Palms is a little rough around the edges with the Station Casinos buying it and hopefully nice renovation coming they can up the ante a little bit. On another note I have been told by a few customers at the Palms Place it's a little bit of a dump and they need to renovate so I would suggest again staying here until the renovation is complete

Very nice. Just off the strip. Took us 30 min walk or 5 min Uber from Mirage. Only thing is the room service was mediocre. I got chicken strips and they were not good for 10 dollars. I also I left a mug and a full thing of body wash and they reported "nothing found" when I called just hours after. I would have paid to get it mailed to me... They must have just thrown it away?

Every Monday night a group of myself and friends go and see a movie for $5 movie night. The theater is always clean and comfortable and you can't beat the price. $5 includes the new releases so no waiting to see a movie at a discounted price.

When we initially booked the room, I was disappointed because we were a little far from the strip. But once I saw it, I was totally happy. The room was lovely. We visited Ghost Bar on the roof and didn't even end up going to the strip for our one-night Vegas vacation.

I was a customer for a couple of years at Palms. I stayed multiple times throughout the span of 3 or 4 years while having brought people with me, booking multiple rooms, gaming and dining there, etc... I expressed as much loyalty as you can expect from someone who isn t a whale but someone who goes and spends more than the average person. That said, I will never ever EVER do business with Palms or Station again. They don t care about your patronage or safety at all. During our most recent stay (about a year ago) myself, my best friend, and my girlfriend (who is now my wife) were on Palms property walking one night through their exterior parking lot headed to the gas station for some snacks. Figuring it was safer to walk on the property (we assumed there would be regular security patrols throughout the property) we opted to stay on Palms parking lot versus walking on Flamingo Road. While walking through the lot (just before reaching Palms Place) we were stopped by an individual who furnished a handgun and demanded money from us. We complied and did give him what we had as we did not want to escalate the situation. Upon fleeing we did call Metro and they responded along with Palms Security. It should be noted that at no point in time did Security come by in either a vehicle or some sort of motorized bike.. whatever they may use. We went to the front desk after the initial report was taken by LVMPD to talk to the manager on duty about our situation. I lost a good chunk of change and while I did not expect them to put that cash back in my pocket I had thought that due to their lack of security and the fact that I had been a loyal patron for a couple years I didn t think it was unreasonable to see if the note would do something as what had happened was incredibly stressful and traumatic (especially for my wife) The young lady at the front desk went to get their supervisor after we asked for one and it took close to 30 minutes to get someone. Granted it was late at night/early morning but 30 minutes for a manger? Come on. After asking the supervisor if she was aware of what had happened in the parking lot she stated no. What can I assist you with . We gave her the story behind it to which she still claimed she was not aware of and stated that she d have to call someone above her. She made that call in front of my wife and me and when on the phone referred to the whole ordeal as the parking lot incident which to me implicated that she DID know what had happened and was unsure of how to handle the situation. I don t blame the girl. I blame management for lack of proper pRocedures to help guests when situations like this do arise. We are told that someone in Loss Prevention would be in touch in the morning. The following day we had met with two people that had some clout in Palms Upper Management (a gentleman from Loss Prevention and a woman from Risk Management maybe? I forget her title). They in so few words told me that it was my fault for being out that late and having that much money on me and they would have to wait for Metro to perform their investigation before doing anything to try and make up for what had happened. After speaking to the GM of the hotel the only thing I was offered was to check out early with no penalty. What a joke. I am happy to say now that as of December the person who robbed us is in prison, was found guilty of robbing us and others on Palms property) and Palms has not done a damn thing to bring our business back. I called after testifying in Clark County s courthouse to see if they wanted to try and make up for what had happened as we did enjoy staying at Palms while we frequent Vegas. I was promised by the GM s secretary that she would call me after the holidays and have heard nothing since. There are other places in Vegas that will treat you like a valued customer. To Palms/Station, you re just a reservation number. Nothing more. There is zero interest in keeping you as a player or guest. You work hard for your money. Spend it in a place that ll actually care.

Well, we dine in ALL of the Station Properties on a regular basis and are usually considerably more impressed with the quality of the food and service in the buffets, as well as all of the other eateries they offer however, on this occasion we ate at the Lucky Penny Cafe. Both myself and my partner were a bit disappointed with not only the food, which we found to be nothing worthy of ordering again, I had the Walnut shrimp, which I found rather lackluster in flavor, had too much broccoli, and should have been served on a bed of rice, not with the rice in a cup. My partner had the Steak Frittes, a grilled flank steak served with spicy, crinkle cut fries. Both only ok and the fries could have been crisp, and then, the mediocre (at best) service, from a very distracted server,(I do have his name) who never looked at us while we were ordering or, at the table when he was placing our food down. He seemed to be more interested in the young ladies seated at the bar, rather than worrying about tipping clients..
One other point, my partner is a President level rewards cardmember which entitles him to various discounts which we have never had any issue using. Here however, we were informed by our server that the only way to use the discount was by using points or cash for payment. We thought it odd as this has never been an issue any other time but nonetheless, we went to an ATM there and got cash.
So now we are curious, is it only at the Palms property that this policy is in effect?
Lastly, I try to be objective when I describe our dining experiences and they are usually quite complimentary if the experience is at the level we have become accustomed to in these properties and now, with that being said, this particular visit was disappointing and we both would rate this overall experience at a 3/10...
Thank you for reading this, I hope our next visit is an improvement
Be thankful for every day, and peace to all.

Suprisingly good breakfast buffet. $10.99 with players card. Lots of variety and options, including vegan station with tofu dishes. Many egg dishes. Nice change from standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links that most cheap breakfast buffets offer.

I got to stay here for work. The staff are lovely, the rooms are gorgeous and spacious, and the entire place is well kept and clean. They did have a bit of construction going on, but we heard very little through the conference rooms. They brought out delicious meals for breakfast and lunch that were catered. They have multiple restaurants as well as fast food and even a movie theater inside. The only thing I was disappointed about what's not winning any money haha

Applied for a job. After doing 2 interviews and a drug test I got a job offer. When I asked how much they were going to pay he couldn't answer me because according to him he wasn't in the office. When I asked if he didn't know he said that he knew but couldn't answer me until he was in the office. I declined. What a BS.

Was a good affordable location off the strip. Definitely better than normal hotels and had plenty of amenities. The pool was rly pretty but closes early around 6 pm. Shuttle to Caesar's palace was very convenient since it runs every 30 min. Overall, gret experience!

We went to see a movie at the theater. Staff was friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes into our movie we got news of a death in the family and had to leave and the staff refunded us and we're very very polite and helpful during the hard time.

Zero personality. We stayed in the Ivory tower above Club Chaos. We weren't given a choice either. The Club had LOUD music going until 4:15 am the actually shook the counters! Even with earplugs, it was unbearable. Management didn't even seem to care. Obviously, this happens every day but "dark" days. Ridiculous. Also, we wanted to bring a small cooler with only water to the room. We were stopped at the elevator and told we couldn't do that. Last time I would EVER stay there. Period.

I am here for a conference at the sands, but we decided to stay off the strip. Rooms are very nice. We had a team meeting in the conference hall today that was well serviced. We are here for a few more days, but feel like we are getting more for our money.

Still giving 5 stars to whats become the best bargain in vegas. Its not as nice as bellagio or venetian, but the rooms are clean, the staff is extremely friendly, cheap eating options and very close to the strip. Cant wait to see what the renovations bring

Place is looking great after recent renovations. Many dining choices at all price ranges--from a food court to fine dining options. The AYCE Buffet is a nice new addition as well. Renovations are still in the works, but there's still plenty to do while that is going on.

Had brunch at the buffet with my dad. As many buffets go, you have your fair share of mediocre food that isn't a real crowd pleaser, but leaves you satisfied enough to think less of coming back. I don't expect a buffet to "wow" me. I just need it to satisfy my hunger without me felling self-conscious about the quantity of mass-produced food that sits under a heating lamp and what illness I can procure from eating said consumables. All in all, it was okay.

It's not even worth my time to elaborate on the never showing salad that I checked on three times. Ended up leaving, saved $12 and spared myself the carcinogenic, artificial ingredients in their overly processed chicken l. Really a WIN for me.

The room was very modern looking and nice. The staff was friendly, although there was an issue with the supposed use of the in room minibar. I wish the pool was open later and had more seating. The gaming floor has a nice variety of games to chose from which I liked.

After wandering the Vegas strip the hubs and I decided to take a cab to the PALMS for lunch and to see a movie. Although this may be weird but it is the cleanest lobby(the doors are actually crystal clean), the buffet is spic and span and everywhere you look it has a modern open feel(not dingy and stinky). The staff has also been wonderful. We will absolutely return!

The Palms emails a notice of Freeplay but when you go to get it it takes up to 24 hours before you can play it. A wasted trip to a dangeous parking lot for nothing. My last trip there a week ago I was followed to my car and not one security officer in sight.
