We stayed in beach villa on 20-21 March...when we returned from beach we saw our room was open..some stole my 250 dollars and 5000 indian currency....I will never recommend this resort..it is full of theives...they said it's your own mistake by not keeping money in safety box...if by mistake anyone keep money in purse then it will be lost when you go for breakfast lunch or dinner...so be aware and always carry your currency along with you...I suggest no one to go there it is very expensive and once u loose money u will be left with nothing...so you have many other options in Maldives never go to this place

We went as a family for 11 nights in superior beach bungalows, so 2 bungalows. Late February early March.
We were well received by Nour who speaks perfect French. The first 2 nights we were far from the activity center (bungalows 143 and 142). We asked to change 110 and 112 much closer with 2 teenagers who often forget a few things in the rooms, 40m from the water on a beautiful beach. On the arrival pontoon side. Clearly the most beautiful place on the island.
Contrary to previous opinions the side of the island where the overwater bungalows are located is really not great many dead corals, little depth, water in the waist.
Our magnificent side, in particular on the right of the pontoon on the pool side. Super snorkeling, especially outside the lagoon between the Italian restaurant pass and the nautical club pass. 2 m deep.
We were all inclusive and there was a big disappointment. If you are used to all inclusive, the Maldives will change you. Everything is not included in terms of drinks ... And only the buffet is included in the restaurants. In addition, you will think you are a Rockstar signing autographs after each order ... A bit boring
The buffet is top notch, very varied and of high quality. The service is good.
2 tennis courts, badminton, squash lots of activities and the slots are often free.
The beaches are desertic due to the hotel's Indian and Chinese clientele who do not swim but take pictures all day ...
Clean room and high quality bedding.

Lovely resort, truly paradise. Only thing we didn't like was the food served at their buffet dinner, almost same items were served every night.

Great place for relaxation . Food is expensive better to take package with all meals. Alcohol is expensive please carry from duty free . Please carry necessary medicine you required.

I spent 8 days in the resort; all the staff was so friendly and so professional, especially my room waiter, Stephen, who was so efficinet and very helpful in case I asked for something more in my room; the 2 waiters at my table during the meals, Diprenda and Kamal, were so professional and they also recommended very good beverages according to the food I used to select. I warmly recommend Paradise Island resort for those who want to have a very relaxing holiday, enjoying a very clean seawater.

Very nice ambiance and hospitality was great.. Paradise resort goes with its name as it is Actually felling of Paradise when you are there..Very courteous staffs and helpful..the food quality was superb and you get all Indian cuisine there...I satyed in Superior beach bungalows and The Water villas also..the best part dey offer water activities and the Scuba diving was great ..they have great team of water activities...they have all the thing in an island. The bar and restaurant have great ambiance and varieties. Wish to visit again. thanks

Nothing special. Good for mass tourism. They just want tips. The sea is beautiful but this does not depend on them. The food is of medium quality. Nothing fancy.

Excellent service. Great resort, with the exception of the rooms. Rooms are expensive but not very well maintained.

SIMPLY THE BEST. I was on a solo trip there and I swear I felt like I got a new family here. Everyone is soooo nice. Right from the reception to the waitors. Loved it. Can't wait to come back here again.

It's really a heaven...but get a good sun block...I took full board package bcoz even all inclusive package doesn't include all drinks which is weird....atmosphere was hot until 4 pm then it was perfect....stuff r super friendly...fast service

Amazing place to stay! Beautifully built rooms with great view and privacy. Food menu gets repetitive, but other options available. Water sports may be a bit heavy on the wallet.

Extremely beautiful.. Calm and quiet.. Surrounded by coral reefs, crystal clear water and colorful fishes.. Amenities like Scuba diving, snorkeling, speed boats, sea plane, restaurants, beach villas, water villas...

Maldives being my dream destination. Property is awesome with beautiful view We visited in Feb 2019 so try for both Beach bungalow and water villa for a maximum stay of 4 nights 5 days. Just loved my stay there, would love to visit once again. All staff. All arrangements. All food is awesome here. Everything is well organized and beautifully arranged. Want to visit once more.

This is an awesome place to visit specially for honeymoon couples, the view is awesome and yes do not miss to do the photoshoot here with the professional photographers of Paradise island they do an amazing job had a good memorable trip here wana visit again soon

No wonder at all, the island is great, the food is great, the staff is very friendly, I recommend beach bungalows with numbers from 120 to 150, we were in room 143 - full board - 3 adults. There is free water in the bungalow and in the restaurant every day.

Amazing place for honeymoon, enjoyed nature at its best right from landing at the airport to the resort. Paradise as the name is the resort too is really a paradise, lush greens and lively aquatic life within hands reach literally, scuba diving is just perfect for newbie divers.

Paradise Resort island is one of the beautiful place to visit in Maldives.

As its name suggests, it is a paradise of turquoise water, white sand and colorful fish.
We loved it.
The service is great, mostly young people from all over the world, so you won't have a problem understanding yourself in almost any language.
The food is quite rich and varied.

Wonderful resort to chill and relax over the vacation. We enjoyed their food and stay for New Year Eve. We wished we stayed longer...
I loved how there is a lot of privacy in the beach villa..the water villa was just amazing too. We also tried the water excursions. We loved how the staff were so helpful. We really would love to come back again...

The island and one of the largest is 1000 to 250 meters. Beautiful scenery, beautiful beaches. The cottages are very comfortable. I recommend this solution. The food is good. Excellent service. Ideal place for rest and recreation. Good excursions and entertainment are available.

We spent 4days and 3 nights here and it was blissful with the azure backdrop.we spent 2days in the superior beach bunglow and 1 day in the water villa.they both have a different experience to offer.the beach villa gives you direct access to the beach.the watervilla has a backdoor to the waters.we do wish we spent more days at the water villa cause it was much more romantic and offered an undescribable calm. There are 3 options in water villas.one with a bath tub outside(simple watervilla). Another one wid a jacuzzzi(heaven villa).the next with a jacuzzi and swimming pool(heaven suite) and the cream of the crop the ocean suite which comes with 2 rooms nd tub jacuzzi swimming pool ocean view all in a nice expensive package.all come wid an extra fee if you want to upgrade.the food selections were good enough with a wide variety of desserts offered.Although, 2 bottles of water weren't enough to beat the heat, we found out later that you could stop by the bar for unlimited water. The bar near the restaurant however didn't meet expectations ,unless you take an all inclusive package, its pointlessly expensive. The strolls in the night are priceless. You might spot some baby sharks in the waters buy like one of the employees said even id like to think of them as vegetarian.lots of water sports offered if you are an adrenaline junkie.if not u still have a lot to do.like walking unless u have prebooked their free Buggies. Indoor sports like badminton, tennis, billiards, basketball and what not. If u can you should spend more days there cause you might not be able to complete it all. The only bad review i can give them is that they dont offer bath robes in all the rooms. And the beach villa bathrooms have an outside bath area connected to the bathroom by a door that is clear.

Take Heaven villa and see the mrng sunrise. It was woww experience.. overall amazing stay. Indeed this is Paradise on earth.

Whole Maldives is overprice and very boarding place, no alcohol outside of resorts even airport VIP lounge no alcohol, moving to place to place is complicated and expensive. That was my first and last in Maldives.

I chose Paradise Island resort and spa for the first 2 days of my stay in Maldives before I moved to another 5 star property in Kandooma for 3 days. Honestly, I was so mesmerized by the beauty of Paradise that I was already sceptical of what can be better than this and was waiting to find out where I paid 3 times more than Paradise. After experiencing both, my judgement is here: Paradise was the best thing that happened to us on our trip. The resort organizes free activities like Salsa dance, aqua gym, Shark feeding, stingray feeding, best couple show etc.. thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked full board and honestly were spoilt for choices. The staff is courteous. The Paradise offered much more than the money we spent. Awesome..will be coming back.

Great resort, gives a speed boat transfer. Calm and great place for honeymoon and small visit

Just got back from a vacation at this beautiful property. The view is as good as in the pictures. The staff are polite and helpful. The snorkeling and scuba diving facilities are great. My little problem is that the cottage- at least the one I stayed in- was pretty basic. The mattress, bedlinen, bathroom, towels etc were not upto 5 star quality. And there was what looked like construction waste visible from my cottage.
Maybe I'm being too picky but when on holiday, I really do like sinking into a luxurious bed...

Stayed here for my honeymoon spent 2 nights in superior jacuzzi bungalow and 3 nights in superior beach villa. Both were beautiful and the staff was amazing. Had a romantic dinner on beach, couples massage at spa and activities like kayaking around resort and feeding stingrays and sharks.

A real paradise on earth, the kind staff is all right, there is not one thing to give negative feedback.I recommend this place 100% real

WARNING: do not go here. Extremely over priced, terrible service, no place to get even basic items like chewing gum, boring and no local culture. Most rooms are not ocean facing either, the view is blocked by a sea wall.

Made the mistake of staying here two days. $135 charge per person one way for a boat ride from the airport. Only a 20 minute or so ride. It was $15-$20 one way with other companies to ride to mafuushi over twice the distance. And ferry to mafuushi is dirt cheap.

At check in and check out we had to wait 45 minutes sitting there and the lady was rude. Everything way too expensive. $60 for a 1 hour dolphin tour. For $25 at Mafuushi you can do a half day of boating and snorkling with gear provided and can choose from a bunch of companies. $16 for cocktails or $224 for a bottle. Food took forever to serve. Depending on where your room is you have to walk 15 minutes to get to restaurants. Can still hear rooms next to you through the wall.

Go to Mafuushi or another place, youll have more fun and save money. Was so excited to leave after 2 days. Luckily i hadnt booked a full stay. Youre basically a prisoner here forced to buy monopoly prices with really long waits.

A lovely place with beautiful scenery and great ambience

Paradise on earth, you can enter the water on any part of the island, the beaches are very clean, all the praise for the workers, the staff is very, very, very friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day ... Beautifully arranged park, playground for children, tennis court , volleyball court, pingpong, billiards ... The food is delicious, always warm, fresh fruit, desserts fine, delicious.The staff surprised us the most because they are always smiling and friendly. All compliments to Paradise Island Resort

Superb destination for experiencing value for money luxury. The resort has all facilities to make the vacation memorable. Be it accomodation, food, sports activities, hospitality.... Everything was just wow. We stayed in beach villa for 3 days and water villa for 1 day. Both types of villas have its own experience. I would recommend to try both the villas. I personally loved beach villa more. The cuisine was highly diverse. My wife s a vegan. We were apprehensive of vegeterian food choices. But resort didn't disappoint us. For those apprehensive of lack of Indian food choices, there are plenty of them. But I would recommend to try other cuisines. Food is delicious. A number of Water sports are available. We tried Scuba diving and jet skiing.
Really amazing experience. Looking forward to revisit the place.

A very nice stay in hotels. Beautiful Ocean, fabulous beach. Great kitchen! Everything you could wish for on vacation is here. Close to the airport, boat transfer.

The room we had was old and worn. Expensive place but the service was nice, except those in the bar to the left of the entrance. The water was fighting well and a little too hot in the air. 30 degrees and not a gust of wind

My experience at the property was mixed. First they cost of every thing is high. Too much formalities for check in process. I was with family 3 kids and wife total 5 paxs. Took 40 mins for check in. The food cooking quality was bad. They need one Indian/Pakistani cheff for good cooking. We ordered murg curry gulab jamun and fruit platter with rooti for first day at dinner' cost 78$ but no value of money. The food was not tasty at all and half food was wasted out of 3 gulab jamun we hardly ate one. Second day we ordered yellow dall; my wife favourite; and fruit platter. Food was served after 40 mins and dall was not cooked properly. Onion tomatoes dall and other ingredients were not cooked and blended to give shape of dall it was only a mixture of ingredients and spices not woth money at all. Again money wasted. The booking is non refundable and they collect all the charges in advanced which is against business ethics and principals. We got three different rates on these different websites with difference of 10 - 15%. No doubt we enjoyed the luxury and ambience. The staff was good and helpful.
Here every thing needs money and lots of money. While check no one came to ask how was our stay and no formal goodbye. This resort policies are not guest friendly but it's a money making opportunity once guest check in. I complaint the same to the reservation guy but they had no answers but only to say what we can do sir these are our policies and it's written on our website. By publishing on website they assume responsibility is over now it's up to guests to read all policies carefully before coming which normally we mostly don't do. We arranged our own speed boat since their transfer cost was too high but on check in voucher they included the transfer cost which was corrected on my inquiry. Same way on check out they were not aware that I didn't book transfer with them. I paid 100$ for my own arrangement which resort was charging 350$ for 5 persons. One more thing the bathrooms accessories were old and not function properly. I am writing all this because when we paid so much money our expectations are always high to get the value of money. We earn our money with hard work and this is hurting when it is wasted and we don't get the desired value and satisfaction from it for which it was paid. The resort needs to review it's policies and business ethics. They should keep the guest satisfaction prior to making money. We planned to stay more but the way resort charged us for every thing we preferred to check out and moved to Capital to enjoy it's busy and conjusted life style. One thing I forget to tell resort gives one small 250 ml water bottle for each guest free and after that drinking water is chargeable 4$ per bottle. So relax; keep your wallet open all the time and enjoy.
Above I have described what we experienced and what our thoughts on it; other people may have different experience depends on case to case basis.
