May be not the Greatest Bakery... but I still like it. They have this long sandwich with grilled veggies.... if they could just add a little bit of flavor to it, I think it will taste great.

Went Saturday at like 11am. Was told they have table service so we picked a table and sat.... for 15min. Finally we said something to someone, they brought us menus and left again. 10min later they come back asking if we wanted water with a lemon... never saw her again. We waited a total of about 45min outside and never even got a water. So we made a decision and left. Won t be back. Don t care how good it is- we wouldn t know.

Me and my kids went to paneantico and we got a donut which has the cutest wrapping paper on it and seasonally decorates their donuts with a lot of custard inside and we also went there for breakfast to get a bagel and the bagels were just so fluffy and delicious, definitely recommend.

Great service by Jackie- the place was packed- we told her we had a flight to catch and she attended to us at our table immediately- she was very kind and courteous- the food was nicely prepared and fresh- hearty portions! Will definitely be back

This is a great neighborhood place. It has good sandwiches and other food. The bakery offerings are extensive and fairly priced. You can eat there with table service or get food and bakery items to go. In nice weather, there is outdoor seating available. The place gets very busy on weekends so be prepared to wait in line if you come in the afternoon.

The food was tasty, flavorful and mouth watering. We had the grilled chicken with mozzarella, red peppers and balsamic vinaigrette.
I will be going back and next time i will be sampling their delicious desserts.
When in the area, do go in and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere. You will be planning your next visit, as i was as i paid my check. Bon appetite

Very popular place. I come often for breakfast and lunch though the lunch menu seems like just a listing of every permutation of Italian meats, mozzarella and grilled peppers there are big salads with tuna and chicken options. Roasted veggies and their own oil and balsamic vinegar another good option. Not a bottomless, but a big cup of great coffee. Large selection of Italian cookies and pastries. None on the menu, you have to window shop at the counter where the lines are long. Great cheese cake.

Chaotic . Terrible service. Seated ourselves as instructed . Had to get up and get a menu and request service after a few minutes. Waitress & waiter walked by us multiple times during our 20 minute wait. Finally decided to just leave . A couple across the way with a child had to get up multiple times for service i.e. utensils , the neighboring table empathized & offered our daughter a snack because she verbalized she wanted a cookie.

Just WOW!

Vegan options. This panini is one bite in and I had to write a review. Now I am two bites in and Loving it. Kind of bliss.

Arugula, tomatoes, red peppers, avocado, eggplant and mushrooms. Oh, and balsamic vinegar.

I can't wait to bite into the vegan desserts. I haven't had a sticky bun in years!

Whenever I am in Bay Ridge I make it a point to stop here for lunch. Massive sandwiches stuffed with Italian meats and cheeses. So big it counts as two meals. Whole sandwiches are about 10+ dollars, and worth every penny. Also if you can't get enough of their sandwiches, they are a good follow on Instagram

Feel like a hero sandwich?

Feel like a hero sandwich?
Can't make up your mind as to a good combo?
Hope you're not in a rush 'cause Paneantico has over 100 combinations! Each sandwich is as awesome as the other! Fresh cold cuts, fresh bread, incredible sides... if that's not enough, their salads are Delicious and HUGE!
I'm not wild about their pastries, you can do better at several other Italian bakeries.
As for sandwiches, Paneantico is my Hero!

This review is for the chocolate covered and original extra large cannolis. My father brought a few home for me as a treat and they were the freshest cannolis I have ever tasted . I mean the quality of the pastry was absolutely amazing . The cream was sweet but not sugary sweet so I didn t feel like my teeth hurt after eating them . The crispy outside was soft and crumbled as I but into it . The pastries were just so delicious that my family and I finished them within 24 hours . Also , after placing the cannolis in the fridge over night they still tasted fresh the next day . How amazing is that ?

It's not often that an unpretentious Brooklyn bakery / eatery can never miss a step with the hungry palate of its Bay Ridge patrons, yet it's exactly what you get at this family - owned establishment. Simple, yet sublime, extravagant, yet affordable, you will never leave here disappointed... Maybe only if they run out of eggplant parm.

Baked goods, roast beef heroes with roasted peppers on fresh bread, espresso. Really, what is there in life? With that said, you could live in the back of this place and be happy for a long time. They have outside seating, if you want to pretend you are in Italy or somewhere else exotic instead of sitting in bay ridge, grabbing lunch on a Saturday because you have to run errands.

Bought the eggplant sandwich here and diggity dang was that good. They have this famous tangy and sweet balsamic reduction sauce that kicks your nose off a cliff of smells and colors. Yes colors. It's that strong. It's not a surprise that the place is almost always full, but most of the time people dine and dash (not stealing, they just grab a quick bite and go). Would recommend again, but the parking is atrocious.
