The place is borderline antique and plain old. Antique where you enjoy certain things. Plain old when things isn't efficient. EDIT: Oh btw this place doesn't accept refunds. So make sure to check the rooms before paying.

The rooms are old and with little maintenance. Prepare to smell the mold mixed with the sea air. Simple but satisfying breakfast. Located in an area of Alexandria with easy transportation, a large market of shops in the surroundings and the beautiful sea of Alexandria

A place where you can easily lose your valuables I was a guest at their place for a week end during December 2018, the valet and the bell man took my luggage to the car and they missed placing my baby stroller into the back bag leaving it in street. I reached Cairo and I called them dozen times requesting to check the external cameras and their usual answer that they will check and call me back and they never did.
The place is considered an overrated one except for the breakfast.
On our first night we were given a room with wet floors and the toilet is not that comfortable.

It is a historical place, it is a palace converted to be a Hotel. You will love it if you like old style places with high ceilings. Excellent location right on the sea side and it is few minutes walking from Raml station and city center. Breakfast is served at the top floor which has extremely nice view right on the Cornish having indoors and outdoors areas overlooking a large arc of the sea shore, breakfast has a very nice variety of food. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The Windsor is an institution of Alexandria and you immediately feel it: it's not just its interbellum charm in the shape of beautiful high ceilings, plush furnishings and style, it's also in its visitors and the way people behave once inside: you are visiting a grande dame. They have wisely invested in a very trendy nightclub on its upper-roof ( minimum cover for around 200 LE) which is a great space to unwind while smoking a shihsa and listening to very questionable versions of great hits that the DJ spins, and very much in contrast to the rest of the hotel's more historic feel: a successful juxtaposition! Improvements could be made in the WiFi and a good look at the water-pressure and amount of water in the bathrooms might be a good idea. The breakfast is fabulous and enjoyed while overlooking the bay. All-in-all, a great and very romantic place to stay!

I like this hotel very it is very nice with sea view and amazing old style bedrooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly and it is in the center of Alexandria where you have access nearly to everything. I recommend it to those who like the ancient style

Although we were staying at the Metropole Hotel, we always make a point of watching the sunset from the Sky Roof at the Paradise Windsor. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the Sky Roof has been refurbished with a fresh new look and exciting new menu. The view is as spectacular as ever, the food was delicious and we enjoyed cocktails while the sun set over the bay. No visit to Alexandria would be complete without a cocktail at the Windsor Palace!

Unfortunately the worst experience in my life was the room booked with sea view and the booking is printed and clear so there is an explanation that the deluxe room has a lateral view and the seperior is a sea view and the mistake is not them but from the hotel's location which was booked from it and i was given a room with a dirty and dirty room where you could live Where the place is filthy and the furniture is old and worn out and the food is the worst you can eat and God's place is not worth even a single star

Prime location, fantastic view, and friendly staff...

Prime location, fantastic view, and friendly staff but terrible furnishing and amenities. No sound proofing, leaking bathroom fixtures, and terrible mattress in room 109. Lack of sound proofing makes sleep a real challenge as the hotel overlooks Alexandria's main road. Most wood parts (whether decoration in room or doors and windows) are in extremely poor conditions with flaking paint and cracks. Hot water isn't available all the time. They have central heating system with inadequate capacity to supply all rooms. I had to take cold shower twice.

The place is a neglected wealth

The place is a neglected wealth
Service and cleanliness is not good

It was a good hotel, I tried to get a room online but I found it in higher prices than I know about that hotel prices, so I went there and got a room directly from reception. The guy at the reception was not that professional, he gave me a wrong room and tgen the room i wanted and didn't delete the first wrong room, which made some little problems while I'm checking out till they understood the problem. But in general the room was clean and good.
Only that unprofessional guy and the rude girl who are responsible for halls reservations

The hotel added, and it is sweet. There is nothing that bothered us. The staff were tastier and better, and Ahmed Hajeh in the roof place is very interesting and the view of its greatness is very appropriate for you to spend two days and enjoy Alexandria
