Great little theatre and right next to the wonderful Shepherd's Bush Market which Boasts the the best and cheapest nut shop in London : Laura's Fruit & Nut Case!
Brilliant interior and bar space. Fantastic venue that is inviting and comfortable as well as conveniently located right in front of tube station. Friendly helpful staff too!
Great shows but bar staff leave a lot to be desired...too busy chatting together whilst ignoring paying customers.
Great intimate theatre. Doesnt matter where you sit you'll still get a great view whichever way that theatre is set up. Very friendly staff. And a lovely little cafe too
Great theatre good selection of plays close to the performance. Good value for money too. Worth a visit
Good theatre. Bitter, my favourite drink was missing at the bar.
Enjoy the quiet, savour the atmosphere, browse through the books.
Enjoy the wide choice of beverages. I loved the cappuccino. The Tea Latte looked good too.
Just drink in the quiet and enjoy the serenity of quieter
times gone by.
The place has a character, coffee is ok, however it seems to have more front of house than a customers. No breakfast to offer, pity.
Too twee? Or not too twee? That is the question. To which the answer is: no, it's perfect
Cozy little theatre, a nice little bar at the entrance (happy hour was after the show started unfortunately!). We saw The Arrival which was fantastic. There were lots of empty seats available- highly recommend to see this show!
Really nice venue but it was the excellent acting in Parliament Square that made it special
This place is great, it's a library, a theatre and a bar so it has something for all seeking adventure. Or if you just want a quite place to sit and work it's great too. Staff are wonderfully cherry and helpfull.
I have seen multiple theatre shows here including Strange Fruit and The Arrival and thoroughly enjoyed both shows. Great bar with area to sit inside and outside before the show. Small intimate theatre.
Cosy atmosphere drinking bar and spacious environment
There was an ingenious cappuccino here, it was really awesome, we did not find it anywhere else. The staff was also very nice and helpful.
Amazing venue. Ground Breaking Theatre that will challenge you and leave you thinking all the way home and until next month.
Fabulous local theatre with great talent. Many plays end up transferring to west end theatres. Lovely bar with indoor and outdoor seating. All, in a beautiful old library.
Very good facility to have in the neighbourhood. The plays are interesting and the cafe is relaxing. Often the cafe is closed unexpectedly for management meetings, which is not the best thing to do for the customers though.
We were at a Sofar concert. The location is cool, cozy.
Quite small but smart and modern theatre really enjoyed the comedy performance by lolly jones
Great value local theatre in Old library building. We loved Arinze Kene's inventive show.
Brilliant space I was visiting for the first time. I had a good 30 minutes on my own while waiting for a friend to arrive and was impressed at the library bar, great for a drink but a nice space to use your laptop or read a book.
The theatre itself was great and laid out with seats all around the stage. Watched a quite brilliant performance of Arrival.
Great venue and an amazing selection of new writing and older plays. Love coming here.
Do not buy drinks in this establishment total rip off
Started coming to this theatre towards the end of last year and I have to say that I rather like it. They have some really interesting and original productions, like Misty which was insightful and punchy to say the least...
Fully modernised , with an ecletic mix of plays and musical events mean this is" a must "on your short list of London theatres .It may lack the glamour of city theatres but more than makes up for that in sheer enthusiasm for everything staged ...you'll be glad you did .
It's a very nice little theatre.
I only saw one play here so it's hard for me to judge their style but that play (B*easts) was fantastic.
I came early in hope of seeing one of the house cats but the more social cat was lost and the other one was in their offices.
Staff were nice and the location is very convenient.
Great experience. We attended 'Strange Fruit'. Great play, actors were very committed to their roles and the set design, in the round, was well thought out and suited to the intimacy of the play's themes. However, it was too hot inside, definitely need to get their air conditioning worked out as that distracted from the performance at times. Service at the bar was great, overall staff at the theatre are lovely and welcoming.
It's more than a theatre, it's the heart of the neighbourhood and the local community. Apart from the avant garde theatrical scene it also offers and amazing space for working, reading and socialising. The team is amazing and they are doing superb job in promoting new theatrical plays and running the place. It's an experience not to miss all day long.
Have been to some really good live gigs here over the years. Good venue in West London
Nearest tubes Shepherds Bush Market, Shepherds Bush, Goldhawk Road and Wood Lane. Lots of buses stop around Shepherds Bush Green.
Really friendly and helpful staff, great show and would definitely want to go to this Theatre again!
Very Friendly Staff and wide range of Drinks available. Also has a lovely Library
Excellent venue for contemporary theatre, with a well stocked bar that also sells sandwiches and cake
The reading room makes a for a warm, civilised retreat from the bustle of Shepherd's Bush when you have an hour to kill, and the terrace is a great place for a cold pint on a hot day.
Small cozy theatre, shows do get a bit loud so be mindful if you are sensitive to high volume.
Great selection of local plays. You can park at the early Westfield cheaply, just a 5-10 minute walk from the theatre. Nice helpful staff with good food available before the shows.
Great to have a coffee and meet people - outdoor + indoor.
Firstly this cafe use to be great, when it opened a few months ago ... now it's abysmal.
The staff are more interested in socialising then actually being customer focused .
The general upkeep was , poor .
Several staff walked by a tray with a tea pot and used mugs which was left there over the time we were there .. a good 40 min.
What happen here ? This cafe could be a gem , but it's in decline .
I won't return .
-Martin
Enjoyed the play really great place buzzing atmosphere
Small attractive venue, nice bar and seating area for pre and post show gatherings
Great venue, great seats, great people.
The play we went to see this day was decent.
Great little venue presenting new work, interesting library too.
A very cosy, calm and inspiring coffee in west London
Interesting plays, affordable tickets, nice interiors and bar
Great surprise, I'd never been before, and the layout, terrace and bar are lovely. There were no restricted views. My only problem was I had booked 10 tickets on the same row and they split our booking into different seating blocks with no forewarning or explanation. Good theatre otherwise, and I'm glad it's now on my radar.
Great theatre that supports the local community and has amazing selection of plays
Service a tad slow waited 20 minutes for a barrel to be changed
Can't believe it took me three years of theatre bingeing to get to the Bush. Lovely venue with great staff. Quality production, looking forward to my next visit.
I visited the cafe today with a friend. There's a large room with tables and chairs and a secret garden outside the backdoor. The staff are really friendly and helpful, however if you're after dairy free options, you'll be out of luck - there's no soy milk behind the bar. Free wifi and good coffee.
I LOVE this place, and I've only been there once. Definitely recommend seeing some high caliber theatre here!
The staff are super friendly and has a baby changing room which is kept nice and clean. Also have a range of vegan friendly hot drinks and food
Great play. Beautiful space. Very slow bar staff, who also recommended poor quality wine and, on getting a second drink (our own choice this time), served it to my husband in a used glass with lipstick still on. When we noticed, poured it into new glass rather than serving a fresh glass. Yuck
Fabulous shows. The newest most innovative theatre I've seen in London!
Thus place is amazing. Such a nice atmosphere. The only downside- the eating audience. during live performance..People, that is not acceptable, it is a theatre, not a cinema
Great venue, nice already to access location. The staff were very attentive and keen to help. Nice style of place that I'd normally expect to find around Shoreditch (that's not a negative). The theatre is spacious with decent seats. Viewing seems good from most angles. The play we saw was amazing.
Great find- lovely theatre. Watched an amazing production called 'And the rest of me floats'
Very good space, good coffee and relaxed be your self atmosphere.
The play we have seen was great. Actors were world class! Theatre is very nice as well
Good experience took Grandson to see Snow Queen. Good show.
I come here a lot after work for drinks with colleagues and friends - it s very nice and relaxing, and not overly noisy or busy. Great indoor + outdoor seating.
There s also a cat who like to try and break in quite often.
My first visit (to see B*easts) ruined by the oppressive aural pollution of loud pop music all through the bar area (no quiet space) and in the theatre while waiting for the play to start. Even if I had liked the music it was ridiculously loud. Why does the Bush Theatre think this is necessary? I have never experienced this in any other theatre. I won't be going back.
