Paradise Islands is one of the best resort in Maldives. I stayed here for two nights with family. The resort is a 15min speed boat ride from airport which cost 100$ person. You have to inform them about your flight on booking and go to the speedboat counter in airport. Each resort have their own counter so you can find it easily. Form there you will be transferred to the resort. The report is amazing as is any report in Maldives because of the beaches. The resort is built on a small sand island. The island is covered in white sand which if spectacular. You are welcomed warmly to resort. The rooms are far from the reception so you will have to take buggy ride if you are with kids other wise its 15min walk to the furthest room. Each room have large bedroom and open shower area which was cool. The most amazing part is that each villa has direct access to beach. So you can just go into beach whenever you like. the beaches are swallow and you can literally go a long way into the sea. There are lot of marine life in the swallow water. You can get a snorkel gear and swim all day around. There are four restaurants spread through out the resort. So you can go into anyone to have lunch or dinner. Breakfast is server in the large restaurant near reception. Its one of the best breakfast I have ver had. There are lot of variety dishes.. Since its a tourist place you have stalls for Japanese, Chinese, local cuisine, Indian, thai and western. The food amazing. It was the best part after the beaches. There is also lot of activity in the resort there is childrens part, cycling, scuba diving , para gliding etc. Everything is expensive and all transactions are in dollars. But its work every penny.

.you could spend the night even in the beach .

A good hotel, the staff are very dedicated and friendly. Modern and very nice rooms (Water Villa). Unfortunately you notice a lot of the air traffic and there is currently a lot of construction going on on the island.

We spent our honeymoon in this heavenly hotel.

We spent our honeymoon in this heavenly hotel.

A magnificent and sublime setting. A staff really attentive, smiling, understanding and adapting to our every request.
Perfect hotel service. sublime gardens, sumptuous furnishings, impeccable cleanliness.

Thanks to them, our honeymoon was a perfect and memorable memory. A big thank you to all their teams who pampered us.
A quick wink especially to the Director of drinks at the "Hulhangu" Oussama Bar and all his team. A pleasant and professional staff at all times. We really spent unforgettable evenings thanks to them.

Maldives is the place on the list of must-sees in life!
Especially the water house, which is close to the beach, is so beautiful!
And the staff of this hotel is kind and will recommend friends to go
It s just that the price of the New Year is so expensive.

Lovely place. I spent a week here and I have to say it was great. The food is exquisite, the staff fantastic and the rooms very nice.
I usually love adventure travel and I went here because there is no shortage of fun on this atoll. There are many activities that you can do: snorkeling, diving, many water sports and certainly there is no lack of entertainment! There has not been a night when I was bored (perhaps also thanks to the good cocktails they prepare).
If you are looking for the right balance between relaxation and new experiences this is the right place!

Good proximity to the airport. Big island with a lot of sport possibilities. Very nice staff and good food. Only 3 stars because there are a lot of beautiful islands for me the quieter are otherwise recommended.

Lovely resort spread over a large area. It's only a 15 minute speedboat drive from the airport. The staff here are very friendly. I booked a beach cottage, and the door leads to white sands and emerald blue water. They also have water villas. There are a number of dining options as well as a bar. Overall I had a great stay and would be back again

Paradise Island Resort is an amazing resort for a honeymoon destination!!! The staff, island, tropical weather, beautiful waters, and amazing spacious living accommodations make it a romantic destination. Upon arrival till departure, we were taken care of by everyone at the resort. The food buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner were different menus each day, which are so so tasty! We truly enjoyed our honeymoon as there are activities included at the resort, or if you want to take it easy you can do that too. Snorkeling is a must as well as the shark feeding and stingray feeding demonstrations in the evening! We will definitely come back for another trip, highly highly recommended!!!!!

Such an amazing place! Spent there 12 beautiful days of our honeymoon, great place for a photoshoot as well. Maldives is like different world and this Island is truly a Paradise! Nice, clean beaches, gorgeous sunsets and beautiful warm sea, warm every time no matter it rains or not. A lot of activities on island, tennis, squash, billiard, ping pong, gym. You can rent bikes or just walk the island, it s not even kilometre long by 300 meters wide. For relaxation there is sauna an jacuzzi as well as big Spa. Water sports available too, yacht, jet boats and many more.
Food was great, menu had so many varieties, every day we d eat something new.
Staff is very friendly and helpful they do their job best!
Next time if we go to Maldives we ll pick a different date though, we went there in May and this when the rain season starts, we got a lot of rainy and windy days unfortunately, but still had fun. However the best time to get here would be anywhere from August to February when it s dry here.
Thank you very much Paradise Island! We had a blast! Can t wait to see you again!

OK, now where to start.

OK, now where to start.
There are a few pros, and many cons in my opinion.
The pros: most of the stuff is friendly and helpful (if you give them a tip now or then).
Collection from the airport went well, ride time with the boat was about 20 minutes.

The cons: the island is close to the airport, so there is quite a lot of air traffic (especially from smaller water planes) around.
The management is in-consequent with their "no drones allowed" policy. Before I got here I asked for a permit to fly with a drone, anywhere on the island or even when outside on a boat excursion. I got denied any drone flying whatsoever. When I was there, a guy pulled out his drone and started flying. He was stopped by the staff right away. But then he got the counter, asked for a permit, and got a permit! Yeah, that's how you do it! If you do it the correct way and ask in advance, you get nothing. But if you are brazenly, you get what you want! I spoke to the guy at the counter and he couldn't really explained that. I told him how disappointed I was, and was expecting at least some compensation. But I got nothing! Very disappointing! And I asked in advance, many weeks before my stay, many e-mails, all denied to fly with the drone!

The next thing: at 00:30 in the night the telephone rang! Someone from the reception asked if they should send someone to fix the WiFi...I never called the reception nor did I asked for help with the WiFi. Thanks to the call in the middle of the night the kids woke up and my wife and myself couldn't really get back to sleep so the next day was really hard...

The food in the "Bageecha" restaurant: for the Indian guests (there are a LOT of them!) it was very good I'd say, for a european it was very bad. So few choices of "european" food, very fish-based, and the worst thing: due to the building style (no real "walls"), the wind was going through the restaurant all the time, making the food cold. So from putting it to the plate until getting to your table, the food was cold already. The quality was quite OK, the desserts had a good variety. The next problem are the Indian guests. So, dear Indian people, if you read this: NO, you cannot take your fingers to get the vegetables out of the bowl! There are food pliers to do the job!! It is unhygienic to take your fingers for this! And if there are people in front of you, waiting for some food to get re-filled, it is not OK to step ahead and try to be the first one, when others have been there waiting for minutes! Get some manners!

The next thing that I didn't like at all: why on earth do I have to sign EVERY bill, even though it is a "0,00 US$" bill as I was an All-Inclusive guest? That is very annoying and counteracts the "environment protecting" idea a lot!
In the Bar we always had to wait quite long for our drinks (except for some waiters, who were very nice - but later more of that), then got the bill after just one drink, so to let us know "no more than one drink please". Very annoying! The quality of the AI-drinks was quite OK, softdrinks came from a bottle/can, same with the beer. The cocktails were quite OK, too - if you got them after a while.

And the final bad thing came up when I was home - one of the "nice" waiters (he even followed me on Instagram!) copied a photo from my Instagram-account (!) and put it on his own account! I reported it and it got removed luckily. But how sneaky is that?

The "Q Adventures" watersports were quite good, the snorkeling and dolphin tours were awesome, very helpful staff, good organisation. The Jetski-ride was good, too. I can't recommend the parasailing though, I asked if we would be sailing in front of the island, and they said yes. But instead we went out onto the ocean, so we saw: water, water, water and even more water...

Overall I cannot recommend this hotel. The Maldives are lovely, so next time I will go somewhere else, further away from the airport, with hopefully fewer Indian guests...

One of the best islands in Maldives. We stayed there for 5 days 4 nights. The beaches, villas and beach bungalows are absolutely fantastic. The food is awesome with cuisine from all around the world. The resort is a five star resort with all the amenities. Wish to visit again. Life time memories I had from here.

It's amazing place to chill out in peace, serves good food and amazing hospitality..though superior beach bungalow was better than water Villa...only take water Villa for one day just to get an experience

Calm place and there were good facilities to keep us entertained. Wide variety in the buffet at lagoon and bageecha restaurant to cater to everyone's taste. You would expect the food to be more spicy especially if you are Indian.

Please read all...will try and give balanced review starting with the good stuff.

Beautiful island-white sand , blue water..the stuff we all dream of when we think of island hols. Lots of fauna in the water right by the beach.....Defoe prepare to snorkel lots. Canoeing...dolphin watching..even diving...yes even you the non swimmer can go diving with instructors...great fun. We we were superior beach bungalow..which I think is the cheapest one..not sure about this. Accommodation was reasonable...but not 5 * (there are nicer looking water villas e.t.c.) ...cleaned promptly every day..bedding changed. Our deal came with full board (i would recommend this...everything is super super expensive) so enjoyed 3 buffet meals daily...lots of variety...a good attempt at international cuisine..lots of fresh veg and fruit so vegetarians and whole food plant based peeps..do not despair.
Overall...the staff are super friendly and are out to facilitate anything and everything.

On the other hand..being a tourist resort..everything comes at a price...we are not talking Maldivian Rufiya...its all in US dollars...the water sports and excursions I mentioned above are at least $10 And $40 respectively. The gift shop items are also quite pricey. To hire the snorkelling equipment also significant amount....Most things on the resort come at a price. So your final bill...in addition to what you will already have paid by the time you arrive at the Island can be quite significant...so..brace yourself and your bank acc. Btw...to be fair to Paradise Island resort, I think the "pay for everything in $US and everything is super expensive " theme is probably true for the tourist industry in the Maldives.

Finally.. if your bank acc is robust...and u are not worried about the bill...then it's a perfect Island holiday. The beauty of the Island...is worth the expense...made some wonderful memories surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Hi,

Value for money, won't be disappointed however food prices are really high. Service in the resort was satisfactory.

Nice view of the ocean from the beach, serene and picturesque clear turquoise water.

P. S. Beawere of Small Sharks and Sting Rays, coral may bruise your feet.

It's an amazing resort! The entire island is a resort. You can go wherever you want. They have fun activities like sting ray feeding and shark feeding. The speedboat commute to the airport and the restaurants in the island are very overpriced though. The room service is really bad as well. It's just the place that leaves you spellbounded. The water villas are beautiful too!

Guys must visit at least once a lifetime! The place is wonderful and so are the people. Food delicacies are another punch with extra activities are just add on, be it Water Sports or Spa and many more. Go ahead plan your trip with your love and make it a cherishing one.

Amazing resort with beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Stayed here for 4nights between 19-Apr and 23-Apr.
Superior Beach Bunglow room was quite large and cozy. You can access the beach right from your room, but try for rooms between 274-304. The one I stayed at 195 was quite far from reception/lobby but buggy service was provided everytime, and they reach within a few minutes.

Haven Villa, you have to be there to experience it. It's a huge Villa on top of the ocean and you can go right into the water from your Villa. And also has a Jacuzzi.

Food- has a lot of options right from Indian to continental and more. Should have more options for Indian vegetarians.

Service is good and during our stay at the beach Bunglow the indoor ac was not working and they changed it within 30mins.

My visit and stay was incredible. The best thing about the resort is the cleanliness and service. As distances within the resort are huge so sometimes you need a transport which is always available free of cost even late at night. You get a drop in a open car moving around in the resort. I called reception late at night when I was sitting in the room of my friend and wanted a drop to my room, they immediately sent the car.

Water sports is amazing specially the underwater experience is life time unforgettable deal. One should not miss it but before that you have to fill up a form and must be healthy and strong enough to go under water in the deep sea. Security arrangements are much appreciated but still one needs a big heart to do this activity.

Views from the resorts are incredible. If you take underwater challet then those are outstanding but you need to book them well in advance as those are always full. But the experience is amazing. There is a restuarant at the north end of the resort right after crossing the underwater challets. It is a beautiful walk through the wodden infrastructure. We used to spend lot of time at that restuarant as the sea waves were touching it. At night when sea moves back then there is altogether a different view from the terrace of that restuarant.

I enjoyer playing pool and table tennis with friends which is located near the reception area. We enjoyed the late night party near the pool. Had a nice swim in the sea as well as nice time in wonderful swimming pool of the resort.

Must not forget the amazing food. Huge variety of indian, continental and chinese cuisine. The taste ia amazing. Whether we talk about the main course or the sweet dishes, all are so wonderful and fresh. The timings are defined for the meals and one can really enjoy the meal.

Resort also has a Mosque for Muslims. It is nicely maintained by the management.

Overall it was an outstanding experience for me and my friends as we were around 85 colleagues staying together. Hatts off to the management of the Resort.

Friendly staff, great service.

Friendly staff, great service.
super delicious food! Really everything! I can only say greetings to the chefs.
From the bungalow from 50m you were in the sea.
There was a shark "swam" in your way not very far out
Shark feeding in the evening at 7pm: a must see.

Unfortunately everything can only be used to a limited extent at the moment. Because of corona. Ferries to Male did not go. We were almost trapped on the island.
On arrival 22.7. There were a maximum of 30-40 guests in the resort. Splendid.

1 deduction because of the horrendous prices. O.3l Cola $ 3.50 + 10% service surcharge + 12% tax. We're at $ 4.31
15min jet ski $ 80
2 pizzas, 1 08/15 mixed salad and 4 drinks were just $ 80

Weather, water etc of course a dream.
You definitely have to see it.

It was a wonderful experience and completely delighted. Serene and calm beaches which are excellently maintained, superb ground staff and super food with good spread for vegetarians too. Paradise ticks all the boxes for a memorable vacation.

I found rooms are adequate in size and furnished with all necessary laundry and tea/ coffee maker. Good thing is that you can just strode down to the beach from your room any time.

We had a full board plan and spread on breakfast lunch and dinner was very good. They had continental, south Asian and indian spread covering a good choices. You can choose other restaurants by paying extra for a different experience.

All water sports including scuba and within the island and support by very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent support from staff and front desk. Enjoyed scuba diving, submarine dive and paragliding along with other activities.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for our honeymoon.
The period was May, a wonderful climate. The dream place. Clean and very tidy. I only put 4 stars because I found a negative point, the food could be more intercontinental but it is much and too Maldivian, there would be a larger breakfast for all tastes, there is no corner for those with intolerances but overall the place It is valid. The staff are also very helpful and knowledgeable

Lovely place. Especially the haven villa suites. Co operative staff and quality service. Food is also good. Worth every penny spent. Just book full board meals (unlimited meals- breakfast, lunch and dinner) because food is expensive in Maldives in all island resorts. Upgrading to haven villa and ocean suites is cheaper at the resort if rooms are available. Must book these rooms atleast for 1 night. It's a wonderful experience.

Great experience and best resort I have ever visit, different choices of restaurants and cafes, unforgettable days of my honeymoon, the only thing I didn't like was that no privacy in the beach villas.

The best vacation of my life so far! At the resort we were pampered and treated very well, the place is lovely.
Fun entertainment, Rooney top as far as water aerobics is concerned (very fun lesson) and extremely friendly waiters (I recommend having a chat when you can, they are lovely people and above all very grateful)!
Beautiful excursions, especially snorkeling in another island ... indescribable, an underwater paradise! Too bad for the very high price, but in the end you are in a resort, everything is proportionate.
The food is not bad at all, we had the buffet every day which varied often and was suitable for all palates. Top desserts, good and varied breakfast.
One of the few negative things was the presence of ants on the bed, unfortunately normal in those areas, but the staff was very kind and immediately intervened to resolve the situation.
Overall 5 stars all deserved!

After going through all the quotes finally, Sun Tourism topped the list since they gave us better quotes as compared to all. Also, they got us in touch with local agents who helped us getting all the necessary things and customized our entire trip to Maldives.. We were left with no complaints at all with the smooth booking experience...

Day 1: The Day...!!

Excited and happy, we took our car ride,(which was booked by Sun Tourism) then our flight from Mumbai at 1320 Hrs and reached Male city by 1600 Hrs. On landing we got in touch with the representative from the resort and he got us transferred to the island resort in a speed boat. It was during this speedboat journey that we truly felt the vibe of 'what a perfect destination' since we were now surrounded by crystal clear water which had different shades of blue and an even bluer open sky....

On our arrival we were welcomed with the outstanding staff and a beautiful reception with a drink accompanied by the check- in formalities. Then after the late lunch was served at the 'Dhaavani Coffee Shop', we were escorted to our 'Superior Beach Bungalow'. This was to be our home for the next 2 days and staying in this exciting island resort made us look forward to the good things yet to come!

We relaxed for a while in our room, then began to explore the huge island resort..

Paradise Island Resort and Spa is a beautiful and grand property with 5 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, a bar, various water activities and a luxurious spa. Witnessing this amazing view of the island's luxury was a bliss.... We were both happy now and looked forward to an exciting time ahead...

Dinner was served at the 'Bageecha' restaurant again a lovely seven course menu post which we went back to our comfortable room.

Day 2: Luxuriating the water sports.

We woke up completely refreshed this morning.

Post breakfast, we proceeded to spend our day doing thrilling water activities like scuba diving, jet ski, snorkelling and sea plane ride. This was an amazing experience for us and we really had a good time experiencing all the activities.
We went to a separate beach area in the resort and had a great time talking to each other and making the best of the moments we had..
The other half of the day was spent experiencing the luxurious spa.

Day 3: The best of the Paradise.

This day again, we woke up late but fresh. We got ready quickly and proceeded to check-out the beach bungalow and move into the 'Haven Suite' for the rest of our stay...

Post lunch we moved to the luxurious Haven Perched at the edge of the reef, bask in magnificent views of the breathtaking, crystal clear lagoon and the ocean beyond from the window of our exclusive Maldives suite with an exclusive private pool and a Jacuzzi, we were mesmerized...

A casual day in a luxurious suite, we were now totally spoilt and pampered by the services around us... Simply wanting to relax, but in a different setting. We truly felt like we were in the lap of luxury.

Day 4: Affair of the Heart.

Post breakfast which was served at the 'Lagoon restaurant' we decided to spend some time by the exotic pool in the suite experiencing the luxuries provided by the resort.
As the evening grew we witnessed a beautiful sunset spending a lovely time and talking to each other at the cushioned day beds in the private veranda.
The night passed under the black sky with twinkling stars.

Day 5: Last few moments in Paradise.

As our flight was scheduled early in the morning we had our breakfast for the last time at the 'Dhaavani coffee shop' and we headed our way back to INDIA.

It is a wonderful setting, good food, cleanliness, attention, very slow check out, and should modernize the complex a bit and add lighting at night, to get to the room after dinner the lack of lights was noticeable
