I've been to this bakery about 3 or 4 times. I guess I like punishment cause everything in this bakery that I've eaten looked better than it tasted!
If I could give this place zero stars I would.
I must say the prices are decent, And this is because you pay for what you get! Flavorless nasty cake!
Do yourself a favor and go up the block to Martha's Bakery...
GIRL AT COUNTER WAS SO RUDE. I definitely wanted to get her name to make this whole review for her. When I asked for it she seemed like she didn t want to tell me, wasn t even making eye contact while rolling her eyes and I couldn t even understand her. I believe I heard Itsy or Izzie. I was excited to try this place out. I wanted vanilla cupcakes, so I went to handy dandy google and Yelp. I found this place and decided to head there. Store looked cute, clean and the food looked unique. Now I don t know if this chick had a bad day or didn t want to work there, but THERE WAS NO NEED for her to have a stank attitude. Why do you work there if you re not friendly, patient or pleasant. The way she handled my order, I m sure you re losing a lot of customers. I said do you have vanilla cupcakes and with her crusty attitude she was like no we only got chocolate and Oreo. She didn t tell me when they would have vanilla or even have decent customer service skills to seem empathetic. She didn t suggest anything else and made it seem like I m taking up her time. Please fire her and get better customer service. You definitely lost me as a customer and I will NOT be advertising or promoting this place to anyone... Terrible experience here first time. Don t go here unless you like bratty, unprofessional, dusted females that have ZERO customer service. I don t understand how she even got this job. You re around pastries and cupcakes all day, lighten up... on a side note, there was this older lady that took the guy s order behind me and she was delightful! She was naming desserts left and right and smiley! Too bad I didn t have her take my order. I didn t even want to eat the desserts I got because she ruined the whole experience!!!!!!!!
Incredible bakery with beautiful desserts, fresh bread, yummy coffee and home made icecream. You HAVE to go.
This is definitely a top notch bakery hands down. They have all the pastries to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. From cheese cake, to chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes,apple bread pudding,you name it. I had passed by this particular bakery numerous times.and didn't realize this shop is definitely a hidden gem in briarwood queens. Don't forget they also have ice cream parlor.
Which is cool because not every bakery has a ice cream parlor. The cashier customer service was decent and courteous. There was no wait time,and the prices were not to bad.i would definitely go back, I think I found a new bakery.
Great service and bakery items. The coffee is good and since the remodel it is a very nice place to sit for a while to rest.
Update: Decided to revisit again and it was even more disappointing than the first 2 times. The chocolate fudge had orange liqueur which took away from the chocolate and the pumpkin caramel cheesecake was so stale/ bitter that I threw it out. It was really disappointing since they all look so delicious.
Revisiting this bakery after years since they first opened. It tastes about the same. I got a few things. The chocolate fudge cake was just ok. Cake was dense and dry on the bottom layer. It's lacking the fudge flavor. The almond croissant is heavy, dense and moist but missing the distinct almond flavor never the less all the sliced almonds on top. The butter cookies were good. I particularly liked the rugelach. They were very flavorful and buttery. I would come back again. This place has room for potential.

Everything is insanely good. From the drinks to the pastries. Def end up buying way more than expected, but at $4 a pastry I end up walking away very happy. Even when I splurge.
Very good selection. Good handwriting. If you order ahead they can make very good custom orders. Some small things have definately risen in price.
The cafe does not any inside or outdoor dinning option, take out only. It's got a nice vibe when you walk in. You want to grab everything because it looks scrumptious. Their ice cream is made in house and delicious. I have not tried their cakes yet but they look great. I have tried their espresso and it is okay because I have had way better. I will definitely stop by again to sample more items.
