Great experience every time I have an appointment at Pali Momi Medical Center. Staff are friendly, and helpful. Facilities are spotlessly clean. Parking is readily available. While visiting people who are here for extended visits there are numerous eating places within a short walk.

We also couldn't find our way, there was staff members that helped and it wasn't only once, it was four times someone approached us and asked us if we needed help. OMG that's so AWESOME

I can t recommend Pali Momi enough. Twice we have ended up in their ER and twice I have been blown away by the kindness, competence and speed of treatment by their staff.

2 hours start to finish for a potentially fractured arm for my kiddo today and back in January a ruptured disk for my dad (on vacation) that ended up in 3 days at the hospital and ultimately a successful back surgery.

Simply the best, I would be comfortable sending anyone in my family there.

I had surgery here last week. This hospital is awesome. The nurses, doctors, PT, and support staff are all top notch. Everyone is very friendly. In the OR room I felt like I was in NASCAR, lol. I never felt one bit nervous before, during, or after my procedure. You're in good hands at Pali Momi.

I'm still waiting for call back for testing i'ts been 5hrs now.

I took a header while surfing in New Zealand. I wasn't getting better when I arrived in Oahu so I decided to get some medical attention. I went to Pali Momi.

From the moment I walked into the ER at Pali Momi, I was treated extremely well. Everyone from the nurses, doctor, x-ray techs and orderlies were so comforting and friendly. Turns out I fractured my C7 vertebrae. They took care of my immediate medical needs and set me straight until I got back home on the mainland.

I was so surprised when a few days after my visit to Pali Momi, I received a call from my nurse, Erwin, checking in to see how I was doing. Just today, a little over 2 weeks after my visit, I received a call from Dr. Lily Gallagher, the doc that saw me, to check in on how I was feeling and if I saw an Orthopedic specialist.

In my 46 years on this planet, I have never received this level of care and attention from any hospital, and I've been to some of the best hospitals in California.

Thank you so much Erwin and Dr. Gallagher for making me feel reassured during such a scary situation. I wish I could remember the other folks' names that helped me during my short stay. They were all great!

Terrible service from the front lady here. People come here not always for the best reasons and for a front desk lady to treat guest like she does, if you hate your job QUIT!!!! Sad how they are here. Go somewhere else if you need help. I'm sure elsewhere gives better service and are treated nice.

Trixie in the medical records department is a ANGEL. Our 11yr. Old granddaughters doctor on the mainland needed some information regarding an operation my husband had years ago at pali momi. We were unable to find our records so we call the medical records dept and was truly blessed to have trixie receive our call for help. This was a very time sensitive issue and trixie went the extra mile for us. Not only was she extremely helpful, she was very passionate about making sure the records got to our granddaughters doctor on time, not easy with the time difference.
We will always be internally grateful to trixie for going over and beyond.

I needed emergency services on March 13, 2013. The staff in the emergency room at Pali Momi Medical Center, were organized and efficient and I was out of there in little more than an hour! I couldn't believe it! I've been to emergency rooms with this same problem in the past and have never left those hospitals in less than 3 or 4 hours!
I was SO IMPRESSED and would like to thank everyone at Pali Momi Medical Center for their efficient service!

Many physicians available. Saw a Dermatologist in this building as well as an Orthopedic Doctor. Also had sonogram done here.

Im here often for imaging and have gone for two surgeries, the staff is verry nice and helpful, always smiling wich make me feel good and welcomed. They know me from head to toe im not even embarrassed anymore, they strive to make me comfy and checking your not im pain and very fast at administrating it to you wich is good cause my pains dont play.

Was there for four days sick really sick , these people are the most professionals I have ever seen put together from emergency to shifts of nurses and Doctors all the way to the cleaning people, so nice very friendly and amazingly caring ,I would always be in their debt.

This is really an incredible hospital. I needed emergency services, IV antibiotics, and surgery. The triage system is wonderful. They see you quickly with a doctor present and determine the right course of action from there. They were correct with what to do in my case. The surgeon was top notch and the after care was great too. The surgeon checked on me each day to see how I was doing. Everyone was so kind and helpful (nurses, doctors, physical therapy, occupational therapy), from discussing how to handle insurance issues to how to effectively manage my pain. I was really impressed. I had just been to the emergency room of my local hospital in California and it paled in comparison. I really feel so lucky to have been in Hawaii and in close proximity to Pali Momi when I needed care. They were supportive yet challenging. It seemed like they really wanted to see me get better, and I did.

Witnessed nurses being incredibly unprofessional to patients and treated them as if they weren t important.

Pali Momi E.R is the best place. Cause they actually check every possibility that there may be. They listen to the patients and not try to hurry them out of the ER so they can get more patients seen. Pali Momi cares for there patients. Keep up the good work Pali Momi Staffs..

I have been to Pali Momi over 20 years. Friendly and helpful staff. Great place to eat all meals there in the Cafe at good prices. They even have a salad and sandwich bar. Clean bathrooms & a Star bucks by the registration area. Try the Chicken long rice it's the greatest!

Personally I hate going to E.Rs or even hospitals because, my past experiences I've felt uncomfortable due to the staff but, my recent visit I was so happy about my visit because i didnt feel judged or uncomfortable. Definitely went in on the right night. Lol. Mark was one of my nurses& he was amazing.

I give them five stars because they know how to take care their patients with care and they call after visiting them to see if we feel better that truly warms my heart knowing that this hospital is a family hospital..

My son went here for a sinus infection and the staff all around were exemplary! Every person there had wonderful bed side manners and the wait time to see a physician was no more than 5 mins. The total time to walk out the hospital was 20 mins. This is an exceptional hospital.

I LOVE PALI MOMI! The Dr's. are very noligble & caring!! I feel very BLESSED!

This is truly an incredible hospital. I came here through the ER and ended up having to be admitted for 3 days. The care and information they shared with me was top-notch from the get go. I felt more like a family member of the staff than a patient. They took great care upon me and gave me support and comfort when I was scared. They all helped me through it all. I appreciate how forth coming they are with information about medicines, what they do and how important it is to follow through to maintain a healthy and stable lifestyle. To Dr. Smedegaard for admitting me, nurse Russell in ER, to the 5th floor nurses Marci, Michelle, Dishon, Kayla and to the aides Jeanne, Jezza, Lauren, huge thanks for making my recovery what it is! If I forgot anyone, I am sorry. But you all know who you are! Pali Momi is the BEST hospital for emergencies and services! Love you all!

Had an MRi of neck due to injury back in Mar 15, Pali Momi imaging took me in straight away, gave me my own disc w/report to share w/primary doctor. A different institution lost my disc, PM gave me a new one with no issues. Just called to have a new printed report mailed to me. I appreciate it!

Excellent nursing staff, dietary staff, and housekeeping staff. !!!!!!

I had severe epigastric pain and vomiting and the ER staff at Pali Momi in Aiea were so caring and kind and professional. I lost my fears because I knew they were taking great care to help me. I had a lot of tests then sent home with prescriptions. Way to go Pali Mom I. It was aloha and ohana wrapped together.

Wow! We have never experienced such quick and professional treatment at an ER. From the time we arrived until we left it was great. Even a valet service so we could get in there quickly.

If you have choice, think gazillion times before you bring yourself or love ones to their ER. Because, their front end crews (based on experience on 04/27/2021 at 10:45-11:00 pm) are thug and trying to intimidate you when they give you instructions where you should stay, wait or stand in line. That s how I feel during that time. But, their backend crews; Nurses, Drs, etc are caring and willing to listen to your concerns.

Traumatic brain injury, multiple fractured skull while being a type one diabetic. After 5 nights was discharged while still constantly puking, had Not even been able to eat a solid meal or just about anything for that matter. Long story short, back in the hospital within a day or two in DKA + more. Complete negligence!!! No concern for anyone!!

Nice hospital and friendly staff. The dinning room is a little small but there is outside seating. Valet parking staff was rude to me

I'm always seen on time and the doctors and PA's I interact with are incredible knowledgeable. High touch plus high tech working properly.

Long Overdue review Palimomi and all staff of this hospital has been so patient so caring of my mother when she was admitted to their hospital they had attentive and passionate caring The LOVE and ALOHA showed within their cleanliness building and beautiful staff

DON'T BRING YOUR BABIES HERE!!! THEY WILL MAKE YOUR BABY SUFFER IN PAIN!!
I want to give 0 stars but can't! Every time we visited this hospital they made it worse. I really don't care to share about my visits; but when I took my 1yr old son here, they needed a urine sample. The stuck a de catheter straw in his penis fricken 3 times!! He was screaming bloody murder the 1st time and they couldn't get any urine. They tried 2 more times after that (each were about 30min apart). It wasn't until after the third failed attempt did they decide to strap a baggy over his penis so that if he peed, it would catch it. I asked them why didn't they do that the first time? They said they didn't want to wait for him to have to pee. I was so pissed that they would make a baby suffer in so much pain to save them some time. My son is 7 now, and he is still horrified of hospitals. I hate Pali Momi ER, they don't fricken care about you, they just wanna get you out as soon as they can.

My sister was treated like she was not a priority and the doctor didn't introduce herself to me and my family and just said"it's swollen" that's it...... and I was like bruh...... YOU HAVE TO TREAT THIS AS A REAL EMERGENCY ALMOST AS A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION

Doctors and staff are friendly.

If it's not life threatening, don't go to the emergency. One thing to note is that multiple businesses are here so you'll get multiple bills from multiple companies.

I got run over. Felt ok but went in to make sure. Took x-rays, got a CAT scan just in case, and had to get stitches. Luckily I was fine and I was out in a couple of hours.
Pacific Radiology Group $80 ($900 w/o insurance)
Hawaii Pacific Health $1,600 (18,000 w/o insurance. I got this bill a year after the accident)
Hawaii Pacific Health follow up appointments. $45 (900 w/o insurance)
US Acute Care Solutions $90 ($2,400 w/o insurance. They wouldn't charge my insurance so it took a while to get it to $90. They are a mainland company so it took a couple calls at 5:00am to get them to charge me correctly)

Anyway, so for my experience, it cost about $2000 with a lot of time spent on the phone to get it that low. If I didn't have insurance, it would have cost $22,200. That's potentially life threatening in itself.

This is a great medical facility. They have been taking care of my dad for more than ten years, and the staff and the service are always friendly and professional.

The ER Triage nurse very unfriendly/cold and acted as though I had nothing wrong with me. Very unprofessional and extremely irritating.

I had my surgery done by Dr. Grief. My experience at Pali Momi was phenomenal. I attended the other bariatric seminar, thinking that surgeon was the best in the state but, found them to only be interested in the financial prospect of my health situation. I chose Pali Momi at the urging of my Health Insurance Company and I do not regret anything about my choice. Christy, Maria, and Dr. Grief have been an amazing support group for my weight loss. 2 years out and 120 lbs lighter, I'm maintaining my weight and have achieved a greater, healthier way of life. I owe everything I am today to Dr. Grief and Pali Momi's bariatric program. They truly are THE center of excellence in my book when it comes to bariatric surgery, support system and education to be successful.

WORST ER Experience ever ! Everyone is just walking, talking stories while all of the patients are waiting patiently in the Waiting room or their Assigned rooms. Literally waited 3 hours with a back pain, NO X-RAY, just for them to tell me, your scans seems fine, your back should be good in 2-6 weeks ..... how would they know? They didn t even do a X-ray/scan? NEVER AGAIN !

Hands down most horrible e.r ever. I Was in a car accident & The nurse Gave me a shot in my arm & then hurried me out of my room while I struggled 2 walk out. No xrays or anything. My ride was so horrified by the treatment I received that they offered to take me to queens. Pali momi does not care about there patients, they are about profit and seeing as many people as quickly as they can and getting them out. No quality Care over there

This hospital saved my life twice.since 2008 I've been in the ER maybe 150 times .also been in other ERs around the island and pali momi is one of the best. Doctors and RNs AND staff are very good at what they do.thank you pali momi

Still sick 2 months later. Asked doctor for further clarification but only got canned response and rushed out the door. Even went back to ask to go over diagnosis again to try to understand what is wrong with me. Their meds helped but a month later sick again. Went back only to receive another "cause unknown" diagnosis and more meds. They are popular and busy and just want to rush you though the process and collect your insurance
