have added 5 new roller coasters (a new one is coming in 2020), and they have all been amazing, thrilling attractions.
While there are plenty of thrill rides here, they also have an amazing kids area. Up until 2019, their kids area won Best Kids Area in the World for 17 consecutive years. Planet Snoopy boasts three children s roller coasters, several flat rides for the kids, and an all around great atmosphere (the atmosphere doesn t only apply to Planet Snoopy, but to the park as a whole).
If you re ever traveling through Mason and have a couple of hours to spare, check this place out! We have been coming here for 6 consecutive years now and we haven t gotten bored once.
Yes, Cedar Point is the superior park, but Kings Island is a very close second.
Known for its thrill rides, but older folks can ride around on the railroad, have lunch or dinner, shop for sweets, and see a show. Highly recommend online ticket packages that include admission, parking & fountain drinks.
Slightly pricey, but the ride wait time has decreased, and the waterpark alone is worth the season pass. If I had to pay daily rate, I would have only rated it one star. Too much too see and do in one day, and the price is exorbitant. Buy the season pass. Now that they have winterfest, we dont have to spend as much visiting the Festival of Lights.
The best way to enjoy King's Island is with a season pass. The additional $90 for the meal plan and $30 for the free refillable drink pays for itself in three to four visits. Always get there when they open if you want to ride your favorite ride.
We waited in line for the Beast twice! Never rode it which sucked. I will definitely go back but not on a Saturday. The park is awesome but you won't get many rides in if you visit on the weekend.
The orion is a 5 star ride kings island is always great. July 25 reduced capacity and hours due to covid masks are required and the staff sanitized the rides often. Go for the fast pass if you want to ride coasters and pass up the long lines, pricey but worth it. Kings Island is always great
We live near Cedar Point but we like Kings Island for littler ones. We took or 2 year old grandson. We were disappointed when we went over to the water park and were told it closed early due to low attendance. Had we known we would have gone over there earlier.
I has a fast pass for the first time, amazing. Only thing is they have a new fast pass plus for certain rides andyou can't use the regular fast pass . Other than that, I got to ride banshee like 4 times!
I was stopped by a worker while getting in line. "You'll have to rent a locker. You can't take your bag or cup with you." I say I'll set it by the loading area. I understand they're not responsible, but I doubt my used cup would be stolen. And after I put my wallet in my pocket, my purse only has sunscreen, makeup, breath mints.... That ill risk it. He says No. I run over and quickly pay for the locker. When I go to rejoin my group, I'm stopped by a rude young worker telling me I'm "cutting line!" I explain I was ALREADY THERE. They made me leave and buy a locker. That my children are in line. My family is still in eye shot, it's not like I was going all the way to the front. He embarrasses me "Ma'am that IS CUTTING! I'm not going to let you cut!" So I retrieve my stuff. No refund even though I only used it for a couple minutes. And the kicker is, my brother-in-law rode with an EMPTY SEAT next to him!
My favorite place as a kid is still a favorite place as an adult. It changes as the years go by, but gets better in so many ways. The Beast has been an exhilarating experience ever since I first got tall enough to get on. It never disappoints. And I love trying the new stuff that always seems to be getting added. One tip I would have, though - if you get the wristband fast-pass thing that gets on you on all the rides with no waiting, pace yourself. At least if you're my age. I rode four huge coasters in the space of about half an hour, and then noticed I really needed to take a break! (For that I recommend the Festhaus... but not inside.)
Kings Island is awesome. I've been a hundred times and it just gets better and better. I will say, the food is ridiculously expensive.. I mean, yes it's an amusement park, but still. A pretzel with cheese is like 7 bucks.. other than that, you can buy a ticket and have free drinks and parking included so I definitely suggest that! They have things for pretty much everyone too so that's awesome!
Park had many rides shut down. Paid extra for drink and food all day passes. However we were told continually it's not accepted. So paid a ton extra, but never got to use it. Asked for a refund was denied.
The rides were good and everything but I strongly recommend not playing any of the claw maschines at this Park. Even after playing 15+ times for a small prize I was not able to get anything. If you are in to games I would recommend playing literally anything besides these maschines.
Rides for all ages. Variety of food for all palettes. The downfall is it's quite expensive. Plan on spending $100 or more in food and drinks for a family of four. Overall my 7 and 5 year old had a blast.
