Definitely need the fast pass plus. It's definitely worth it, while trying to get a final ride on the vortex!
Definitely need the fast pass plus. It's definitely worth it, while trying to get a final ride on the vortex!
Awesome theme and water park go there every year or every other year
Kingzone is the best Kings Island ever been to In The Last 5 Years
We had a blast!!! Always do! With storms in the forecast, we still went and had 9 hours of rides with no lines because everyone stayed home!
Great place to have lots of fun!!! I love the wooden rollercoasters! The beast is a BEAST!! Super fast at night and super fun. Did I say fun? Yes I did!
It's a great place children. And I love walking around the park
A trip to Kings Island is rare for us so I'm relieved to say today's was amazing. Our son is 4 so we didn't venture outside the kids area ride-wise. Instead, we spent a hot day relaxing in Soak City. There are "pools" for everyone in the family to enjoy. It can be a pricey experience to ne sure, though.
So much fun. Love taking the kids to snoopy town & waterpark
Great park, friendly staff, and one reason I love kings island is not because all of the amazing rides they have, but I have NEVER had a bad bathroom experience. This is hands down the cleanest park I have ever been to. Even just walking around the park there is no trash.
Love the adrenaline rush cant wait to check out Orion this year!!! Best kiddie land around hands down!!
Family had a great time. Prices are high for admission and food.
Great rides for all ages, food prices are outrageous, soak City is fun also.
If there is ever better a better park,I wanna see it
I hadn't been to Kings Island in over 20 years and I missed it so much. My girls loved it too!
Im with 4 grandkids my 10 year is scared to death and they want 12 dollars not to scare him and not open during day on saturday but was closed last 2 weeks for private parties been member for 20 years i think this will be last year
always a great time, we took sanitizing wipes in zip locks, and used them on all the rides while getting on, social distancing in place as well.
The coasters aren't as big as Cedar Point, but they are still pretty fun, the biggest bonus is that the wait times are significantly shorter. I loved The Beast - from where we were sitting (in the middle of a car), the ride wasn't too rough. The Drop Tower was fun. You don't want to miss out on The Diamondback, and Mystic Timbers had lots of air time. And don't forget to go up in the Eiffel Tower, it provides a great view of the park.
I love coming here, I ve been coming ever since I was a child. Try and come on a weekday while school is on if you d like to avoid massive slow lines.
Had a lot of fun !! First I have been in 15 years!!
Rides are great. But food and drinks just too inflated.
Great place for People of all ages. There is something for everyone and you're bound to have fun
Always lots of family fun. Definitely worth it to get the season pass!
Great time witg the family. Park employees and ambassadors were very friendly and helpful.
Been going to kings island since I was 4. They have a lot of awsome rides and the new giga coaster is a record breaker fastest tallest longest giga in the world good job kings island
Horrible, dirty, way over priced, mold in 3 of the mens restrooms. Will never go back there again, Cedar Point is way better by far!
I really just love roller coasters and I hope to go again
This place is just amazing especially with being rated the 3rd best theme park in the country but all though this place is already amazing they need to remove vortex and add a Giga coaster where fire hawk once stood. Kings island has the potential to be the best in the country because they have so much land to expand on unlike cedar point (1st in the country).
My family and I love going here in the summer and fall. We go late in the evenings when the crowd is smaller.
It was good and employees were going around making sure people were wearing mask. Wait times for the rides were wrong. I'm assuming because no one was using social distancing in lines. They have 6ft marked in lines but noone was following. I would have likes to see them inforce this rule. Also would have like more accurate wait times If it says 30 minutes for a wait it was like more than a hour wait time. Overall it was a pleasant and safe experience.
Went for winterfest. Lots of entertainment, plenty of casual rides open (plus mystic timbers), and great hot chocolate. Fun little shops open in addition to the usual. You can ice skate and even decorate cookies with Mrs Claus.
LOVE IT! This was my playground as a kid. Had season passes every year. My favorite amusement park, hands down.
Myself and Grandkids, had a ball. My 18 month old, loves the carousel.
With covid it made the lines even longer...and of course u are not open as long so after waiting over 2 hours per ride we got to ride 4 rides...so that part wasnt great..a really long drive for 4 rides...but the people there are very nice...
great theme park for the whole family. lots of roller coasters
Lots of cool things to do, fun park! The only con is the high entrance price
It was fun! Had alot of laughs. It was hot, but their not to blame. Perfect family activity.
Such a joy to get out and have have so much fun in a safe and friendly environment. King's Island has always been special to me, but i cannot appreciate them enough for their dedication to keeping their guests safe. The staff and entire experience was top notch! Thank you, it truly was a best day!
This is one of the best places to go have some family fun in Ohio! With fun rides and friendly staff, as well as tons of rides to check out, there is just so much to do! There are some games to play and they also have a train to ride! They also have their own app, which tells you about wait times, ride descriptions, all from a map! And, who wouldn't want to spend a few minutes in Planet Snoopy? If you need a fun place to go for the whole family Kings Island is the place to do it!
Huge park that is home of The Beast, the longest wooden coaster in the world
nice park, great selection of things to do for smaller children. food and drinks are a little pricey but overall not to bad. try and go during low attendance times or waits can be long. overall a good park.
Nice park. Just bring a lot of extra cash if you are going to eat here. Food is at least twice what you would pay for the same thing outside the park. Parking is $20. You can pack your lunch and get your hand stamped to go eat in your car to save money.
The roller coasters are awesome the water slides not so much
A fantastic, clean, and safe amusement park for families, while still having some large rollercoasters for thrillseekers!
I love this place! Brings back so many memories good and bad!
So fun! Friendly staff. Water park is great but half of it was shut down most of the time I was there.
Still has all the great rides and some new ones. You have GOT to try the fast-pass! Love!
I did not enjoy myself I spent money and could not ride Majority of the rides. My thighs are too big for their roller coasters and the whole point of me coming to Kings Island was to ride the rides not only was I the one who could not ride but other bigger people could not fit in some of the rides and I feel like if we re going to spend the money we should be able to ride the rides as well as the thinner people!!! So with that being said I just wanted to let the people at kings Island know that they should make rides available for all sizes of humans and not just small arguments or they should be adjustable for our size seats and all!!!
Great place to take your kid. Not comparable to Cedar Point but still fun. Definitely try to come here at least once to experience it.
This place was fun. Haven't been to an amusement park in about 10 years. Has great roller coasters but could use more fans through out the park for the hot days without a breeze. The unlimited drink cup was a great deal for a hot day.A must do when in the area. We came from South Carolina to visit family and Kings Island made for a fun day.
Everything is fun there I lost my past it was not in lost and found so they said I gotta pay 15 hours to get another one will you know why and that binay gold pass ever again and I'm not given them $15 but all and now it's fun
It's so fun they have a lot of rides, they also give a season pass, so you can go all year long, you can go to in the water park and park for free, if you have a season pass
Had a good time, but it wasn't cheap. I wish they'd use Disney's "free 3 fast-pass" program instead of charging an arm and a leg like they do now.
More of a family park more rides for younger kids and family rides our kids of all ages from teens to 1 yr loved it the water park is included in ticket price! Barely a wait for most rides!
One of the best amusement parks to go to. 10/10 would recommend going there again. Love this place
Such a great place for the family. Rides for all ages. The food is great! We have enjoyed the fall decor this year. It is my kids' favorite place to go.
Great park with great coasters and nice theming in certain areas
Overall great rides and pretty good food choices.
The food trucks are my favorite stop for a snack. The water park is nice, but needs more chairs to lay on. You have to be there at open to get chairs in the water park. Food is a lil pricey. If you plan on eating more than twice that day. Get a days meal pass and you can eat every 90min. Two meals is about the same price as a pass. They brought back the cars. Now we just need the smurfs ride boats back. LoL
Too big, too loud, too many "mega" roller coasters and not enough for those of us who aren't that brave!
Not enough shopping either, and tickets are almost prohibitively expensive.
I really love this place. My siblings were kinda jealous that I went with my friends. I will always come back here for the summer or at least try to. Great food,(scary) and amazing rides and even better:The eiffel tower is a good place to go to get a good birds-eye view of the park. Once again,I love this place and its a good place to be with your family and friends.
Great time! Great family park as well. This was my first time in 20 years and I'll be back a few times before the end of the season. I highly recommend going in the tower for some great view of the park. The staff is great too. They have been keeping up on the cleaning so if you have doubts during this time, I feel safer here then at a Walmart or store.
Reading the most helpful and recent other reviews, lots of negative staff experiences and how poor parks and food and basic amenities being trashed in a way, it's dangerous for my family. Thanks for all the helpful reviews guys and I am cancelling my trip this Labor day weekend. Thanks again...
This place is so much fun! Definitely worth the price!
I haven't visited this park in years, but as I remember it is great fun.
A great start to the summer, not to hot or to crowded. With that being said lines moved very quickly
Kings Island does it all, and they do it really well. Their food is getting better, but it still has a ways to go...keep adding more unique food items. Their rides can be a little agressive at times, but most are fun. Coaster-wise, my favorites are Banshee, The Bat, The Racer, Diamondback and Mystic Timbers. I also love that KI is back to having three seasons of operation with the regular season, Halloween Haunt and now the return of Winterfest!
very good for the kids but the lines get really bad
I felt like I was in a communist country. It cost the same as normal, parking too, but all rides at half capacity so all we did was wait in line all day. If you're willing to pay for a ticket and take your chances with covid-19, then you should be able to have normal expectations at the park and everywhere else too. If you don't want to, then don't go.
So, between those things, and park workers patrolling and yelling at people to put their masks up, separate, etc. it was a waste of time and money!
Best place ever highly recommend riding the beast and going onto the Eiffel tower to view the park from above, kinda expensive food if you have a gold pass I'd recomend getting the dining plan and drink plan for the season, Halloween haunt is amazing, great mazes. They also have winterfest which is great for family's!
First time I took my oldest here went on a Thursday, lines were quick hardly any wait, food was VERY PRICEY, pictures they had some issues and got home realized the shorted us a couple and 20 for pictures my own fault should have checked but too excited to go to next ride, lockers had to keep renting lol, but over all a great first experience!!!
Great day at The Island. Lines weren't there to long.
Park is always super clean, and staff are great. Wait times aren't terrible, even when the place is packed. Fast passes are definitely a go to if you hate the wait. Rides are generally very reliable, only ever had one issue with a ride and it was just closed for maintenance.
