Nice and sheltered and quiet sitting outside in the 'inner court' with a snack and drink

Few exciting pancakes. Not really other meal options, such as fries.

An escape location in corona times for coffee and some fresh air.

Coffee in the sun, people are difficult about dogs while everyone has them

We took visiting friends here for lunch and we weren t disappointed. Plenty of seats for everyone, a semi help yourself setup, and good prices. All in a nice location at the end of a rowing lake in the Amsterdamse Bos. The weather was cold and wet (mid-November) so we didn t get to enjoy the setting to its fullest, but we ll be heading back in better weather.

Well organized pancake restaurant, friendly staff and well adapted to the covid crisis. Always a nice place to sit down after a walk in the Amsterdamse Bos.

Eaten a delicious pancake with my daughter. Despite Corona measures, very good service and hospitality. Was here for the first time and recommend it to everyone. Especially if you have children who still enjoy the playground. Enough quiet places outside.

Big! The self-service system may not be for everyone, but it was efficient. The pancakes were nice and happy and the toilet was clean (which is always nice with small children).

Become super efficient factory. You would think that the price of the pancakes could be lower, unfortunately that is not the case. Therefore not 5 stars ..

Large terrace but only when you walk in you see a sign that it is self-service. Furthermore, you have no view of the lake as the name suggests.

Have been going here for many years because it's the best pancakes in Amsterdam by far. One of the few places that prepares with fresh milk, which is the original recipe. Strongly suggest to eat the pancakes here. Beautifuo to sit outside and see the trees and feel the calmness. Lovely.

After a long biking or walk around Amsterdam forest, you can find food, drinks, toilet and a small animal farm here. The speciality is all sorts of pancakes. Self service with a pager. Despise of huge crowds, you can wait relaxingly at your table for pancakes ready. The restaurant is located under a landing route of the airport nearby. If you are interested in airplane bottom spotting, it is a great spot! Every 2-3 minutes in average there is an airplane flying over your table!

Situated within the lovely environs of the Amsterdamse Bos this is just a perfect place to bring a child - playground, deer, and really yummy pancakes

It's a good place although a bit far from Amsterdam. On the other hand, the distance makes it cosy and quiet.

I liked the food. They have good pancakes, I tried the one with apple and it was delicious. The one with cherry compote looked amazing too but I couldn't stuff myself with two because they're massive.
The coffee is mediocre. I would suggest to have mint tee instead.

But what really stunned me were the mini deers in the pen. They are almost like pet animals and you can buy some corn for 50 cent and feed them. They would never bite your finger, instead they lick the corn away from your palm with their little tongues. It's so cute. All you have to do is wash your hands afterwards because they'll be in deer saliva. :)

Always great pancakes and fast efficient service. Please note, they are open at 10 am but the pancakes are made from 11 am!

Delicious pancakes. Despite the fact that the waiting time can increase when there is a lot of traffic, it is absolutely worthwhile to eat a pancake here!

Was cozy and good food in an atmospheric restaurant

Food quite tasty, although it could be better. Large portions, very filling. Some spices were missing, especially fresh ones. Plus for freshly squeezed orange juice.

If you eant to experience real Dutch cosiness (gezelligheid) go there.

Delicious pancakes here! Enjoy going in after a walk or cycling in the woods. Self-service via a not very useful system. Prices are okay. Cashing at the cash register is not possible. Ample seating outside with good weather.

Nice atmosphere, plenty of pancakes to choose from. The little ferry next door takes you directly to a busstop. Corona measures are implemented reasonably well.

Quick cleaning service, the bottles were still half full when we went to get the pancakes and were gone when we returned. (Coats were there) but after a short consultation, still got 1 new bottle for free.

Nice place with lots of pancakes. Unfortunately no fries. Nice playground and friendly people. Good place to refuel after playing or walking. Ice machine where the children can tap themselves is fun. Just like the excavator.

Easy to do with all the measures they have taken. Even more fun now with the tables along the playground

What exploitation. Get your own food and drink. Buzzer when your food is ready. 2 cheap girls to clear the dirty crockery that you actually have to hand in at a counter. I don't feel like a customer, but a cash cow. Pay the full price, but no service.

Delicious, affordable and friendly place with great pancakes, soups and always something tasty with coffee. Dogs allowed and staff are really friendly, both for the client and for the dog. Come here.

Lovely pancake house, nestled in the woods just outside Amsterdam.Open all year round on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, open nearly every day til late in the summer. Outside there are peacocks, deer and chickens to feed, swings, slides and a sandpit for the children. And there's Irish coffee and wine for the adults! Also soup, salads etc in case you don't like pancakes, and lots of veggie options. Sit in the sun, or shelter from the rain inside. Always closed on Mondays, but the Ridammerhoeve goat farm, on the other side of the forest is open on Mondays, so you could go there instead.

Today I was visiting the park and my bike chain fell off. I walked my bike and found this place. It was already closed then but people from the restaurant were super warm-hearted, trying the best to repair for almost half an hour, and finally got it fixed. I forgot to take my backpack with me when I left, and the staff drove all the way to find me at the lake site, and gave it back to me. Thank you so much for your help! Amazing people. I'll definitely come back for the pancakes! :)

Traditional place. Nothing changed over the last 30 year s. That makes it great
