Papacita's Mexican Restaurant Review

We Must've came on a bad day. 4 of us Tried it for our first time. Bloody Mary's were small and watered down. Taco salad with Chicken was like a chef salad with chicken on it. Fajita nachos were some kind of smoked beef. Both of these meals were not eaten. Had combo meal with bland beef enchiladas and somewhat good puffy taco. Drinks were not refilled. Tortilla soup was nasty and Enchilada soup was good. I doubt we will be back.

Great Tex-Mex food and the fresh tortillas with butter and honey are the best!

The service was top notch and everyone was super friendly. I will definitely stop in again when I am in town.

My go to for good Mexican food. The atmosphere of the dining area, the chips and salsa, tortillas and butter/honey, it all adds up to a great experience.

Food so good we couldn't stay away! Has a great dog friendly patio that is covered, has fans, and staff that love the dogs, too lol! We were in town for a dog show so our large party met here 3 nights in a row for food and margaritas and were never disappointed! Food is delicious, staff is attentive, food is well priced. Only thing wrong is it's a 3 hour drive from home lol!

Love Papacitas!! Good food and the chips are amazing. Their waitstaff is friendly and service was a lot faster than some of the other mexican food restaurants in and around town.

Love the fish Tortillas. Chicken nachos were awesome.

Had to sit on patio and even eith heater almost froze. Could not eat food,shaking too hard.

Locally owned and delicious Tex-Mex. Love the chips and salsa. Can t go wrong with the fajitas here. Next time you are craving some good ole Tex-Mex try Papacitas.

I've been coming here for 15 plus years. With all the new restaurants in town this one is by far still my favorite. I don't think anybody could put Papacita's out of business.. Ever lol Great staff.

This is the most delicious tex mex food we've had since moving down to South Texas. Everything was tasty, fresh, and made to order. The staff were friendly when we came in but the table service was lacking. We put it off to being close to closing time. We will be back on our next trip through for sure.

Our go to Mexican restaurant when we visit Longview. We can eat here almost as inexpensive as going to a fast food restaurant. We get great service and better food. Even when the parking lot is full, we've rarely had to wait for More

Good Tex Mex food. Almost too many choices, there were five people in our party and we all had something different, and they were all good.

Normally give 5 stars as this is always delish. This time however flour tortillas were small and it seemed like waiter was overwhelmed. 8 in our group and everyone was ready to order but one so instead of taking the 7 peoples order which would have left plenty of time for the undecided one to make up his mind he waited on 2 other tables (large groups as well) and took their orders and got them drinks. Quite disappointing. It was 3 in the afternoon.

Papacita's is an east Texas tradition. Always good and busy. If your in town and hungry there I'snt one around any better than them.

I had the best service tonight! The food has always been good in my opinion but their employees are what sets this place apart usually. The waitress we had was helpful and very attentive. I wish I knew her name but for now all I can say is visit this place whenever you can.

Papacita's is my favorite go to place when I come in from Midland. The food is great! The staff is always accommodating with our large or small family groups! The wait staff are some of the friendliest in town!! The atmosphere is awesome and it's always clean!! Thanks for such a wonderful experience each time!!

Never eating here again! I got food poisoining here yesterday and so did the rest of my party!

Went to have a nice lunch/ dinner with my wife. We waited for a waiter to greet us and ended up waiting 20 min at table no chips or salsa. No drinks. When she finally came she seemed annoyed she didn't care.to be waiting on us at all. The food did not come out hot as we waited a good while for it to be as slow as it was. She never asked how it was, she didn't care. So when we left she ran out the door and flipped us off because we didn't leave a big tip. All while saying thank you sarcastically. I haven't been to this restaurant since I was a child and decided to try it again because I just moved back. I am very unhappy and disappointed. I was really looking forward to something good.

The food was terrible, not even tacobell serves stale tacos

Atmosphere is way cool. Throw in excellent service and food and you got two thumbs up.

Second time in a row missing items in my order when my receipt says items were ordered and paid for...

If I could give zero stars I would. Nothing fresh about it tortillas were cold chips were stale and old.

Seems like every time my boyfriend and I come , we have Joshua as our server! No complaints here, he's awesome...very attentive and anticipates our needs.. From now on we will just ask for him! We love papacitas ...best chips and salsa ever

We had 26 people there tonite and we had a great time the food was good and the service was great!

Our waitress, Megan, was amazing. From the first words until we left, she was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. The food was absolutely amazing. We loved everything about our dining experience. Hoping to be back in Texas again real soon so we can go back.

Me & my family drove from Bossier City to eat here and was not disappointed one bit. The hostess, waitress, and manager were very professional and polite. The food was so good! The service was phenomenal. It is our favorite Mexican place to eat at and we will continue to go. We ordered nachos, burritos, and chicken enchiladas. Everything was hot and tasted fresh and soo good! Highly recommended

After a long day, it was so nice to go in, sit and enjoy a wonderful hot meal! The burrito was absolutely perfect!!! Our waiter was a super sweet young man, too!!
