Nice parador. Charming and quiet place. Many routes to do by bike or walking.

Landscape and unbeatable location. However, the building could use some improvements especially in the rooms. The doors are very old and you can hear all the hallway noises. The parquet of the corridor makes so much noise that it is noticeable when it happens anybody.

Very good quality food and lots of it. Also the treatment is exquisite

Very good for expectations. It is not a luxury 5-star hotel but everything is very good: cozy room, very good and clean bathroom, cozy common rooms and the restaurant very well (both breakfast and meals). Very attentive and friendly workers.

The hostel has beautiful views, if you are lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms facing the mountains. The decoration, although old, is cozy and the perfect location for a walk. The worst thing is, without a doubt, the cafeteria service, they attend without the order of arrival, they take a long time to serve, and they also charge 10 for a mediocre sandwich accompanied by French fries ...

The Parador is in a wonderful enclave overlooking the mountains. The attention of its staff is excellent. The rooms are fine. The steak that we ate from the restaurant was disappointing

Extraordinary views, unforgettable walks, a site with history

It is an emblematic building full of history. Very well preserved and with excellent views. I put 3 stars for the kitchen. With reservation, it took us more than 2 hours to eat. I don't know if the kitchen or the service was slow. They remove a plate to make more meat (despite having asked for it very old) and they do it by touching other dishes removed from other tables, with the COVID risk that exists on these dates, they should be more careful, because ours returned to the table another time.

The parador is very cool

Ideal location in the Sierra de Gredos. Although you already need a renovation, especially in the rooms, the charm of the place and the common areas make up for it.

A pity that in the restaurant they are so slow and in the bar there is a plague of bugs ... that is worth you are in the middle of the mountain but ready to fall in the glasses from the lamps. The rest very well.

Very cozy I have passed many times through this historic place, way of Hoyos del Espino ... and I have approached to take your good coffee. Also to stroll through its beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

The food is delicious. As the only downside we stayed for 4 days and the menu of the day did not change. The rooms very clean and the beds very comfortable.

A beautiful hostel, located in an exceptional environment. The restoration is fabulous and the employees, as above all those in the dining room are very friendly. Good initiative is to encourage customers to take food that they have not consumed in recycled cardboard containers

Maybe I need some small fixes already. But just for the food, the attention and the location in the middle of nature is worth knowing.

I did not like that we were banned for bringing a dog, we wanted to eat and an employee told us that dogs were not, in a very derogatory way

This year we have not stayed there because there were no specials but we love it and went for coffee.

An ancient peak. It needs a remodel. It is not in the central and most beautiful part of the mountains but it has a long, shady and very pleasant route right next to it. Overall good and with many interesting places nearby.

We stopped to take a gintonic and the waiter in the cafeteria was very unpleasant so we left there without taking anything

A hostel in the middle of the sierra de gredos, very friendly service and good amenities, although it was snowing, it is always warm inside the hostel

It is located in a natural environment impression ante. From the cafeteria you can see the whole Sierra de Gredos. Of comfort and cleanliness is that of Paradores. A marvel. I advise it.

Watch the perfect setting of the snowy mountain sunset, quiet and comfortable.

The oldest hostel in the entire network. The surroundings are fantastic, especially the night view of the sky that is impressive. The facilities themselves maybe a little old and lacked any additional facilities such as the pool. The spacious rooms and the very comfortable bed.
The restaurant of the hostel is excellent, good a la carte variety with typical dishes of the region and good desserts.

Special mention to a young man named David at the reception who showed great interest in the client by solving a small problem we had with the TV

Very nice atmosphere and staff. Correct rooms for your category. Environment and privileged views. The rooms are perfectly isolated from the outside but not from the noise of the rest of the rooms, even though the hotel is not responsible for the fact that noisy neighbors touch you.

It's not that I'm excited by such "gourmand" places, the nearby hostel is better in quality

The first National Parador of the chain ... does not detract ... to highlight the terrace where you can see a starry sky out of the ordinary. The friendliness and service of its outstanding staff even pandemic proof .... and if you leave before breakfast time .... what to say about the breakfast_lunch that they did not prepare ... !!!!

Parador with solera, for the good and the bad. Magnificent environment, ideal to meet gredos. The restaurant could improve. Especially the breakfast, for what it costs, is very very poor.

The site, surrounded by nature, is spectacular, the accommodation is in accordance with what you can expect from a parador, the food is quite good although repetitive.

The place was gorgeous, specially when it snowed. My complaint would be about the food. I expected a much more refined menu, considering the price of the rooms per night.

As most of the restaurants of Paradores, food is very tasty and the raw material is of the best quality. We suggest to order the special menu, where you can taste traditional regional dishes at a very reasonable price (35 incl vine). You More

A place with a special charm, you are in nature for which it offers you a very good relax.

Nice accommodation provided the heat does not squeeze too much. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms can spoil your stay.
