Ever since Cedar Fair purchased this world-class amusement park in 2006, things have been looking bright for Kings Island. Since 2007, they have added 5 new roller coasters (a new one is coming in 2020), and they have all been amazing, thrilling attractions.

While there are plenty of thrill rides here, they also have an amazing kids area. Up until 2019, their kids area won Best Kids Area in the World for 17 consecutive years. Planet Snoopy boasts three children s roller coasters, several flat rides for the kids, and an all around great atmosphere (the atmosphere doesn t only apply to Planet Snoopy, but to the park as a whole).

If you re ever traveling through Mason and have a couple of hours to spare, check this place out! We have been coming here for 6 consecutive years now and we haven t gotten bored once.

Yes, Cedar Point is the superior park, but Kings Island is a very close second.
