It has a very nice seaview ,but doesn't have professional service , staff nor atmosphere

+Beautiful classic hotel located in the heart of alexandria. It was close to everything we needed from restuarants to pharmacies and supermarkets.
+The rooftop restuarant is fabulous, as it gives you a panoramic view of the sea and the region around.
+The rooms are clean and sanitized, and the bed is comfortable with one big sofa (we got a partial seaview room)

-The only disadvantage we found is that there was no tea/coffee corner as the rest of the hotels, and therefore there was no water kettle if you need to do any hotdrink during ur stay.

A place of magnificence, a masterpiece, a piano and a team of hospitality at the highest level

It is a nce place and location but hotel is old but classic. Only bad excperiance is toilte had a bad smell

Historical old building, big high windows classic furniture would have given it 5 stars but the carpets were too old and needed changing room lighting is too weak and no night light.

Beautiful Victorian style hotel. Loved the 12 feet high ceiling of my room! And the roof top is one that you do not want to miss! Will be back for sure!

An old and renovated to stay a very classic place.
Rooms are spacey or large.
Breakfast on the top roof is a perfect option with Fairuz music playing and great food choices.

Service is amazing, the rooms and the bathroom are really clean, except for the lobby bathroom. Stayed for a night there and took breakfast, the breakfast was really good. The view of the hotel is amazing and it so close from Ramal station.

Centrally located ideal for shopping. Grand colonial hotel. Lovely rooms. Excellent service and helpful staff.

Lousy service rooms were clean but old. Lazy staff wouldn t answer phone from rooms and everything we asked for was an effort. Shame we are on tour and forced to stay. Actually all in all the hotel location was good But really let down by the staff

I went to this place in 2016 every year at the hostel of Alexandria but all of Shoya Somewhere I stayed at the hotel twice but by 2020 I was back to the Windsor Palace Hotel I would recommend it all to go to this place

The hotel is nice .. i have enjoyed staying there .. but the staff are not really nice specially the receptionist

Quite an old hotel but still comfortable. Shower over bath, so not great for older travellers. Staff are very obliging.

I love how classic the decor is and the friendliness of the staff. I had one unpleasant experience with the smell of the bathroom but other then that I like the place a lot!

The hotel is very beautiful and treated by the sophisticated hotel with an old classic character which is considered to be one of the most beautiful heritage in Egypt

The rooms are clean, the location is excellent, the service is wonderful, the precautionary measures are followed, and the most beautiful in the place is the reception, service, and the cooperation of the staff with the guest as well. I thank Professor Ahmed at the reception for his warm reception and assistance to all the guests, not just me, as he is an example of a hardworking employee

Very high coat with no services at all
Old rooms and furniture
Bad food quality
No water in rooms for drinking
No boiler for tea
Bad air conditioner with high hummidity
No welcoming of any kind
After one night I had to change the room
However one more night and I left the hotel at all

You can move in time. 20 years back. You can smoke everywhere, even at the reception. A good location. A place of great importance

The hotel is ancient and the rooms are very beautiful and the best of what is distinguished by a great private restaurant. The view is a masterpiece that you see as Italy.

Great sea view and suitable for oldies lovers however ventilation and air conditioning is a big problem.

We faced problem with our booking reservation. When we arrived there's no reservation despite we had a confirmation no. The receptionist was very cold and quit at first moments until we met the manager. Was very smart and professional. He handled our problem despite he has no rooms but he did the reservation in his next hotel metropole with upgrading our room to suit. We are thanks for him indeed. And we are looking to go again because of great service and handle our problem.

Reservation team is not friendly. They could cancel your reservation without even trying to contact you. Though, their attitude helped me to find cheaper and better place.

A bit of a historic place, needs a lot of renovation to keep it on its initial condition, rare electricity sockets in rooms, food quality is standard or below, check-in takes a long time, at night the place from outside looks like its closed or not operational, no sign board or lights, staffs are nice and helpful

Great place with a fantastic views, I would have rated 5 stars if the staff and services were as good, the employees needs serious training.

The Vio is a masterpiece, but the music is so loud that you can hear what you have with you, the service is less than normal, and the prices are very high despite the minimum charge.
