Wow, what to say about the first hostel built in our country, which besides having a history, (which almost everyone knows), is located in a spectacular place in Gredos, with unbeatable views, and, say it is winter or summer, always It is a good time to enjoy the place.

Honestly I did not like it since the place If that is nice, but I was going to book a room for 65e to be under 30 years, I was induced to catch the suit junior for 113e, which was going to have views and jacuzzi, for me surprise that when he arrived he did not have any of both.

Building something old but with all the flavor of history and in an incomparable place of the Sierra de Gredos. For working days it is perfect, although for a getaway with children or couples there are other, more welcoming places in the surrounding villages.

It is the first Parador that was made and is where our Constitution was signed. The atmosphere is great, the staff charming and the place has a lot of charm. When we went we had the snow that had happened and the experience with my muner and daughters was unforgettable. We will return without hesitation.

One of the best hostels. The restaurant and cafeteria are excellent and not overly expensive. Having tea from the viewpoint is a luxury for only 1.60. The service is excellent, the rooms large and comfortable, the rooms very comfortable and beautiful. Going through the terrace at night to see the stars is another wonder. A drink in the cafeteria next to the fire in winter is priceless. Outdoor playground, playground with pinpon, table football, billiards and playground for the little ones. Great location for long walks. Good food and many corners to rest with a book or a glass of wine. Super nice staff. We went with our dog, since it is one of the 2-3 hostels that accept dogs that we appreciate very much. It would be great with so many spaces to leave one where you can be with the dog. If not in winter you go to a route and then you have to be all day in the room or leave the dog alone all the time. A corner where you could read or drink with the dog would add a lot of value

The rooms are old, the furniture uncomfortable, the floor sinks and creaks, the bathroom has a bad smell, the hall noises are heard. It needs a thorough renovation, it is not enough to change the windows so that the engine from the back is not heard ...
Great staff, but that doesn't make the bed more comfortable. The scenery is great, but it doesn't help me sleep at night.
To eat is fine, but to rest and regain strength, better stay somewhere else.

Third world hotel where they welcome you as if you didn't pay. The food in the restaurant is lousy and reheated several times. The room service leaves much to be desired, they only put a towel for two people, the entrance light does not work, the bathroom lacks a mirror (there is only the frame) they do not provide hydroalcoholic gel or hand soap. The terrace (to call it somehow) does not have privacy, nor space to be there at ease. The staff lacks all empathy, nor do they care if you are comfortable, nor what is the reason for the cancellation. Before staying there, I recommend sleeping in a tent. I rate with a star because it does not allow to publish without rating.

Good afternoon we were at the Parador de Gredos on the weekend of June 15, specifically in room 506. I have waited until today to have a certain perspective and not write from the outrage that the stay caused us.

As for the works, it is preferable to completely or partially close the Parador before supporting the dirt that was seen in the rooms adjacent to them.
Only the concerts that we attended on Friday the 15th saved the stay.
In short, not to return.

It is completely unheard of that this establishment has not conditioned the rooms for the months, weeks or days of SUMMER: there are rooms that in summer can be real "saunas" (without asking, of course). Not only has no air conditioning been installed, but neither has the detail been provided to provide a fan to alleviate the high temperatures that can be reached in many rooms; above, it could be said, the temperature understood as comfort (around 25 degrees Celsius). If you want to "suffer" from a stay in summer (when the temperature is above 25 degrees) do not hesitate to spend a day in this establishment.

The first and oldest Parador in Spain. It has three stars, but its quality and service does not differ from other higher-category Paradores. Very spacious and well equipped rooms. The one we took had a terrace with wonderful views and two loungers for reading or resting. It is the place where our Constitution was born.

We have spent 4 days in this charming Parador de Gredos surrounded by peace and nature, reminding a little of the mountain refuges from the beginning of the century such as the Parador de Bielsa.
Security by the cobi is guaranteed both at the entrance and in its facilities, the spectacular breakfast they have even made us a potato omelette, the lounges, the views, the terrace where you can have a cool beer after a great walk around admiring the mountains of Gredos, the cleanliness is impressive, and all the staff are very friendly and on occasion with a lot of patience as I could see and observe. The mattress to my liking, very hard for my back, is the only thing I did not like
