Came with a party of 14 and everyone loved their food! It was worth the wait. The music, ambiance and servers were great! We came from Newark NJ and it was worth the drive. The Mac and cheese was some of the best Mac and cheese I've had and the fried chicken was so good too.
We will definitely be back!

All I gotta say is this was the warmest most homelike place I've been to in a long time and possibly the first when it comes to a Muslim establishment. I will definitely and happily share my experience with all that know me far and wide congratulations to the owners and helpful staff at Metropolis looking forward to many more upcoming events here.
Salmon was salty yams taste like can yams chicken salad look like it had season but didn't taste no season, shrimp and grit was blend no taste, there is no info on the website that the menu is different on Saturday I came in there thinking they had seafood the service was not there had asked for a Togo box twice no napkins when we got our food never again will I eat there. FYI bill was over a hundred and still was hungry when we left there to eat somewhere else
Food was excellent, thank you! Had the cheesesteak with fries and lamb chops with mashed potatoes. Very impressive, will return. Oh, and it is BYOB.
Ordered using door dash. I ordered 2 chicken wing platters. My total was almost $50.
The chicken was fried nicely however it slightly tasted like fish and was hardly seasoned.
The Mac & cheese was a complete disaster. I m unsure what they put in or if it was old.
Garlic spinach tasted burnt.
The yams where surprisingly good.
Sweet tea is pure life not fresh brewed (just a heads up) I feel we wasted money. I choose this place based on its a black owned business and I try to be supportive to the community however listen to the reviews. The people may be nice but the food is horrible.

The food was delicious! I had the salmon, cabbage and collard greens. The salmon was cooked perfectly and I was very happy about that because I usually don t order seafood at restaurants. The cabbage and greens were 10/10 as well. I ll definitely be ordering from here again.
Good food, good portions, nice intimate ambiance. Always a great time. Service was a little slow tonight, but to be expected with cut backs and limitations over the last year. So be patient it's worth the wait, and did I mention BYOB.
Metropolis Restaurants food is top notch and their owner/chef is a masterpiece! All the staff are very friendly, professional and entertaining. Menu items are delicious and the presentations are stunning. Management knows how to treat their clients. I love this place and highly recommend it for any occasion.
