This place is really heavenly, the staff too kind. The buffet is pretty good too. Nothing wrong with this hotel.

Better than what we expected.
Good place for vegetarians as there are plenty of options to eat. Everything was good. As a kind gesture paradise management gave us one extra day of stay at the water villa when we told them we were planning to upgrade.

This is my second visit after 2008. The inexplicable beauty and the maldivian hospitality is intact. But unlike the visitors from yesteryears, the newer visitors are not cooperating with keeping this nature's wonder clean and calm. I hope things will not go bad from bad to worse. We stayed in the water Villa and dinned at lagoon restaurant, both so good. Had our private lagoon to swim and snorkel. Abundant fish, Ray's, sea cucumber and corals. Watched shark feeding and fed Ray's.

Our honeymoon trip. The location is very close to Male island, which actually saves lot of time travel time from the resort. The resort was very well maintained, right from our check in till check out things were absolutely perfect. Just loved the food, the atmosphere and most importantly how each staff member treats you. A very hospitable environment. Any concerns you have, the staff is there to assist you even at odd hours. Two specific names that I would like to share are Mr. Ruhul Amin from the rent shop and Mr. Sunil from the Italian restaurant. Really bonded well with these two.
A must visit property if you are planning to visit maldives.

Perfect place to chill, relax and do nothing. Don't forget to grab your snorkel gear while visiting paradise as they have lot of places around the island where you can dive.

Perfect is the word. Very courteous staff. Neat and clean rooms. Good food. Super clean beaches. A lot of recreational activities. Overall an amazing experience. Prices on a steeper side but it was worth every penny.
Advice: Opt for Breakfast and Dinner.

The ambience, food quality, views was amazing....But I have complaints also, we have booked for excursions & submarine for each day due to lack of persons it was cancelled but when we want to cancel the submarine we were being told that it can t be cancelled as it has been booked via third party u have to pay full amount as these details were not being told to us . I don t have recording to prove it but I had a conversation of this with madam nish. Mr. taufiq was too good.

The best service I have ever had, everyone is so nice and helpful on this resort.
There is NOT one thing I could complain about.. even the food and drink was great with so many options for people to choose from.
I would come back here with my partner in a heart beat .

Apart from a few minor age-related blemishes in the bathroom everything is perfect: clean, good and varied food, attentive service and of course the ideal location right on the sea. Recommended!

Beautiful resort with all great amenities. Water villa .overall excellent staff. Buffet all meals had great variety n taste..water spirt activities, romantic meals, drinks etc on add. Charges but worth it.. Lenlyn was our concierge she was great,via whatsapp it was easy communication. .

A place in sync with its name 'Paradise'. Yes it's a paradise on the planet earth. Honeymooners, vacationers would have a gala time here with beachside stay, good food, spa, water activities and shopping. Though it's priced bit high every dollar you spend here is worth it. Go for this place for a good hospitality and scenic tranquility. I can vouch for this place in the current year 2018 :)

This is my second visit to this resort. I came to celebrate my 50th birthday with my sister and friends. The staff met me at the front desk singing Happy Birthday . When we went to the disco that evening, my birthday was acknowledged as well. Any hiccups were rectified by the handsome Razzam and the one of the managers. The staff was super friendly and moved with urgency. The water sports staff was inviting and only flashing smiles. Lynlin was our greeter and provided communication via WhatsApp to keep everyone informed. I was able to attend the foam party on my first visit, by it being provided on Saturdays my family and I could not attend. I really wanted that. But overall, I really enjoyed my vacation/50th birthday bash!!!!!

This hotel provides a very luxurious stay.. they have all sorts of water sports and the trainers are well trained and carefully explain the instructions of safety guidelines to be followed. The food here is a spread of all types of cuisine so you definitely cannot taste everything in one go. Must visit if you want to plan for an intimate romantic holiday

First of all a couple of complaints: The hight prices! quick snacks, drinks, souvenirs, activities are generaly overpriced and are your only choicies since the resort is isolated. Also in almost every 5 star hotel suite room mini bars are included in the price or suite guests get some complementary services and perks, We paied almost 550 /night for heaven water villa and didn't get anything more than the room itself.

On the other hand the water villas are spectacular rooms. They offer great views, nice isolation, big comfortable spaces and of cource a lifetime experience once you climb down the stairs to the water.
The waters are so clean and the sea is full of corals and millions of colorfull fishies.
Swimming along with the sharks was definately the highlight of our stay!
The food was very tasty especialy at the lagoon restaurant (maldivian fish are the best i've ever had) and the staff was always polite smilly and ready to help. We had the best honeymoon and we recomen this island.

One of the biggest island resort in Maldives. very good rooms. food is tasty in dinner as compared to breakfast and lunch. please bring your swimming costumes prior because shops on island sell products at very much costly rates. try to take bicycle on rent for one day only as it won't be useful for everyday purpose as island is small. island charges every sports, rides l,special occasion celebrations and all other events island celebrates that are charged heavily resort. Go for glass boat tour you can get chance to see dolphins like we got to see them. go for city male excursion it good. keep your sunscreen with you while travelling. ask room number more than 200 because below 200 are not sea facing.

Location - 20 min speedboat drive from male airport. Beutiful island.
Food- limited variety for veg indian food, but you can have indian taste.
Lots of variety in buffet with breads, fruits and pastries.
Lots of variety in non-veg food.
Service- staff is very polite and humble with excellent sevice.

Excellent place with scenic views. Please book FULL board which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was awesome with lots and lots of desserts, you can just live on them if you have a sweet tooth.
Book rooms according to your taste as some block the sea view due to the coral reef, so check the island rooms layout.
Lot of water activities, but a bit expensive.
Take loads of sun screen. water is crystal clear. My kids njoyed alot.

Wonderful atoll for a relaxing holiday. Fairy landscapes even if there is not so much to visit the days are filled with photos, idleness, meet the fish swimming opportunity to feed them, very varied sports activities TOP .Landscape TOTAL .

The best place to chill with your partner. The water villa is the best part about this place. Make sure your are carrying all the currency in USD. Best hospitality and the night atmosphere is very soothing. Do plan to visit this hotel and the country if you require peace without having to go from places to places.

First time in Maldives and it s a paradise. Beautiful white beaches with clear blue water, you can see the fishes swim around. Friendly and serviceminded staff. We really enjoyed.

Very luxurious, everything clean the ONLY point that I personally found VERY NERVIG were the employees who were too nice and ran after you.

Very beautiful place for a vacation or a honeymoon trip in maldives . It's expensive though ,Rs 17,000 per night in superior bungalow , Rs 21,000 per night in Sunshine villa & Rs 40,000 for water villa inclusive of free breakfast meal. The water sports activities , romantic setups across beach are quite expensive even. But, everything comes down to the beauty & relaxing time on which you have spend. Worth it !!

Note : Green tax of 70 USD (for maintenance of plants , corals & marine life in the section of island) & 120 USD from Airport to Resort in Speedboat is mandatory to be paid at Hotel reception. The resort is situated in Male North atoll.

Not for barefoot fanatics, but well suited as an entry-level island. Close to the airport, no long transfer. Good for snorkeling.

Stayed in the water villa for 2 nights for our honeymoon and we both really loved it! We stayed on the island the whole 3 days (early Feb 2018) strolling around the beach, snorkeling straight from the back of our villa, watched shark feeding and fed stingray (everyday at 6.30 for shark feeding and 7PM for stingray feeding).

The staffs were very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Snorkeling gears could be rent only for US$ 10 from 8.30AM-5.30PM. We could find many small coral fishes, sharks, and also stingrays (not dangerous but we didn't get too close to them). There were not too many people in the resort so we felt like we were on a private island.

You could walk around the resort or take the free buggy whenever there is empty one passing-by.

For food, I highly recommended the Italian restaurant there. It offers the best view compared to other restaurants, and the food was amazing! Had antipasto platter and prosciutto pizza for lunch. The portion was too big for us so we kept the leftover pizza for dinner at our villa.

A wonderful place for Indians. Food being one of the vital considerations for Indians, this island is providing wide variety of not only Indian flavoured dishes but also other cuisines as well. Staff is humble and even if you forget anything in the rooms they will return it to you promptly if you have a room change in the island. Rooms are spotless. Best suggested for newly married couple.
Overall it's a wonderful experience in spending time in this Island.

Improvements can be done in ...
1. Cart ride availablity should be improved from room to main area. As it's a long walk from rooms.
2. Small Buckets can be added to bathrooms.
3. Buffet Food timing should be increased by atleast 30 mins to make it atleast 2 hours time.
4. Availablity of one doctor should be 24*7 in such a big resort.
5. Souvenir or purchase shops in Paradise did not have Swim Suits availability for Swimming Pool.

Very clean and cared for place, nice and helpful staff, the cottage was a little 90s with old furniture etc, the food quite international and repetitive, a little too much noise every night due to parties but otherwise nice beach and very nice holiday!

Nice place. I & wife stayed there. Sharks come to beach for feeding at 6.30pm, sting rays at 7.00 pm. Good buffet. Nice chalets. Nice shallow beach with white sandy bottom. Dancing classes good. Fun entertainment. Recommend stay if you can afford it.

Great place for honeymoon. Lot of activities to do inside the resort specially water sports and spa. I would suggest to go for the All Inclusive package. It is totally worth it.

Beautiful, very nice employees. The restaurants are excellent. Sometimes the dishes of the buffet are overcooked but otherwise the flavors and diversity are there.

First time in Maldives? Try "Paradise Island Resort and Spa" If you really want to experience the beauty of Maldives do not settle in staying Male (Capital City) Maldives, take extra step and move around there are many small islands which you can explore. Be watchful of the Island Resort prices it frequently keep changing which I feel is not a good strategy. I spend about 800 USD per night and booked the hotel but later figured out the price dropped to 350 USD. But I still rate this hotel 5 Stars, because of the nice experience and lot to explore. Except the price everything is stunningly beautiful about this place. Must visit and share your experience.

Beautiful sand beaches and warm, pleasent sea. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is okay, not great but you can find something yummy for yourself. All inclusive option is not "all" at all so maybe check out before you select it. A wide range of activities and you can feed sting rays by hand in the evening. The waterfront beach bungalow was great and cleaned often.

Fantastic scenario at a 5 star resort island in Indian Ocean. There are beach bangloes and water villas. The water villas are of different categories with different facilities. All water villas connected to land by wooden walk ways but situated in ocean over pilers. The walk ways are also in the ocean over pilers, but built strong enough to run buggy over those. There are stairs to get in the ocean directly from the rooms. There are swimming pool in some water villas, but those are really expensive. The beach bangloes are also fantastic. They have a door to get in beach directly from room. There are 2 beach chair per room. All 5star facilities are there. They arrange shark feeding and sting ray feeding at two different site, which is spectacular to experience. They also have many water sports facilities like jet ski trip, para sailing, banana ride, dolphin observation,etc. There foods are also good and have varieties of restaurant. There service is very good and they are very helpful.

We had 10 wonderful unforgetible days and 11 nights in this resort. We had a superior bungalow which was great with sea view and cleaning perfect ! Thanks to our Nelson, great all inclusive we had and it was worth every penny breakfast was super, lunch and dinner just excellent !! Great quality and loads of variety. The staff was always very friendly and we had lots of fun with them, from Nepal 2 guys and one Indian guy as well. The Italian restaurant was our favorite though, great food and not overpriced with very friendly staff too. One was helping out with the crab race..our pittbull .very kind and one guy from Nepal also very nice. We saw a turtle who swam by while having dinner amazing And do not forget the Bar, great friendly staff (chivani, Danku, rainbow man all you guys sorry don t remember all names but you were all great) great manager and great entertainer Bebo metal man best DJ Hassan ....I never sang that much kareoke even with my man also the variety of Drinx for all incl. are great quality we definitely recommend this place white sandy beaches with loads of and saphir blue water And at last we would like to thank you all guys for making our holidays just wonderful and perfect

Very poor coordination of staff I waited almost 5 hours to get my room ready ..person came after me got the room but we were waiting and waiting .. unprofessional excuse by the team ...#PoorProfessional my stay is still on but need to put this review so that such type of time wasted should not occurred.

The resort lives up to its name with its lovely white sand beaches, crystal clear waters with harmless sharks and sting rays swimming along with you and a bunch of wonderful courteous staff. The place is a 20min boat ride from the Male airport, which the resort arranges. The food is great but naturally gets repetitive after 3 days. Coffee is awful so avoid it as far possible. My suggestion is choose the superior beach bungalow...the garden villa is not beach facing and the water villa does not allow you easy access to the beach but only to the water directly. The place is expensive as every price is denominated in US dollars. But overall a place to consider if you think of Maldives.
