Great fun when there different places within the site and the kids love it. Places to learn about the animals. Friendly staff very knowledgeable. Good fun day out.

Absolutely great day out! Definitely going back. The dinosaurs were some of the best animatronic ones I've seen. Especially for a "small" place like this. Which isn't really that small! Well done!

Good value for money. It isn t the largest zoo in the area, however, there are many activities to keep young children amused. My pre-school child always has a good time coming here. They have their own soft-play area, multiple outdoor playgrounds, a dinosaur park and a train ride.

This is probably the best zoo I've ever been to. I've been to ZSL in the past and felt let down by the range of animals, their general lack of activity and the crowded feeling of the zoo. None of this is a problem at paradise wildlife park. We went during the winter period and managed to see all of the animals at the most active we've ever seen animals in a zoo. The amount of people at the park was at a level to which it didn't make the park seem abandoned but allowed you to enjoy it fully without large crowds. We took part in the 'meet a red panda' experience there and were completely amoured with meeting the gorgeous red panda Tilly. The zoo keepers were all very knowledgeable and many talks happened throughout the day. The actual feeding experience itself was guided by a very experienced young zookeeper and we were told that if we weren't able to get Tilly to come down from the tree she was sleeping in we could come back at two other points in the day or choose a different experience. I would highly recommend paradise wildlife park as one of the best places to see a range of species in the UK.

Fantastic day out with the grandkids. Plenty for them to do and not too much walking for little ones.

Absolutely fantastic day for kids and adults, brilliant park, the dinosaur park was amazing, my boys loved it, great for children to be able to feed some of the animals, highly recommend a visit.

Some great enclosures here, especially the green anaconda setup. Walkthrough dinosaur exhibit is cool, too.

Paradise Wildlife Park manages to combine a very well run animal park with the added attraction of a dinosaur attraction. Directions are very clearly marked from the A10 and it's a reasonably quick trip from the A10. There is ample parking and entry to the park is very well organised with pre booked tickets only due to Covid restrictions. Once in the park, movement is one way clearly marked and the route tskes in all of the animal enclosures and the dinosaur attraction. The facilities for the animals are very spacious and copy their natural surroundings . There are informative presentations by keepers at various enclosures who explain how the animals are cated for and monitored. The dinosaur attraction is very good with various animated dinosaurs in a walk through natural environment which is lengthy together with a small gauge railway ride through the attraction .
There is ample catering facilities throughout the park and plenty of places to sit and eat. Admission charges are reasonable and once in the park is a full days enjoyment.
Paradise Wildlife Park is well worth a visit.

Great day out, came here on an off chance as didn't want to drive all the way to Colchester. Animals are very well kept here and have large enclosures

Was lovely. Well looked after animals which was nice too see. Friendly staff. Food and drink was major over prized and rhe toilets was vile, Looked like they hadn't been touched in a week.

Keepers for the day (thanks kids), had a fantastic day in a lovely zoo, got up close and personal with lots of fantastic animals. Keepers were very pleasant and really informative ..... would highly recommend.

Looking forward to coming back in the summer. My son loves the pool and of course the animals

Great place, little one loved it. Spent 3 happy hours in the morning.

Only drawback is the queues.
You can anticipate the footfall on a Saturday morning to lunch, have more staff at the front gates and cafe.
Unfortutely lost half an hour between these two

Loved it loads to do, a whole day experience, take swim wear in hot weather as theres a paddling pool too

The dinosaur park is amazing, I didn't not expect it to be as good as it was. The zoo part felt a little small was hoping to see more big cats etc, but there is a varied amount of things to see and do and is an all round excellent day out. Would definitely visit again.

Better to visit on a summer's day as not many places to shelter from the rain. Food options were all closed on my visit on a wednesday. Not sure if they are closed on other weekdays. Small. You only need 3hrs to visit. Souvenir shop is a joke. Nothing in there!!

Really good for young ones not as busy as a big zoo.

My 2 year old loved it but some enclosures were empty. No tigers or snow leopard.

Jurassic world is the best part in here and very nice.great place to visit with family member

Good for a day out with young children. Just a bit expensive entrance fee

Too expensive to enter- then you have pay for train rides etc

We had Christmas party there. The staff were great. I wasn't overawed with my mains food but the starter and dessert were gorgeous. We had a disco afterwards. The whole evening was awesome. Would definitely recommend it as a venue.

Went to see the speedway museum which was fascinating and packed with memorabilia. The animal park was brilliant...lions ,tigers, snowleopards, zebras, and meerkats were all great to see even though it was a very windy and sometimes rainy day. My granddaughter loved it as loads for youngsters to see and do. Thoroughly enjoyed our day and would go back again.

I last went here with my friends and wow... for a kids park I was impressed but while I was still in my childhood (8yrs) this place was - wow - I loved the slide and the inflatable playground... Not sure if there still there but it was pretty sick.

Brilliant day out! First time we had been and we loved it! Wouls definately go back too!

The new enclosure looks lovely. Wish we had seen it open. Staff in the dinosaur gift shop we accommodating and very friendly.

Visited paradise wildlife park earlier this week with our grandson the dinosaur exhibit is amazing never seen one like it moving and growling dinosaurs its a must to see the rest of the park as a good selection of animals great day out and not expensive to get in

I had a big cat feeding experience voucher so booked in for 01/09/20, we are in our late 50s early 60s and have a physical walking disability . We had a fantastic time we went round the whole park very clean, animals well looked after,The staff were all very polite and helpful, We would like to say a special thank you to Emma who works in the discovery center very cheerful and helpful young lady made us feel very welcome! even offered to help us put our scooters in the car when we were leaving!! Also a big thanks to Hannah who took us to the cat feeding experience it was so obvious that she loves the cats she gave us lots of information about the Tigers she made me feel very safe and confident when feeding them. Thank you for a lovely day we would recommend this park especially as a family day.

I love this place ! Its great to take the kids for a day out. They have so much to see and do there from play park to Zoo. You can get high up and pretty close to the animals and it is always well maintained and ever exspa ding with new enclosures and things to do.

Poor care of rabbits when I was there. Very overweight and food covering the entire floor as people can pay to feed them and there s clearly no limit to how much money they will take. Eyes were gunky, some long haired rabbits were visibly matted. Enclosures looked dirty. Although I didn t notice issues with any other species it Makes me wonder how they can care for more exotic animals properly if these lack basic care.

Great place for kids of all ages. Lots of things to do!

Brilliant place to take the kids loads to do and surprisingly not that expensive really we had a cracking day will be going again that's for sure
