Winterfest was wonderful but this years weather, rainy, cut the amount of time we coul attend. Expanded dates would be great.

We are season pass holders, and we continue to renew every year because this is such an awesome place to visit each and every time! We are so happy that Winterfest has been added this year, and our family has visited several times and we thought it was absolutely amazing!! Keep up the great work Kings Island !

Used to go several times a year, and went to Winterfest twice, including the last year of the original series in 1992. This was my first Winterfest since, and the first time with my whole family. It was lots of fun.

I read some of these experiences left on here and I can't help but LOL. I had a KI season pass for over 30 yrs an the park has never been this bad. Cedar fair has destroyed the once great kings island. The park is always dirty the rides brake down because they're not properly maintained because the maintained guys keep quiting because cedar fair won't pay them a decent salary not decent insurance. An not at all reasonably priced. In fact you'd save money driving from Ohio to Disney Florida than pay for their way overpriced almost editable food. Ki use to be an amazing place now it's just sub par at very best.

Nice place but if you feel like traveling Cedar Point is the best you can get in Ohio

Wife and I went to their water park - Soak City. This place was a lot of fun and entry is included when buying a ticket to either park (also included with Gold Pass). Theere is about an even mix of body slides and tube slides, all of which get the heart racing! This is a great place to bring the family for a day of fun in the water.

There is a reason Kings Island has had the best kids area in the world for the last 18 years. It is awesome!

UPDATE: due to their new requirements making attendees go through the ringer, I'll never go back until they lift these COVID restrictions. Make a statement like, "ride at your own risk" don't require everyone to be miserable.

Had a great time. Not as crowded as Cedar Point. Good price to get in. Rode most of the coasters without the fast line thing, so that's a plus. The coasters overall were good. Loved Beast (which i rode in the 80s) and Banshee. The drink deal for 14 bucks for a cup served two for a day. Great wet rides to cool off too, CONGO! Overall a great place, just redo the dang parking lot already.

I've been going to Kings Island for over 40 years and let me tell you, the park is looking pretty shabby. We stayed most of the day in the water park on our most recent visit which was really fun but really could use a coat of paint. There is peeling paint on the kids slides and the kids area is very sun bleached and washed out. They rake in thousands of dollars a day and I wish they would put a little bit more back into the park to make it nice and pretty and fun for the kids. The swimming pool isn't very cold and the water is really cloudy and that's just kind of weird. I wish they would fix that too. Pool water is supposed to be nice and clear. One other thing, searching people's bags to make sure that they're not bringing in popcorn or carrot sticks is ridiculous and petty that has to stop immediately! The quality of the food versus the price is really really bad. As far as the rides go, if you are even remotely overweight forget fitting in the seats because you're not going to be able to and you will be kicked off the ride and embarrassed in front of everyone. This park is not set up for overweight people. What a horrible message to send to the American public when you're charging $50 a ticket!

Great time with the kids went for the ugliest sweater contest . didn't win but great time.

Do the gold passes with food every year love it great bargain

Banshee was really fun and yea very good service. Workers are really cool. But I had a scare. I rode the diamondback 2 times 1st time it was fun 2nd time my seat wasn't locked all the way so it was locked half way so the whole ride I was holding on to the restraint so I wouldn't fall out. Other than that really awesome time

I love how Kings Island is great around the whole year. The rides are amazing, and WinterFest makes you feel good.

The rides look dangerous but they're not. Not that many people die but some do.

WOW!!! THIS DAY WAS FOR MY SON'S 16TH BIRTHDAY. THE EXPERIENCE BROUGHT ME BACK TO MY FIRST VISIT IN 1977, WHICH CINCINNATI REDE DAY. THIS PARTICULAR DAY WAS THE HALLOWEEN THEME AND WOO! GREAT EVENT AND WELL ORGANIZED. THE FOOD WAS STUPENDOUSLY DELICIOUS...I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE I RODE THE VORTEX. THANK YOU KINGS ISLAND AND THEIR WONDERFUL STAFF

Great rides and attractions, but the service isn't great. Lines were very long when we went, so it's worth it to buy fast lane.

We always have fun! Family friendly place. We have season passes so we go frequently. We never go on Saturdays though because the lines are insane!

Nice place but it's been along time since I was there.

Rides for adults, rides for kids, and plenty of rides both old and young can ride together. Great place. Definitely buy the meal plan even if you only go for 1 day. It's totally worth it!

Lines are generally shorter than most amusement parks, so you can actually make it through most of the rides in a single day. Food is decent and service is mediocre, but you take it with a grain of salt. Most of the employees there are high school kids needing a summer job. Overall 4 stars for short lines, decent food and decent service.

Pro tip: the Vortex hardly ever has a significant line and it's a badass coaster. See you there!

Fun, but definitely not the best park in Ohio! Customer service is great, so why not a 5, size of the park, ride choices, & mundane food. But still a fun place to spend the day. We highly recommend the VIP tour, it's the best way to see any amusement park!

Kings Island is absolutely the funniest place I have ever been to. People say that Cedar Point is better, but to me that's not true. I believe that Kings Island is a million times better than Cedar Point, weather its the friendly workers, or the awesome thrilling rides, going to Kings Island will always be #1 in my book. I grew up with Kings Island over the years, and each time I go I get more and more excited, and it makes me sad when I eventually have to leave, since I have had so many memories there. Some rides I would like to recommend( in no particular order.)

1. White Water Canyon (You Will Get Wet, You May Get Drenched.)
2. The Beast, which holds the record for the worlds longest wooden roller coaster.
3. Diamondback
4. Drop Tower
5. Windseeker
6. Flight Of Fear
7. Eiffel Tower (You get a great overview of the entire park.)
8. Banshee
9. Delirium
10. Viking Fury

This is a great amusement park fun for the entire family, if you are in Ohio and you trying to find something fun to do, go to Kings Island!

The wearing mask sucks bad other then that it was alot of fun

I personally wouldn't rate it that high, because I get motion sickness (although I do love Diamondback), but my family really enjoys this place, so I split the difference.

Cool place to take the family IF you have about $300 to blow

I ve been coming here for as long as I can remember. Weekday mornings are nice for smaller wait times. Weekends soak city is absolutely packed full. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful. It would be better if you didn t need to purchase a locker to hold your items for the newest big rides, the lockers are expensive... actually everything at the park is. If you have a large family bring a cooler for food to keep in the car.

It has a good line-up of roller coaster rides ( > 10) . I tried the Diamondback ( a hypercoaster with drop > 200 ft) , the Banshee ( world's longest inverted steerl roller coaster), the Beast ( longest wooden roller coaster).

There's also a Planet Snoopy section for smaller kids.

Do not purchase anything from this morally and ethically bankrupt company. Even if you do not use any of their services, they will still keep your money for a season pass and quote the law that allows them to do so. I asked them, as a human being, to return my money because I had not even stepped foot into their park to utilize my pass and they refused. I will never even think of taking anyone in my family there and I will not rest until every person I come in contact with knows they are a morally and ethically bankrupt company.

As a person who s been to this park 72 times this season, been to a total of 16 other parks and ridden 130 rollercoasters. I can firmly say this park is my second favorite. Great staff, great rides, great food, and an overall fantastic experience. One of the best parks in the world easily.

This place is okay but definitely loosing their touch especially since I know for a fact that they won't even look at this review and comment.

Staff was really on it making sure all people kept their mask on lines move smooth had no issues was not a lot of people even though it was packed good job Kings Island

Number of rides down in a row was 3. Adventure Express, Windseeker, and The Beast (which later had 2-3 more mishaps). Otherwise it was riding a lesser thrill rating ride and then hitting up another broken down ride. Staff were excellent as per always. Presentation for the KIHaunt was exceptional. The Arcade was honestly almost the only thing we really enjoyed. Save for getting to ride The Beast at the very end finally.

It was a fin and amazing olace for people of all ages and i think everyone should go there a least once in their life.

It's a theme park come on guys get real if you need a review for reasons to visit, get out and live it, it's fun!

Ever growing amusement park with even more new coasters. Water park is also good. Lots of variety in places to eat. Great section for small children.

My trip was very great and loved kings island! Their admission is cheap and they have a lot of good roller coasters, their amazing. Overall I give it a 9.5/10. They also have very short lines for their rides and they go quick, they have a lot of record breaking rides and my favorite was the worlds longest wooden roller coaster, "The Beast." The only promblem I had was their food is on the expensive side and can cost quite a bit but I go to mama rosas and they have good value and good prices!! Loved it

Awesome theme park!! Yes the food and concessions are expensive but the rides/roller coasters are a blast! Overall Definitely the place to go for the summer!!!

Great amusement park! Large variety of rides. Pretty good choices and quality of food. Well maintained and overall pretty clean. If you're a frequent visitor, like my boys and I, I would HIGHLY recommend a season pass(add the food and drink, too), it'll be well worth it!

I honestly love the time I went to Kings Island it was amazing and I would recommend if you haven't been you need to do so.!!

Well laid out and lots of fun rides, the only complaint is the price of the.food.....good god, we bought season passes and got a discount on food but still ended up paying over 200 dollars (for one meal and drinks throughout the day) $4 for a 20 oz. Coke is a bit outrageous

I used to love Kings Island, as I have been going there since I was born. But some of the recent events caused by disrespect and discrimination have changed my feelings about the amusement park. A family member of mine went through a whole day of trouble caused by staff, just because of a slight disability. We were reimbursed for our time and "trouble", but the immature actions taken by the staff will never be forgotten. The park is fun, don't get me wrong, but the treatment my family and I received was utterly ridiculous. We plan on returning to the park again this spring, and hope for smooth sailing. Hopefully Kings Island can redeem themselves this season.

i have been going to this park since 1973 when it opened. i went as a child, as an adult with my child and will take my grandchildren. this park has a full size water park with a great pllay area for very small children, like a year old. very shallow and big. lots of family water fun, and lots of different slides.

i must say the children's part of the park is as wonderful as parts of disney world. they accommodate adults with their children. it is very colorful, up to date area and lots and lots of rides. cant wait for my grandchildren to come along to share time with them.

having a season pass, even if you dont live close is a great idea. use your family season pass, parking pass then all you do is pay for gas and food there. they even have a refill cup you can buy and use all season long.

PS lines are much shorter is you attend tuesday, wednesday or thursday. you will get to ride everything. i have visited this park enough years and days, i know the secrets of riding alot.
