Have been to this zoo many times in the past and always a great day and the staff are always friendly and passionate about the animals

I would no longer recommend anyone visiting this zoo. Take a drive and visit Colchester zoo instead it's only about an hour away

Plenty the see for the little ones and grown ups, can spend the whole day there. For what they charge, I'd expect better facilities (toilets and baby change are below par, poor really) WiFi never worked . Food is pricey...

We had a lovely day. Definitely a must to go back. The only thing we would do differently is to take our own food.
The restaurant was awful. The burgers were cold and the chips were not nice either.
All the staff around the park were helpful and polite and very knowledgeable. Keep up the good work.

Probably the best wildlife park in Hertfordshire for smaller kids. It s small enough that you can get round in a day and guaranteed to see the animals. Had lots to do for younger aged kids - play area, dinosaur park etc. Highly recommended.

Took our 2 kids to the zoo for a day out. Had a fantastic time. The new lion enclosure is brilliant. It s mostly glass so it really feels like you re close to them. They loved the dinosaurs, had a great time interacting with them and pretending to run from them

We visited (as a family group of 4 adults and 3 kids) as a birthday treat for my daughter and we had a really good day. As a smaller park, the additional play areas helps stop the little ones getting bored, but with quite a few animals not being out, the kids became more interested in the play areas than the wildlife.

We would go again, but would take a picnic next time.

As a photographer I have visited many different zoos and wildlife parks in the UK, and Paradise Wildlife Park is easily one of my favourites to visit! They have so many different animals and all of them have lovely enclosures with good viewing areas for the public. I've got many of my favourite photographs from Paradise, a lovely place to visit!

Fantastic wildlife park, some play areas, cafes & restaurants for young & old. All the animals from big cats to small rodents. And a very good speedway museum. Couldn't fault this place for a great day out for all the family and friends.

First of all the Paradise Lagoon; the water was filthy with dirt floating in it, this area should be closed every hour or two and cleaned, its a health hazard!!! Adults smoking freely around the park, the only place where there was no smoking was the animal section. My pregnant wife needed some water due to be it being so hot on this bank holiday Monday, i went to 2 food stands and there was no water. Qued another 25 minutes to buy slush puppies for the kids which turnt out to be just flavoured water with hardly any ice. The kids had a good time but i wont be returning to this place. I actually want my refund!!

Nice small zoo with a variety of animals. Visited on a Virgin Experience day ticket meet the meerkats and this was a fantastic experience. The keeper takes the two of you to a small meerkat enclosure at feed time out of public view and you have the chance to feed and pet the meerkats! If you're lucky one may stand sentry on your shoulders, brilliant experience and all round good day

Not worth the money, especially in summer, no water ponds for animals to cool off, animal and area not looked after, there is nothing similar to their promotional video, especially kids play not looked after, chances of getting injury are alot, very small water area for kids to play with dirty water, dinosaur area looked very old too, no walking dinosaur, animals In hiding too, very less species too

Great for kids age 2 upwards and their parents. Admission good value considering what you get ...lots of play opportunities for kids ( and adults who haven't grown up! ).If you tire of amazing selection of animals in open pens and natural habitats. Knowledgeable keepers to tell visitors about them .A great and good value family day out .

Fantastic experience at this zoo, really enjoyed everything. We had a meet the red pandas experience which was so special. We were accompanied by a highly knowledgeable, kind, caring girl zoo keeper who answered all our questions. The red pandas are amazing, gentle, soulful animals! After that, we explored the rest of the zoo, saw all the beautiful big cats, various monkeys and other animals, plus the sweet sheep and goats who loved being stroked. One sheep was big and fat, very friendly, with a long thick deep coat.... I'm sure it was genuine sheepskin. To conclude, a fantastic day out at one of the UK's nicest small zoo's. Highly recommended!

Animals were great and lots of play equipment for young children. But i thought it was expensive, lots of things were closed and park seems a little run down. But staff were very nice. The small train is a rip off though.

Fantastic day out. First time we had been since covid out break. Very clean throughout park. The toilets were regularly being cleaned by staff and staff we encounter with were very friendly. Plenty of hand stations to use which I saw in use by a lot of the visitors. Also people where making the effort to social distance and keep to one way systems and just made it such a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work guys

I haven't been to a wildlife park or zoo in years.

I didn't think that there was one so close, and it was a great experience to venture into one and see our furry friends.

Great facilities for such a relatively small park. Great for kids, and great for adults. Food and drink facilities and you can leave the kids for the show whilst you go for a wander

Whoww the kids love this zoo. A great size to walk round as not vast but packed with things to do and see. Take a picnic as food on the expensive side but loads of picnic spots to stop and enjoy. Kids favourites were the animals, dinosaur Park amazing! train and splash park which is loverly to cool off on a hot day so take swim wear for the kids. Adults can roll trousers up and paddle. Possible our best day out this summer.

We had a great time with our three year old twins. They loved the animals and the dinosaurs. We went at 16:00, which is rather late, but there was less people and we could spend more time seeing the animals. We will definitely be back again!

We really enjoyed our day here, there is so much for the kids to do including indoor softplay, various outdoor playgrounds, splash pool, nature walks and talks and of course, the best part, the animals.
