I am a long time fan of Kings Island...since opening year. I went yesterday with a friend after a 10-15 year hiatus. The staff were AMAZING. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very sweet! Excellent customer service in a world sorely lacking! I am glad Paramount is no longer the owner; I HATED the commercialism that they brought to the park.

Really great park and really big it's better to purchase gold pass though it really does pay it's self in 3 visits

It's a fun place to go but long waits and overpriced stuff take away from the overall value of the park. You know it's overpriced when a foot long from subway is more than $5

Terrible service; I recommend going to another park.

Kings Island is a great place. However, I would HIGHLY suggest bringing a cooler full of food and drinks. This place is WAY too pricey when you want to get food and drinks. It's a ripoff. My mom and I went and ended up spending over $30 on 4 small slices of pizza and two breadsticks that could be compared to the size of big thumb and two drinks. You can get a large pizza and 2 drinks for the same price at almost any pizza joint outside of the park. A bottle of water it about $4 if I remember correctly, which is absolutely insane. I understand that it costs a lot of money to run a place like KI but I'm pretty sure they don't need to make their food and drink prices so high. If they would lower the prices they would bring in so much more money because more people could actually afford it. Also, parking is a ripoff. $20 for a parking spot. A freaking parking spot for a parking lot that isn't all that good and confusing at times. I like the maps that you can get for free once you get in the park but they don't help all that much. Everything is in such a cluster, it's hard to follow the map while you are walking and trying to find the coaster you want to ride. It would be nice to have signs hanging around and pointing you in the direction of the rides there. All they would have to do is buy wooden planks from like Lowes or something and paint the name of the rides on there. Hell, if they really want to save money all they have to do is go out in the woods and search for fallen trees and then cut them to size and paint the names on them. All in all its a fun park but things could definitely be improved. MAINLY PRICES.

Was very cool went to their winterfest they had some beautiful light displays set up. Being my first time there i was a little confused on what all was going on it was pretty hectic and chaotic but it was still very cool kids loved it. I would definitely recommend whoever goes bring some extra money just in case as things are pretty pricey. It was still a great time and I would highly recommend you go see it.

A must see and enjoy with the entire family. Kings island Winterfest was nothing short of amazing. So much to see and do. From ice skating on the fountains, to wonderfully decorated shops, snoopyland, a winter train ride through the 12 days of Christmas. All so beautifully done. There was an on-site glass blower, who made gorgeous detailed roses and various knick knacks. For $11.99 you can purchase a cup to get unlimited hot cocoa. Wonderful live shows. That was our first time,, and we will be back next year for their New Year's Eve party.

Great family place. Best to get tickets online or from Kroger to get best deal. Food and drinks a bit expensive. If you can, opt for drink band or souvenir cup. My fave section is the water park. I can sit back and relax while kids are playing.

The rides are fun for the family if you are lucky enough to go when its not crowded. Otherwise get ready to wait in line for over an hour easy for each ride. The no smoking policy is a joke. There are always people sneaking and smoking everywhere. They need to incorporate healthier food choices too. Not everyone enjoys the fried greasy food that is always present at amusement parks. The park also really needs to check the bathrooms more. Not only have I gone in to have the bathroom reek of marijuana but they are disgusting with feces and urine all over the place. I know you've got tons of people going in and out but I think they can afford to hire more people to clean. I would also get so sick and tired of the people who would just go under the ropes at the drink refill stations and fill their cups without paying. When it's 90 degrees and above and you've been waiting in line for over 30 minutes at times to get a drink the last thing you want to see are people skipping the line and not paying. One more thing, if you think there are interesting people shopping at Wal-Mart then you need to go to kings island just to people watch. Some of the outfits and people there never cease to amaze and that's not the good kind of amazing that I'm taking about either!

There is something to do for everyone here. This is an awesome amusement park. I love the thrill rides. There's plenty of them.

Fall update - the mask police have finally disappeared but masks are still to be worn obviously. The decor give the park some much needed character which is apparently paying off because the park has been much more crowded than it was in the summer. Expect 2 hour wait times for the more popular rides.

Great place to visit during the evening hours in the summer due to crowds and hot weather. There are enough coasters on site that allow even busier days at the park to be productive. Highly recommend buying an annual pass along with their drink and dining plan.

During my most recent visit I experienced a security guard that went out of his way twice to be the enforcer of face masks. Mine loosely covered my nose while walking in an open area and he was sure to inform me.

Had a blast. Diamond back was my favorite ride! Smooth yet terrifying planet Snoopy had way more to offer than other theme parks I've taken my kids to. It was the best part for a 6-7 year old

Great rides for all ages of kids. The lines were not very long at all when we went on a Thursday afternoon during the summer. Everything is marked up in price like every other amusement park I've ever been to. The new ride Mystic Timbers does NOT allow bags to be placed on the platform so you have to rent a locker to store your bag if you are going to ride it.

We use go every year in July. Great park but now I live in SC.

One of our favorite places to go! We look forward to a summer at KI every year. So many fun coasters. Food is far too expensive there and it gets crowded, but if you buy a gold pass and go 3 times or more it s very worth it. Take snacks and stay hydrated! Ride everything!

King's island is sparce on workers before Memorial Day. Ride lines will be quick, but they lack food workers. Meals can take a long time to get through lines.

Love this place I have been going there for so long I was the goal passholder for 10 years I still go as of today I love how they keep adding new rides every year I like how they do Halloween stuff I wish they had more bigger rides though and scarier and more beer choices also food court where various food or served

They have great Roller coasters and a lot of fun this for toddlers. Shor 7 year old might be bored because they are to short to go on the big rides and to Mature for the younger ones. If you are a veterinarian and have proof you get in for $35.00 if not its $75.00 but you get one free admission if you pay full price and come back with in the 2 are 3 days.

I wanted this to be a special weekend for someone who doesn't have much. I purchased the entry ticket on-line and upgraded to include a fast pass. I read the descriptions and what I thought I purchased was the opportunity to advance one time on each attraction. It was not made clear that this was for the haunted houses only. Also, it was not clear that it didn t have any advantage until after 6 p.m. I was very disappointed to learn this. The sad part is that I wanted to check and confirm everything was good with the pass but since I did not purchase a ticket for me to enter the park, I was told at the entrance gate that I could not go to the fast pass office to get the pass or understand more about what I purchased.
I don't beleive in the fast pass upgrade pass to begin with. The $44 entry fee should be enough. By adding the lowest level fast pass, it makes the day more expensive than a day at a Disney Park and this is no where near the quality of a Disney park. I have been going to Kings Island for 40 years but this will be my last trip. I will try Holiday World next time. They currently have a 2 day pass for $29.00

The atmosphere was fantastic! Music was played over speakers through out the park, constant cleaning of the park by staff made the experience a clean one. The availability of drink kiosks made it very convenient to get a drink when needed

Love it all kinds of cool rides and food there but the food is crazy on the prices other that have a blast there

We are passholders and meal plan holders. We love KI and go weekly, sometimes just for dinner. There is a great mix of rides, shows, food, and fun for an entire family and all levels of thrill seekers.

This is the first place i have ever ridden a roller coaster it holds memories that ill never forget and the best staff members who are patient and friendly. Thank you Kings Island for being awesome!

We visited Disney and the cost for a 1-day ticket would've bought our whole family of 6 a Season Pass / Gold Pass to Kings Island Amusement Park.

Who doesn't love the Peanuts Gang and Snoopy!? An excellent kids area with Planet Snoopy and Blue Ice Cream.

Banshee is the best steel and inverted coaster on the planet. You have to get Banshee Ice Cream too! Simply the best.

Their water park "Soak City" is a tremendous value with your Season Pass Gold Pass as well (included with regular park admission).

I highly recommend!

One of the best amusement parks around. It's clean, the staff is always friendly, and there are lots of fun activities. Not only are the rides thrilling but the shows are entertaining. My family and I always have a blast. There is a kids area with lots of rides for kids 2 and up. Plenty of foood options, even a Starbucks. Definitely recommend going at least once. There is also a water park next door. Great wolf lodge located near the park as well so you can make it one amazing vacation.

Don't get me started - games and thrill rides extra? $20 to park and NO SHUTTLES?! costs are outrageous and amenities non-existent. I'm old enough to remember when Kings Island pampered us. And the topper - Chick fil-a?! I was mortified. Will NEVER return til Chick fil-a is gone. They don't even need to be there. This park COMPLETELY SUCKS. go to Wolf Lodge but ask about their policies first.

Other than the cost of everything is so high it was it was awesome

One star for the food & food service. Overpriced & not edible. Ordered a pretzel was told to come back in 20 minutes for fresh. Returned & was sold pretzels that were hours old.

It s roller coasters, theme park style games, and unhealthy food. What s not to love? Just be prepared, it s not a cheap day out, and you ll be waiting in lines. Bring people who are fun to talk to and this won t be an issue.

Was so awesome with the countries and parade and food to enjoy and crafts for kids couldn't be better even in Disney

Hey its kings island what else is there to say. The ticket gets you in the water park and ride park. Great time.

All day drink pass and food passes available. Very convenient and worth every penny.

Still a lot of fun!

I am a season pass holder this year because I got a season pass as a gift. I've went there a few times last year for Winterfest and Halloween Haunt. It is almost not worth getting a ticket for one day because with parking and ticket cost as well as food for the day you are spending over $150 for one person. A season pass cost less than $100 more than that and I can go as much as I want to and eat free when I'm there. I would not buy a pass to this place though. Every thing is super expensive. Rides get old after a few times.

It's a fun place. I prefer cedar point. It's expensive, but you know that going in. Their mobile app is nice as it shows where you are and what's around. It also shows ride times. They have a fairly good assortment of rides for kids.

Bathrooms weren't maintained very well on this visit. It's not very festive...no real excitment around. No music or anything going on other than rides going and people walking and people stuffing their faces.

Great rides and always something to do whether it be shows, character meets or the band walking around the park. Always a good time. Especially Haunt!

It was a little busy but everything was pretty good .

My only complaint is the poor management of the fountain drink refill area under the "Eiffel Tower" when I had gone to refill. There was an infestation of bees and I had to be careful not to get in their way or else I'd probably get stung. Its a potential hazard to someone who is allergic to insect stings. Other than that my experience at Kings Island was phenomenal.

Great little kid rides and kid area, petting zoo, best roller coasters, drink pass is a great deal and a must. Soak City is wonderful also. One of the best amusement parks.

Very discriminating I've only been there twice in my life I've heard a lot of good things about Kings Island I just can't afford it they are only out for very very rich people their clothes are too high their shots are too high they only carry extra small clothes two medium clothes I personally myself I have a stomach I'm not a size 0 I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week I have to pay for a house I have to pay for a car and I have to pay bills and I have to pay for groceries for a luxury like going to Kings Island I personally cannot afford it I would visit very often but I can't afford it and when I do get to go for the second time was just recently I can say I had a really good time but the stuff there is just too high for the only amusement park an hour County they're only out and only have been out for the Richie Rich and what they can get sad I am really sad I wanted to go buy a hoodie and they only had them in small and medium they do not believe in bigger people go very discriminating my opinion only my opinion only and I know I don't matter because I'm just one little person sincerely Ada Vanderpool

It's fun. We had a great time. The roller coasters are pretty good. Cedar Point has some better ones, but the lines are much, much shorter at King's Island. Most lines are only 10 minutes or less.

Plenty to do, even if you don't ride roller coasters (which I do not). The live entertainment is fun, food is decent to good (if expensive), and the park is fun to walk around. And then there's Soak City!
