The haunt nights are lots of fun! I will say if you want to see more than 1 or 2 of the haunted houses, you will need to pay the extra money for the freight lane passes. It gets expensive if you're taking a family, but you will be able to see them all if you do. We went 2 years ago without the freight lane pass and spent most the night waiting in line just to see 1 of them. We purchased the passes this year and saw all 9. If you are a die hard haunted house fan, you may be disappointed in these as they are not super scary, but they decorate the haunts pretty well and the park itself looks awesome!

This park has rebounded since Cedar Fair has purchased it. I was unsure at first, being more familiar with Paramount I was sad to see it go. However, they have been improving the park NON-STOP since they bought it. Each year, there is a new attraction unlike the ones you have seen before. The rides are well taken care of and the employees are very respectful. The park is also extremely family friendly and full of fun. Yes, it is expensive for food and entry to the park. As a result, I suggest purchasing a season pass which is a couple dollars more than a daily ticket and for $20-$30 dollars more you can get season drink passes. There are also meal plans available for purchase and this ensures you can see all of the park because you will be able to go back again. A season pass also allows discounts on everything in the park and FREE parking!

I've been going here for 15 years now. Great amusement park with some pretty respectable roller coasters. It's kind of lost its 'park' like feeling and is focused more on thrill and entertainment. Not bad, but certainly different than it was.

Customer service was terrible. Made my handicapped mother walk from entrance to middle of park just to be told they could bring us a wheel.chair. other then that it was a good day. Prices are high

A great park to go to with some great rides. Loved that when I attended they still had to long hours though they have since reduced them. Lines were a little long and social distancing was not great though mask enforcement was on point. I look forward to returning to the park again in the future!

I have always enjoyed Kings island but I think hmthe new ownership of cedar fair is really taking the park in the right direction, kids area is amazing and award winning. Diamondback, mystic timbers, and banshee are awesome the beast is still the most iconic wooden rollercoaster in the world. There are some low points, vortex and a few other coasters have not aged well, but it's an amazing place for coasters fiends or just a family day out.

Their events have also really been stepped up, both Halloween haunt and Winter fest we're amazing!

Winterfest rocks! Great job on the decs, lighting, shows, ice skating, hot chocolate deal, etc., etc. Can't say enough good things about it. (Only wish Panda Express had more help. Super long line and they were understaffed both times we were there on 8 Dec and 21 Dec 2017). Superb job on all the lights and displays! Great variety of shows and tons of talented folks. Didn't know what to expect, with this being the first year for Winterfest at Kings Island, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Makes having our Gold Passes all the more worth it! Great job, Kings Island! Thanks! Al & Janette (Centerville OH)

Kings island truly deserves the king in its name as it is a top tier amusement park with excellent theming and was very clean. The coasters are amazing, orion, banshee, diamondback and mystic timbers are some of the stand out coasters.

The park itself was great, but on our Memorial Day visit we have never seen such disgusting restrooms. Both men s and women s restrooms were in terrible shape at multiple stops and multiple locations. They definitely need to work on this. We actually left earlier than we intended because of this.

It was fun going growing up as a kid, and it's fun now! Also would like to mention it's well worth paying for the advanced parking as it gets you close to the entrance once you are in and get your hand stamped you can come and go as you please don't forget to pack your cooler!

There's really nothing bad to say about King's Island. There is something for everyone, the cost is reasonable and the Gold Pass perks are great. I was happy to hear when they brought back the meal plan option and pleasantly surprised when they announced the drink plan as well. The cups you used to get for the season are still available, but the drink plan allows those who don't want to carry a cup all day to do so and still get drinks as needed.

The new ride this year (2017) is Mystic Timbers and I would say it's just as good if not better than the Beast!

Overall, worth going numerous times through the summer!

Winterfest is a great event, however the skating is not set up well and even though I did the time online and I went to get my skates 30 minutes early I still didnt get to the ring until 30 minutes after my time to be on the ice. Also very limited rides. I would advise to get the unlimited hot chocolate option!

Went on a Monday. Short wait times. Food and drinks are expensive. Bought tickets at Kroger for $48 then learning military discount tickets are $33. Wasn t able to exchange them or refund the tickets bought at Kroger. Rained at 4 which shut down everything. Still a good time but plan on spending a lot of money and picking a clear day.

Really impressed with the coasters here! Friendly staff. Disappointed in their child care center and lack of offerings for babies. However really fun time and they've done a nice job with their covid procedures. Will come again but not until they're open more. Only on the weekends is a horrible experience because it gets busier than necessary

Love it! We got passes and come as much as we can. Its affordable with passes such as the park pass, food pass and drink pass, I love the E-Z-pay option. Food is a little pricey but merchendice is reasonable

Based on a visit during the middle of the week in August. If I could plan to go annually during this same time of year I will go every year. Walked on or had a 10 minute wait for all rides, ALL! Weather was perfect. Only downfall to our trip was the lack of rides our six year old daughter could ride bc of hight restrictions but we had no real control over that.

I love KI! This trip was great. Not a ton of people there, wait times were no longer than 30 to 45 minutes. We got to the park around 5pm and we were able to ride Diamondback twice, Mystic Timbers, the Beast, the Racer, Adventure Express, Surf Dog, Vortex, Flight of Fear and Drop Zone. The fireworks were going off as we were riding Diamondback the second time and it was a really amazing experience. I get a season pass every year so these rides aren't new to me but this was a really great start to the season!

If you don't enjoy this place and all it has to offer you need to re evaluate your outlook on life. Great park has something for everyone. Awesome kiddie land and world class coasters for us big kids.

Depends on the day. Been 3 times this year (when they are not closed for a private event even though I have season's pass). They have 1/2 the staff they should but this could be spring staff. Food lines are still horribly long with only 1/2 lines open. They shrunk the all day or season drink cups and they are extremely cheaper made. Very thin and feel like they will break. Hope it gets better but the penny pinching is alot more apparent this year so far. Last year was awesome at KI. Family enjoyed every time, just different this year. Paint the Racers!

PERFECT AMUSEMENT PARK!!!!!!!!!! I travel all over to ride different coasters and Kings Island is still one of my favorites next to Cedar Point. Ohio has two of the best parks in the world!

The roller coaster side of the park is superb. There is likely to be a ride that everyone will enjoy. From intense roller coasters to kiddie rides, this park has it all. The water park, however, is somewhat lacking in polish. It isn't so much the water slides and other attractions that can make visiting the water park a drag, but the paths to get there. These paths are usually hot, which isn't unexpected; however, in some places the path is also textured, which can be quite painful on bare feet.

I ve been going to kings island every summer for as long as I remember. I live in Indiana and I drove there yesterday. The rides are great and i ve always loved going, however yesterday it was completely different. I was walking yesterday to a ride and was questioned on why my mask was below my nose. I told her I had a medical condition and only wore a mask when i couldn t social distance. She continued to follow me and get very close to my face and I told her I had a medical condition and she was asking what it was. Completely disrespectful and also against the law. I wish I would have gotten her name but I didn t. I would have given lower stars but because they cleaned efficiently and the orion was fun.

Fun fun fun.

Fun fun fun.
So many rides to enjoy. Also has a great water park. There's a train in the park that takes you to the water park and back.

Very fun! We didn't get a chance to ride everything but we will be back. The picture machines was broke so that wasn't cool since we paid for the whole picture package but besides that we had a ball.
