Good day out, has a good level of animal welfare considered with its enclosures. Animal seem to receive adequate welfare but some animal do show abdominal beahavours but only a few. All in all good day out and I was happy with the animal level of care

It's a lovely little zoo tucked away in Hertfordshire. Currently lots of building work occurring on site. Sadly the wolf had died a few days before we arrived and there were no elephants. There is a lovely dinosaur exhibition in the forest.

Very family orientated, good value, have to pay extra for the train ride.
Loved the speedway museum.

Lots of the cages seemed very small, I'd much rather have less animals and give them more space!

Would be nice to have an indoor picnic area.

New dinosaurs area is a great addition, but we saw rats running around in a few of the enclosures, particularly the monkey area at the back (farthest from the entrance, close to the road). Think a few areas need a bit of work so needs some money invested.
Unfortunately (hopefully to raise funds for said investment) they are stopping their partnership with Tesco so can't use clubcard points anymore. Would still recommend, try to check talk/feed times we went on a Saturday and still room to listen and see what was going on.

A wonderful wildlife park full of beautiful big cats, adorable red pandas and lovely lemurs to name a few. The world of dinosaurs is a fantastic exhibit for any dino lover. Our 2 year old was thrilled to see 'real dinosaurs' All in all a great family day out.

It had all we wanted for a day out, dinosaur world for those interested, with motion moving dinosaurs. Then the zoo part with lions, tigers, and other animals, with members of the zoo team giving various talks about the animal's they are involved with.

When we visited the dinosaur park, it was brand new. Brilliant. My son loves dinos and even I was impressed the variety, the length of the tour and the quality of it. Well done guys. We visited the rest of the park many times and will do as often as we can - we love the animals and it is a good example of how to do it. Fun for the whole family.

Well organised with one way system in place and plenty of hand sanitiser stations. Tiger area is currently undergoing some building work. Dinosaur area was fab, lots of moving models and sound really brought the area to life. Didn't really find anything we missed out on as adaptions for all exhibits seem to have been made, only a couple of viewing platforms closed but that's OK.

Really lovely cost effective day out for the whole family. We got there early around 9.30 am a good time to go as by 12 lunch time it's packed out! The animals vary from farm yard to tropical & rare, the foods ok, not a lot of choice for meals but good choice of snacks & drinks. The train ride is fun and short very jungle like great for the kids! A couple of outside parks, park games & stalls. They also have an indoor soft play and cafe on the exit of the park. Handy to ware the kids out just that little bit more before the drive home and the chance for the parents to grab a bru, coffee or take a rest before your Journey home.

Very good range and variety of animals.
Decent 'petting' area
Lots of parking, toilet, shop facilities etc
Safe kids indoor and outdoor parks
It's got a good clean environment park and enclosures

All rounder, it's a real good day out!

They charge for 2/3 year olds yet they cant see anything unless lifted! The prices are a bit extreme compared to Colchester zoo! A lot was shut off at the time and still charged the same amount. Bit disappointed

This is a great zoo to take children. It is not too big or too small for a great family day out. Paradise has a zoo, dinosaur exploration area, a splash park, soft play, adventure playground, food and face painting.

This is a nice zoo with the addition of a dinosaur park complete with authentic sounds and movement from the beasts. The rest of the zoo is clean and tidy but not as many animals as we'd expected. A couple of play areas for little ones to burn off some energy. Food outlets expensive like all zoos.

Great family day out, plenty to see and do. Son especially like the dinosaur park and dinosaur shop. Gift shop though was some what disappointing, alot of overpriced bits and bobs. Plenty of food places, but also plenty of picnic areas if you take your own food. Lots of different animals to see, clean and tidy, animals well kept and looked after. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to friends and family.

We love this place! Weve been coming here for many years both as a family and bringing brownie and guides here and everytime therea more improvements, changes and more to see. The animals are always well kept and visably comftable in their enviroment. Staff always friendly and helpful, the childrens safety is extremely well thought of at this venue making it perfect for larger groups etc. Fun for all the family cant say theres much they could improve on at all!

Zoo not far from London, there are many animals including, lions, tigers, zebras and many others, you can watch them at close range and eat them with food bought on the spot, the animals are well cared for, the only flaw is that the environment / cages are too small for many species present. In addition to the zoo is an amusement park for children, with lots of rides, and a swimming pool to splash around, and a beautiful representation of life-size dinosaurs with beautiful special effects, overall a great family day out.

All the animals were really interactive like they've missed people! The staff are always friendly and it's nice to be able to go back. All the enclosures are well maintained and the animals are healthy and happy .

What a disappointment!

What a disappointment!
Good points first; the animal enclosures seemed very clean and well taken care of, we were able to pet the Zebra which was nice and we didn t have to travel very far as we live close by.
I should have known that it was going badly when I found that only half of my car would fit in a parking space which clearly seemed to have been marked out for Smart cars and Minis!
The full ticket price is extortionate and on a par with big safari type wildlife parks. We had a deal through another website but I still felt ripped off by the time we left.

We loved the penguins, tigers, lions, cheetahs, lemurs, zebra and camels but most of the other animals can be seen in our local petting zoo (for free!)
I appreciate it was low season but it was a nice sunny day and there were quite a few people there, so I would have expected more of an atmosphere and a buzz, but there wasn t, not helped by the fact that all the stands were shut.
Maybe it s better in the summer, I m not paying that much again to find out.

We love Paradise Wildlife Park! We visited last week but we were a bit disappointed that the tiger and most the big cat enclosure is closed currently due to renovations and won't reopen until the Autumn. Regardless, the kids still had a great time, there's plenty of aninals to see and nice play areas for them to play on whilst adults can have some restbite and coffee! They have a Dinosaur attraction which the kids loved and is great for pictures!

During COVID19 you have to book a few days in advance to get a time slot for entering but you can take your own time to explore the park.

Fantastic day out for the whole family. You get access to the Wildlife park, World of the dinosaurs, which really is brilliant with autonomous dinosaurs, and the speedway museum. Entry price is reasonable given how much you have access to.

Good for families with young children. For couples of older groups it would be better to visit a different zoo.

Expensive for what s on offer. They need to offer tickets for the wildlife section only, as half the park is for children only.

Lastly, I can t drink my water in the tiger area that I bought in the park? Only drinks bought at the tiger cafe can be consumed in that area. This must be a joke. Seriously...!?

Treated myself to an experience in the rain forest. Went into the Sloth enclosure which houses a pair of Sloths, two Pygmy Marmosets and an Armadillo (which stayed asleep!) I gave a Marmoset a live worm which wriggled in her hands. I then gave a whole corn cob to each Sloth. It was fascinating to be so close to these incredible creatures who spend almost their entire lives upside down (and sleeping). I recommend these experiences which could be with small mammals, big cats and keeper for a day etc. Fabulous park, especially for children, so much to do and see.
