Great place to take the kids. When I was a kid we knew this place as Broxbourne Zoo and it's much bigger than I remember it as a toddler. Loads to do for the kids and a surprising amount of wildlife on show..

Little one's loved it, lunch with the Tigers was the treat. The weather wasn't great but the rain seemed to wake the animals up. As with all these types of attraction it's is an expensive day out but the Tesco voucher's offer better value.
A fantastic day out for all the family whatever the age. Lots of playgrounds, things to do, places to eat and of course there are the dinosaurs which are all automated. The zoo is a nice size and the animals are all very healthy looking. Quite a few of the enclosures are being renovated at the moment but should be finished very soon.
This was a great place to go with family/grandchildren espetially a child who is obsessed with dinosaures and knoes them all. Lots for all to enjoy and lots of parking
While the park is ok, they do not take the Tesco clubcard points at this park and it's the one up north that does, however this is not clear. Also the price for entry compared to Colchester zoo for what you get is overpriced. They do have some unique animals that I had not seen in other UK zoo's however. The dinosaur trail is fun for the kids and the red train is enjoyable but considering price of entry I feel this should either be free or 1 trip covered in the cost of the tickets of entry.
We all had a great day. We had the school experience, for our Tourism GCSE class, and Katie our guide was great, giving us all the information whilst being friendly and helpful. We liked the new additions to the park especially the Dinosaurs.
Took our 14 month old granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. We thought Jurassic World was impressive. I haven't been here since my own children were small and I think it was well worth the money.
A well presented and enjoyable wildlife park. However, they charge for parking on to of your entry fee, you also have to cough up more money to do many of the activities inside. We feltt this was misleading.
Attended a wedding here at Paradise Wildlife Park, and let me tell you, it was one of the best weddings I have attended. The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly at the evening part. Food was AMAZING, couldnt fault it here. I havent been around the whole of the Park, however walking through on the route to the Wedding Venue, makes me want to visit here properly.
There was very little to do, the park was alot smaller than expected over half the cages seemed empty not worth the 60 pounds it cost to get in the only high light was the lion enclosure.
Lovely day out for my 2 Year old sons birthday, Theres animals, play Area, soft play, swimming Area its very good to Keeep Your little one busy! Looking forward to go there Again
We went as a group and had the best time such a friendly atmosphere the staff are very helpful and nice such a great range of animals definitely be returning.
Entertaining day out for young children. Zoo with caring staff, crazy golf, train rides, playground and bouncy castle etc. Picnic areas and typical restaurant for theme parks serving burgers, pizza baked potato etc. Visited several times with kids from 5 to 10 and they have always enjoyed it.
Quite disappointed, not much to see and had seen everything after just over an hour. Not great value considering how many enclosures were shut. No tigers, no otters, no lynx, no walkways over the top. Forget visiting here and go to Whipsnade zoo instead, so much better value.
I must say that's is a noisy place. There's certainly a lot of playgrounds around this park which is great for the children and as an adult, one does get a lot of alone time with cuppa whilst keeping an eye on the children. Regarding the animals...Well I seems like they only get peace and quiet after the closing time but they don't seem bothered by it. It's not a zoo of great space or resources but it's nice one. With lovely amount of big cats and other interesting animals. I only gave 3starts as the line to get tickets was absurd. We waited 20minutes. Pretty crazy even in half term. And no, we haven't pre paid for our tickets, as it wouldn't make much of a difference as the line for that was as long as ours. Overall....Kids will have great time. And it's nice outing.
Over packed and over priced, looks like they've spent loads of cash on animated dinosaurs and made the animal enclosures smaller, defiantly will not go back
Fantastic place for young and old.. Staff are knowledgeable and amazing. Had a great day on the Silver Tour. Met some amazing animals and thanks to Sarah who was our guide for the day x
Very enjoyable family day out. Lots to do and see their, staff very polite. Attractions all very good. Although it can cost a lot for a large family its throughly worth it
We were booked on the' breakfast with the big cats experience' last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed our morning. Our keeper was really informative, friendly, and he quite clearly had a passion for the cats. His enthusiasm was contagious and our group enjoyed chatting about the cats over breakfast. Breakfast was brilliant and plentiful, served in the Tiger Treetops Cafe, which overlooks the tiger enclosure. The lady who looked after us during our meal was friendly and helpful.. We spent a few hours afterwards in the park and both agreed it was a lovely day out, its very clean, staff are friendly and all the animals are very well looked after. Its not a huge space to explore but is brilliant for young families to visit. There are lots of play areas for children, along with shows and keepers talks, so something for all the family. I would thoroughly recommend a visit :)
Nice day out with current times. We need to support our local zoos!! We wore masks inside but noone else did (this was before mask rule came in) we had lovely picnic which we brought in as we arrived. love the red panda's n son wanted to see meercats and lions which we did. No social distancing at the kids park area so we avoided it, but we came for the zoo not a park so wasn't a problem. Nice level paths good for wheelchair users.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the place. The dinosaur exhibition is a must along with the little train ride (which you pay extra for). It was a very hot day so we spent an hour in the splash pool which was also great. We visited with a 4 year old and 10 month old. The dinosaur walk is amazing! The dinosaurs all look real
Very disappointed! Animals in tiny cages, with no shelter from the sun - I visited on Friday and it was around 30 degrees! All animals I saw looked like they were suffering in the sun, all panting. I saw one small tortoise with an ice cube filled with spinach and that was it. Big cats are kept in tiny cages - a cheetah needs so much more space, surely!? They also had very boring enclosures which included a lot of pavement. The lions are gorgeous and it made me so sad to see their small enclosure. Worst of all was the snow leopards - why do you have animals that are adapted for a snowy habitat? Can you not send them to a zoo in a cooler climate?! Bird section was quite upsetting - gorgeous animals that originate in the tropical rainforest kept in tiny enclosures - green macaws in a cage with about 4 branches and no foliage! How boring, for an animal that has the mental ability of a 3 year old child. I will say that the raccoon looked like it had great enrichment in it's enclosure and it looked like it had a lot of space. Penguins looked alright too. This place seems to prioritise visitors and children over their animals - everywhere you look there's children's play areas and adverts to *spend more money!* The robotic dinosaurs have been given almost as much space as the whole animal park - imagine if that space was devoted to giving those gorgeous big cats more space and more natural enclosures. Will never go back and never recommend this place - if you want to see true care for animals visit Whipsnade Zoo.
You can't see much as its all crammed in one half of the park, food and hot drinks very poor, some areas with closed, but you are not told, so when you walk into them you then find out, we got gift voucher at christmas, it was not for this More
A lot to see in one day. Kids love it. Dinosaurs plus zoo and at the end the child play area for few hours drain them off completely. I clearly recommend it. There are 4 car parks, lots of places to eat- but all run out of hot dogs today-a More
This is wrong education for children, they are not supposed to feed the wolves or the lions, or touch the snakes. they are wild not pets. I was saddened by their lack of space to move about, the enclosure is really small. Very sad!
Awesome place to come, lots of animals here. Can get a food bag and feed some of the animals. My daughter loved it here! Thinking of trying out one of the experiences next.
Good price with a variety of animals HOWEVER lack of signs and postings in the park can make you miss certain attractions. We missed the wolves and only noticed on way out!
High entry prices and animals nothing special ie see one seen them all. Nothing special about area but kids will propably enjoy. Ps the dinosaur area is probably the best part.
