Came here for my gfs bday few years ago. I must say this one of the best days of my life and the best place and room I ve ever stayed in hands down ! I had a villa with pool and jacuzzi just beyond amazing! Make sure you pay extra for the water villas there is no comparison. The beach rooms for the price are not a good value for the price. The staff was so amazing that they let us stay in the beach room for a few hours the next day while we waited for the boat for under $20! After staying in water villa she couldn t even stand to be in the beach room there is a HUGH difference !! This place really is paradise can t say enough how fantastic the staff is here !!! I could definitely see myself returning here one day .. thanks so much paradise staff!!

Nice place in the middle of sea with full Board 5 star facilities.

Excellent hotel in Maldives. An extremely fast 20 min boat ride from Male airport takes us to this beautiful resort. Super support staff which is extremely professional and efficient. Island is clean with great greenery within and blue waters on all sides. Good mix of restaurants on the island - japanese, italian, sea food and a multi cuisine one. Go for full board since a la carte looks expensive. Bageecha restaurant is for beach bungalow villa - meals are lavish with a huge buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar is great and non-expensive right on the beach. Shark and Stingray feeding (free of cost) is fun. Small excursions (at additional cost) are also good, we took a half day local island visit and snorkel tour which was nice. Fishes are visible all around the island even in angle deep water. Island is big so there is lots of walking to do, if you are in beach bungalows in 150+ series - best luck. Best side of the beach and water to swim is in front of beach bungalow of series 280+. Water villas are cool but are mostly on Coral which looks pretty dead, but it still attracts lots of fish. There are other activities like dance lessons, disco nights, etc. Spa is nice and offers good discounts and offers. It's a value for money resort.

A paradise on Earth.. beautiful place to explore. Everything is just awesome. Night party at bar is full on enjoy when hosted by "Bebo".. no boredom... You just can't skip his crazyyyy ideas to make everyone happy.

But parties not hosted by him are quite boring.. in nutshell, worth visiting this place.. awesome experience

Nice Hotel, not luxury, but good. The food is not various, the service is not fast. The swimming pool is shabby and needs renovation. But it is worth its money.

An excellent hotel. Everything was great. The hotel is amazing, the facilities are very good. The environment is incredible, the beaches, the views. What I liked the most was the staff, all very friendly and willing to help you and solve any problem. The food is good. I don't know when but I know I'll be back. I can't say anything bad about the hotel because I thought everything was great. Thanks for a perfect vacation.

Beautiful place! Heavenly as the name suggests.
The staff are very friendly and the welcome is warm.
During my stay, I had a reservation problem on Booking which made my stay hellish and they helped me a lot to find solutions. I especially thank the assistant of the customer service of the hotel, Mr. Ahmed Isam. He is a man of values.

As the name suggests, it is really a paradise on earth. Five Star Property, with crystal blue waters & pristine beaches, the tourists will love this place. Add to it a wide variety of delectable food and comfortable rooms with all the amenities you can think, and you have a paradise of your own.

This was one of my best holiday ever.. People at Paradise treat u as guests at their own home. Everything was just wonderful.. Our host Miss Eremi guided us for everything with a smiling face...rooms were very spacious and our beach villa experience was very nice.. The water villa is luxurious. Dining was grand as well as u get a hundred variety of Asian, Indian, continental food. Evenings post dinner spent at Halungabar were fantastic.. Enjoyed every moment spent there.. And not to forget my scuba diving experience with Pat out coach was amazing. I wish to come back again n again.

Never come back at paradise resort

When we arrived airport we waited for 6 hours nobody came to pickup us becoz they were confused about our reservation Hence ,that was resort s mistake.finally After 7 hours we arrived at resort paradise rooms,food was awesome we enjoyed lot . But on departure time they were giving us cake as a complimentary they called us for that but after they didn t give us cake and not responded our calls, bad reception service, irresponsible people , they never on their time.

We went here for our honeymoon, paradise island is just what we imagined our destination would be. The place is very beautiful and the staff is very kind and polite.

We did not have to worry for a single thing, as staff took care of everything from our arrival to the departure and arranging romantic dinner on the beach.

The water villa was breath taking loaded with all the luxuries one could imagine. Also the view was perfect.

The island is peaceful and calm indeed and one can enjoy their vacation keeping away from all the fuss.

The only thing to take care of is the water activities as these are too expensive and are for short period of time, i would suggest you to either increase the time of the activities or decrease the prices.

It's literally heaven on earth...
Specifically food is good..
And if you are pure veg ull get proper appropriate meals so no worries...

I come to you to tell you about my misadventure.We were a group of 12 people
Who have been abandoned at the airport of Male.Transfer and booking Hotel canceled because tour operator O Travel would not have made the regulation. The hotel did not want to call the tour operator it did not concern it. After 3 hours of steps with help from the police finally told us that it was resolved. No excuses from the agency or the hotel.inadmissible. I think the two are not serious.We do not send people to the end of the world to abandon them.Thank you Thank you Paradise Iceland.

Crystal clear water ..real paradise.the place is very clean and clear.well maintained.had a good time with family.lots of water sports and other activities.little expensive but if you include your food in the package it will reduce the expenses.best place for wedding photography.they have all the entertainment activities and events.breath taking view of ocean will give you goosebumps.try to go for dolphin safari,it will be an incredible experience

It was an amazing experience and I loved it completely. We stayed in a water Villa and it was worth it with the exquisite sunrise and sunsets.

It's a marvellous place for vacation. Every single thing is a beauty. All staff are very helpful. Alhamdulillah we visited this place. You will be completely lost into heavenly feeling once you step in here.

Its heaven on earth I should say. An awesome location with great hospitality. Mostly all the staff in this resort are very friendly.

Since we opted for Full Board, food was served at Bageecha restaurant as we I had booked for stay at Superior beach bunglow. Indian food taste is okay, you should other cuisines offered as there alot of dishes made by the chef. If ever you visit Bageecha restaurant, you may come through a person called Muhaimin who handles all the work in that restaurant and is a good person by nature. He is a local person so you can ask him for any guidance to roam around.

This resort is located just 20 minutes away from Male airport. This resort keeps you occupied with lot of activities from dance to zumba to magic shows.

Water sports hosted by Dive Oceanus is an amazing experience everyone should try.

Nice resort. They have a party somedays which you can drink(liquor) and eat unlimitedly for 65USD. But food is not in a good in quality. You can drink and dance till mid night. Staff is friendly and provides a great service.

Our concierge person Razzan was outstanding! He catered to our every need we went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. He was very kind and he had a sense of humor! I highly recommend him to anyone who comes to visit paradise island!

We only stayed here for one day while waiting for our plane to departure, so I had no experience with the rooms. The structure was really good and finely maintained, the beaches are huge on both sides of the island. A positive note also for the restaurant, featuring a large and comprehensive buffet. The proximity with the airport makes this resort an ideal choice if you do not wish to spend lots of time with the transfer.

A paradise in family ...
We spent 15 days with four children with 7 and 11 years old. The place is magical: landscape of dreams, bungalows feet in the water, super benefits (service, restoration, home). Thanks to Manuel our diving teacher who made us our padi and brought us to rare and beautiful places. Crossing sharks, rays, turtles is almost commonplace because the maldives are a huge open-air aquarium. Thanks to our very endearing and very professional Fizaan server, and also Zimam.

web reviews look good so i called the number on the website to make a booking. I was told it was a wrong number although its the number posted on the website. I was unabled to take the new number coz i was driving, so i offered them my number so they could return the call to me to take the booking. The lady was very unhelpful, put me on hold indefinitely....seems they are not interested on taking new bookings,which surprises me...

It fully respects the name: it is an earthly paradise.

The resort is complete with all the services, the rooms are spacious and the cleaning service is impeccable. In every corner you can breathe the attention for the customer and absolute relaxation.

The restaurant's cuisine is of a very high standard, like many Italian restaurants.

We went to the island for a 4d/3n trip. Had a superior beach bungalow for 2n and water villa for last night. Weather was nice and warm all through out. Since it's a private island there are no local market or shops to check out. Or for that matter any local restaurant. Everything is planned according to tourist needs here. At the airport after landing we reported to counter 27 where they asked us to wait for other tourists to arrive. After approx 30min we moved towards the speed boat which is right outside of the airport. That is when slowly you start to realise that your trip has started. These boats travel quite fast on water but we didn't feel any sea sickness. You know that you are near the island when you see the jetti and the beautiful beach. Took around 30mins for us to reach the island from airport. We were asked to move towards the resort and our luggage would be taken care of. After reaching reception you have to fill up a form and they will let you know your room number. In our case we reached the resort around 10am and rooms were available from 1:30pm. So we went to the bar for some snacks and coffee. Coffee was not charged as we were waiting for rooms. We went for a short walk around the beach to kill time. At 1pm we were at reception again and we got the room keys. We were allotted the last beach bungalow on the west side of the island. They took us and our bags on a battery operated golf cart(club car). The rooms were clean. Best thing was the beach just outside the rear door. As we had booked a honeymoon package we were expecting some kind of a surprise but we were disappointed. So we called our tour agent and he suggested us to remind reception. We were asked to prove our wedding date. I was lucky that we were carrying copies of marriage certificate. We were told that a white wine bottle and cake will be arranged after 7pm which did happen but instead of cake we were provided with a basket of fruits. After spending the afternoon playing in the water we decided to go out and see the sunset. Then we headed for the buffet dinner at bagicha restaurant at 7:30pm. While waiting for dinner buffet to start we went to see the sting ray feeding. To our surprise for every guest a table is reserved. The variety and quality is superb. Post dinner we walked on the beach to reach our bungalow. Next day morning we decided to see the sunrise but it was not so easy to find the way to get to the east side of the island. Later we went around the island and got a hang of things.
Things to carry:
1) Snacks to munch otherwise you will unnecessarily spend. Remember it's a private island and nothing's cheap
2) Good sunscreen lotion
3) Swimming gear ( suit, glass, cap...)
4) beach wear ( shorts, tees)
5) sunglasses
6) hat/cap
7) scuba gear. Although not mandatory but can come handy if you are not good at holding breath under water
8) sleepers
9) good camera
10) antiseptic cream

Things to be careful:
1) At check out do check your bill twice. We saw multiple guests very unhappy about mini bar stuff added in their bill when they hadn't taken anything. Happened to us as well. After complaining they asked us to wait and later accepted the mistake.

Mediocre customer service at best. Every day we got shuffled around from table to table because they couldn't remember to assign us one on a daily basis. Rooms are old, dated, and dingy. Beautiful beach but overall extremely overpriced for what you're getting.

Nice resort which is in one of the best island in maldives, it s completely safe to stay there and staffs are very friendly and they are always ready to serve the best..little expensive for indians for food and beverages..

Stunning white sandy beaches.
Most of the staff are very friendly and nice. The cabby drivers are the exception. Except for two, they didn't smile or react to questions asked and weren't very friendly.
The rooms were clean, spacious and nice. It was quite peaceful.
Everything is paid in US dollars. Food and drinks are expensive... often more than in Europe or the USA. A normal pizza costs around 23 dollars with tax. Everything has a 10+12 percent tax added to them.
My son borrowed a GoPro for over 45 dollars to go diving. It was not working properly even when the guide took pictures using it, but they refused to acknowledge it and we had to pay everything anyway. So bring your own equipment.

Great resort to try out. Few perks that you can avail in this resort is buggy service for pickups and dropoff, kayaking, surfing and watch shark and stingray feeding for no extra cost.

Amazing place !!! The views are mesmerizing....you get complimentary steam and sauna, indoor & outdoor games, hammocks immersed in water. Altogether a very pleasant environment, you would want to stay awake and see the sunrise here to see the water turn turquoise blue

My wife and I chose Paradise Island Resort for our honeymoon destination. Coming from the U.S. we both wanted to visit a place that was different from the typical Caribbean getaway. What drew us to Paradise Island was their convenient location to Male, an abundance of activities to choose from, and their selection of dining options on-site. We stayed in the Haven Suite over the water and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The convenience of walking down the steps into the water instead of trekking over to the beach was a cool experience! Another plus that exceeded our expectations was the outstanding customer service we had throughout our stay. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were met. Specifically, Lenlyn our resort host, Fauzan who waited on us our first night and all of the wait staff, Imran, Sharif, Zahid, and Oussama all went above and beyond for us. We greatly appreciated their A+ service and hospitality. Initially my wife and I weren t sure if we d ever be able to return to the Maldives, but after our experience here at Paradise Island, we certainly plan on returning!

The concierge may bark at you like a Chinese Dog. I am an official Google Reviewer and was motified by the rude Chinese staff. Senior Staff member Jason, was uncommunicative, highly unprofessional and definately has deterred me from every coming back to Surfers Paradise. What a horrible experience. There simply was no need. I ended up being charged twice and had no apology, no manners.

Best place to spend your vacation. Safe and Beautiful, go for it !
